It was rich, creamy, and tasted just like regular gelato even though it had no animal products. That was a nice surprise, since vegan desserts can sometimes fall short, but this one did not. The gelato is definitely on the pricier side, but that is not unexpected for Coconut Grove. The quality came close to matching the price in my view. They also give a complimentary cookie wafer with each gelato, which was a nice touch. The shop itself has a good mix of indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit hot outside when I visited, so I chose to sit inside, which was comfortable. The staff was also very nice, which made the visit even better.
