Just came for a quick breakfast in this cozy and hidden place with my wife and dog. The place is very small and cozy, the food is decent, i had a tuna wrap and my wife had ham and cheese croissant, both dishes were pretty good. They don't sell any alcohol there so be ready to drink coffee, smoothies or something like that. One of the things what this place is missing is good organization, cleaning the tables, swiping the floor and faster customers service, hope they will work on it, in rest everything was pretty good.

It is part vegan kitchen, part natural grocery store, and completely full of heart. From the outside you might not expect much, but the second you walk in you can feel the energy. The main guy in the kichen - my man Carlos!! - has so much charisma. Before I even had time to fully look at the menu, he handed me a small sample of their soup of the day. It was warm, flavorful, and honestly so delicious that I was instantly sold! I am not even vegan, but the food completely won me over. Everything tasted fresh, nourishing, and thoughtfully made. I ordered more than I planned to, and I have to admit something funny. I do not have a single picture of what I ate or drank because I literally gulped it down so fast. It was that good. The only photo I managed to take was of the enchiladas, the menu, and of course; Carlos! Everything else disappeared before I even thought about my phone. They also made me a freshly squeezed orange juice, and I watched them use actual oranges right there. No fake juice, no concentrate, just real oranges being squeezed. It tasted fresh and clean. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable. It feels good to eat something that is both healthy and affordable. The store side is just as charming, with shelves full of natural supplements, spices, snacks, drinks, and little treasures you did not know you needed. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have customers walk through the door. It ended up being such a fun and unexpected experience for me. I walked in out of curiosity and left with a full stomach and a big smile. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or none of the above, I truly recommend stopping by and supporting this spot. Places like this deserve all the love!!

I looked around and realized that my Russian friends brought me to a place that's much more than a pharmacy servicing the Russian community. What I entered was a holy holistic refuge for healing. These are some of the life changing things I saw. - Semi-precious Crystals(generators, tumbled stones, necklaces, bracelets, malas etc) - Herbal extracts and remedy's - nutritional supplements like vitamins and minerals - life changing compounds like black seed oil( it cures cancer), milk thistle(cures non-viral hepatitis) and wild harvested oil or oregano(cures colds and flus) - Incense including Tibetan incense - unique smudge sticks - herbal teas - organic meal replacement powders like Raw Meal - Buddhist and Hindu statues - gifts that support the zen lifestyle - prescription medication - bach flower essences In reality it would take me hours to list all of their products. I felt like a kid in a candy store, I saw many of my favorite brands & products like Dr's Best, Jarrow, North American Herb & Natural Calm Magnesium(cures anxiety, sleep issues & panic attacks). When I reached the back of the store I could then see why I sensed such a powerful radiating familiar energy, there were two huge statues of Kwan Yin complimented by citrine & amethyst geodes and selenite towers. Kwan Yins presence is actually in this store. Talking to the owner was like talking to someone I knew in a previous life, I could have stayed there forever. She's high spirited, she radiates zen and she has a wealth of health knowledge. I am really happy and appreciative that I've found this place, I am going to return again and again....and then again and again.

You literally take your life in your hands eating anything from behind the deli counter where the hot food is. On one occasion, the $5 pizza night pizzas were burnt to a crisp and the smell permeated the store. On another occasion, the $5 chickens caught fire in the oven. Ummm, you see a pattern here!!?? The kids that work behind the counter look dirty like they haven't washed their clothes or even bathed in weeks. So disgusting!!! Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't wash their hands when leaving the bathroom. A few times there wasn't any soap in the bathroom dispensers at all. So frustrating these kids have zero people and communications skills and absolutely zero self regulation skills! The "I'm triggered" generation are annoying and entitled af! They claim no accountability, responsibility or possess any problem solving skills. They just want to be confrontational. Makes basic shopping a mind numbing experience for the rest of us!

I was in the neighborhood to get a badly needed haircut while visiting from the Bay Area for work and next door on the corner on an otherwise unassuming street is this solid legit Cuban sammie and coffee place. Locals galore sitting outside sipping strong Cuban coffee and eating Sammie's and empanadas. Who am I to argue with the locals. They definitely steered me right on this one. The Cubano was stuffed with moist roasted pork and ham with pickles and melted cheese. The spicy garlicky green sauce that comes with it could make an old shoe delicious ! The coffee was spot on and that roasted pork and plantain empanada also hit the proverbial spot. All in with tax and tip for $25 I was stuffed full and now remarkably fluent in Spanish ! Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.
