I've been to Fresh Market quite a few times. The ambiance in the store is amazing. I really like the decor. Their prices are a bit high, but the food is definitely quality. They have a wonderful selection of coffee contained in barrels. They carry fresh meats and seafood, delicious desserts and amazing premade foods. Used to be a great store. Unfortunately a lot of the Gen Z kids they hire to work there, not all of them though, that handle the food and customer service issues, basically have zero people or basic courtesy skills and are destroying that beautiful market. You literally take your life in your hands eating anything from behind the deli counter where the hot food is. On one occasion, the $5 pizza night pizzas were burnt to a crisp and the smell permeated the store. On another occasion, the $5 chickens caught fire in the oven. Ummm, you see a pattern here!!?? The kids that work behind the counter look dirty like they haven't washed their clothes or even bathed in weeks. So disgusting!!! Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't wash their hands when leaving the bathroom. A few times there wasn't any soap in the bathroom dispensers at all. So frustrating these kids have zero people and communications skills and absolutely zero self regulation skills! The "I'm triggered" generation are annoying and entitled af! He is always willing to assist any customer and goes above and beyond to satisfy each shopper. Free parking! In Miami Beach parking can be an issue. Store is small but clean and organized. One constant problem that is very annoying is errors with prices. You see one price on the aisle but then the register says another one. Also the price monitor is very far from the customer so you don't have a chance to see the error until after you pay. Then you have to wait for a manager to show up to get the refund for the mistake they made. It happens 95% of times I shop here. However, I love the products in this store. Seasonal items are always good. Tuesday chicken deals are great. Coffee station has delicious coffee at reasonable prices. read more

I went to The Fresh Market 1800 West Avenue in Miami Beach for an interview to be an Assistant Manager, working with Customer Service, and different tasks to do during the day to make sure the store was organized and help with the Bakery organization, etc BUT, for my surprise the manager in duty, a man, told me that 99% I should be a cashier, can you believe that? I felt totally disrespectful with all my skills , knowledge and management experiences. In addition, I speak three languages and understanding two more very well, to lower my standards like that. Unbelievable!! I should help the store as a cashier if the store needed but not stand all day long as a assistant manager as a cashier. He should be more concerned about the position that they offer and be clearly in Indeed because I hadn't wasted my time going to the interview . Maybe he is not prepared to be a Manager and disrespect who has skills and knowledge to say something like that: are you kidding me? Better don't apply for over there unless if you want a "cashier" position. Even though be a cashier's is a honest job like any other but you don't need skills, or knowledge for that. It wasn't good . I have mixed feelings about The Fresh Market because I've been to a few here in Miami and was not that impressed with the layout, prices and choices. I had the day off and had to meal prep so decided to stop by this location since it's new and I've never been. The first thing that called my attention was the gorgeous flower display! OMG I love their flowers and plants! I went in at 9am which was great because it was so peaceful. The staff was unloading the produce, getting the food in the warmers and prepping for the day. I love how clean and organized everything is although they're working. Super friendly, everyone asked if I needed help. I picked up a few things that were on sale like the berries which were gorgeous and delicious. The organic chicken breast for $2.99/lb which were great! I come to find out they're this price every Tuesday so guess were I'm heading today? (it's Tuesday LOL) Since I was running a few errands after I grabbed lunch from their cooked food section. The woman working at the station was nice and told me to try the chicken salad (tuna style but chicken) that I would love it and I did. It was perfect. I also got the glazed salmon with kale + sweet potato salad and a chickpea salad for $10! Super huge serving with such great taste. Great option if you don't have lunch/dinner and want to eat on the healthier side. I fell in love with this particular Fresh Market and it is closer to me than the rest so i'll make this part of my grocery haul routine. read more

The Fresh Market is one of my favorite supermarket/specialty grocery store. It offers fresh meat, seafoods, vegetables, fruits and freshly baked pastries and breads. They also sell deli platters, charcuterie meat and cheeses, marinated meat and seafood. They also have bouquets of flowers, potted blooming plants and herbs. Beer and wine and so much more. I ordered 4 items for curbside pick up this morning and since it is my first time to do a curbside pick up, I didn't know where to pick it up so I went to the check out areas, and waited for a cashier to be available as there were customers paying and checking out. Ben the cashier was free so I asked him if he can help me with something. He looked at me and ignored me, as he went to call the customers on the other line. I asked him again because he was the only one without a customer and he looked at me and shakes his head repeatedly as if he's telling me non verbally NO. I went to the next cashier and Ashelyn helped me to get my curbside pick up items. It took some time so I went inside and bought more items, and checked out with Ashelyn, and she helped me get my pick up items. This store is really nice, as I go here several times a week. I had some issues with the other cashier Sara last week. I have no idea what I did to them as I don't bother them for anything aside for scanning my items and paying for what I bought. Will still shop here but will never check out with them again. read more

Super clean super cool little market. Lots of interesting things. Most of what I needed I was able to find here. Very friendly staff. Their meats are really good as are the fish. The rest of us look delicious. All in all us very nice store. This was my first time in it because I generally use a delivery service. So it's a nice experience to see what's available in the store. Found in Miami Beach, this store has its own parking, which given the area, is a miracle in itself. Not to mention that it's a two-story building with a garage. Going in, too, is a dream. The produce aisle alone is mighty spacious. The vibrant colors of the fruits and vegetables can't help but catch your eye, as well as the overall feel of the place. As per usual, this location likes others has a deli, a bakery, and even a meat counter. Add the awesome coffee area and all of the wine section. Believe me, you won't miss anything here. I was shopping in this store almost everyday after I left my exercise class. But I have since stopped due to a couple main issues. 1. The price posted on the tag in front of the item is often incorrect. I was charged $29.99 for olive oil when it was clearly marked $12.99. I didn't notice unit I got home and had to walk all the way back, spend more time and finally got my money back and returned the item. 2. I asked the butcher to slice some meat for me. He refused. There were two of them and I was the only customer. Ok, well for $21.99 a pound, that's the least they could have done especially since that's their job. Poorly run store and very expensive. I go to get prepared salads from the deli and was told I have to get in a long line which had at least 15 people with one person assisting. There were at least seven employees working behind the counter with none assisting the long line. I then proceed to the front where even more lines existed. This place is SOO cute!! The layout and design is beautiful and classy. It reminds me of a mix between Whole Foods and Publix. They might not have as much variety for everyday grocery items but their selection of fresh prepared goods is much more than what Publix has for a much better price than if you were to go to a restaurant or a bigger company like Whole Foods. I can't believe I haven't been to this place before! Not only is this place dog friendly, but it's very nice, elegant, and yeah, kinda expensive place. They sell quality, that is for sure. Not only do that have very nice furniture decorating their walls in a lovely fashion, but their food is displayed fantastically all around. The Fresh Market has a wonderful produce section with lots of variety; fresh fruit and vegetables. The bakery department has the best deserts on the beach. Unfortunately the service is hit or miss; mostly miss these days. I've had to return so many items to this store, because they were rotted, growing mold, or past the expiration date. I just opened a new Parm Cheese container from here, and it was covered in green mold inside. I've also gotten rotten meat from here on more than one occasion. And, the salads are always covered in brown spots and funk. It is amazing this place is called "Fresh Market" because I've never shopped anywhere that had so much rotten and expired food. The items here are anything but fresh. Seriously, check the expiration date on everything, and be careful to not get sick from old or improperly refrigerated items. Always running out of sale items. Management is the worst there. They don't care. Don't know how to run the place. And actually shove customers away. They take forever to get their hot foods ready. And sometimes the hot foods they have are from the morning. They pour the new food right over the old right infront of you. They dont even mix it in. The girls working start shutting down the slicers at 7 30 and they never have anything freshly sliced ready to go on the weekends because no one is there. It seems the Management could care less about the place. And it shows. When the manager is on vacation nothing gets done. Shelves are empty. And they are always running out of sale items. And sandwiches. Never do they have chicken salad over the weekend. And they have bones in it too. It seems they can't hold onto their èmployees. I do get attitude from the butcher area and the deli area at times. Just the other day I asked for a different size of corned beef. After it was retrieved and I decided against it (too much fat) the butcher gave me snide look and rudely walked away without a word. The cost of the products are premium prices. This store is extremely clean compared to similar stores in the area. Staff is plentiful, helpful and friendly. However the layout of the store is odd, and it is not easy to find things. Also inadequate wine selection. The main reason for the one star is the layout of the store and the lack of a restroom. The restrooms have been blocked off for an unknown reason. I can easily spent 30 mins to 2 hours here, so I would like to have access to a restroom. I'm certainly paying those kind of prices here. Trader Joe's down the street has similar prices and a restroom as expected for a grocery of this price point. read more

More of a 3.5 experience here. If you're hosting a dinner party fit for Joan Rivers or Ralph Lauren, The Fresh Market is a solid place to start. Imagine everything you'd find at a farmer's market with a hint of a butcher, a fish market, bakery, floral stand, chocolate shop and deli. I stopped in to check out their prepared food and found all sorts of rotisserie flavored chicken and chicken wings, a cold food section with my favorite, chicken salad, and a humble salad bar which I thought could've been stepped up a notch. Oddly located around the corner from a new Publix, The Fresh Market gives the the nearby Whole Foods and the second nearby Publix a run for its money?
