SCW and I stopped into Sky Coffee Buenos Aires in Miami while staying nearby. We saw the converted MD-88 aircraft and decided to give them a try. You order inside the actual fuselage of a MD 88 airplane. There are also some seats inside in case you want to sit in the plane. You can also see the flight deck which was nice. After ordering we sat at a table outside and enjoyed the ambiance. I particularly enjoyed the chickens that were out roaming around the seating area. A few roosters and hens, and they were cute. I got a green juice which was really, really good. Great flavors, not sweet, just really good green juice. SCW had the lemonade which we both thought was too sweet. The experience was pretty cool. How often does one get to say they ordered/dined in airplane converted into a coffee/restaurant? I'm glad we did, and would come back. The food looked great too, we just weren't hungry when we stopped in.

Sky Coffee Buenos Aires is a favorite Miami spot on Instagram. What makes it so unique is this small Argentinian cafe operates out of the front part of a former Delta Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-8. I visited on a weekday and was easily able to find inexpensive metered parking on the street. The plane is set up in a small park like area. They have outside tables you can dine at and I loved that the whole area was decorated for Halloween. There was even a giant skeleton popping up from the top of the plane with his latte. Roaming on the ground you will see adorable roosters, hens, and their babies which everyone feeds. You place food and drink orders inside the cabin of the plane where you can also see the cockpit. They had the viral Dubai chocolate and strawberries along with sandwiches, pastries, and coffee beverages. They were also advertising a lasagna. Service was friendly and warm. They were even wearing airline uniforms. I decided on a vanilla cold cream latte and a ham and cheese croissant which was brought out to my table when ready. I thoroughly enjoyed both in the shade of a banyan tree. With it's photogenic location and delicious food and drinks, Sky Coffee is a must stop when you are in Miami.

This coffee spot is sooo cool! I was just walking around and saw this big plane and realized it was a coffee shop too. You enter the plane and you order inside. Baristas are dressed as cabin crew and captains. Coffee was good! The vibe is really cool. This concept is so unique.

What a cute little spot! We happened to come here opening day last year, and passed it again on our way back from a run this past weekend and decided to stop in again. The concept of the plane being where you order is so unique and the food and drink menu is surprisingly extensive for such a small kitchen. I got the Dubai chocolate iced latte and the unexpected presentation was a nice add on to the fact it was delicious! The service was pretty quick other that the steak sandwich that my husband ordered that didn't come out until after everyone else was done eating. I like that mostly all of the outdoor tables are in the shade and it's still cool despite it being outside. We will definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

We were staying at the Marriott Biscayne Bay and decided to take a stroll to get coffee. I had found a spot I wanted to try after reading Yelp reviews. We walked 5 min and stumbled upon this amazing coffee bar that is this welcome respite in the middle of a concrete jungle. It's an actual airplane that you go inside of and order your food and drink. All the employees are dressed as a Sky Coffee flight crew. Then you sit outside or in a dome that has portable ac units. Service was friendly, our latte and americano were just okay...but I absolutely loved this concept. I kept walking around to see what else there was to see! Lots of birds walking around (they had a plastic kiddie pool for them). I just wish the coffee was better.

Sky Coffee in Miami was a whole vibe. The place is super chill -- like the kind of spot where your coffee tastes better just because the scenery is that good. Comfy seating, great energy, and the Dubai strawberries... I almost asked for a second round. Looking for a place to sit , snack , and bring friends to have a good chat this is the place to be

As I'm writing this review, I'm debating which airplane movie to quote from. So I settled on Con Air, due to the metal platforms to get into the old plane and that I wanted to hear a little Lynnrd Skynyrd in posting videos. Besides, the fact you're able to sit in the pilot's seat gave me the chance to channel my inner "Swamp Thing". I'm pretty sure anyone with a smart phone and social media know this is a popup cafe in a decommissioned airplane. Besides the cockpit, there's also a photo op in the passenger area. However, only one of the seats is set up for dining. There are tables and "dining bubbles" outside though. Since we're here about the food, their sandwiches are truly First Class. They are photogenic and delicious! I enjoyed their fig, Brie and ham sandwich. Mine was three slices of lightly toasted bread with sweet fig jam, slices of ham and gooey melty Brie. I also enjoyed a latte as well as a guava paste lattice pie. Besides their usual menu of sandwiches & coffee, it seems to occasionally have main plates, such as lasagna. This is definitely a cool little find ;make it a point to check it out!

I visited Sky Coffee Buenos Aires for the first time this week and let me tell you, the experience was one of a kind! From the airplane aesthetic, to the interesting combination of menu offerings, everything felt very unique and original. I walked in and immediately went to the airplanes rear wing, where I was able to go up the ramp and order my bites and coffee. I loved the variety of items they had to offer. We went with the empanadas, the almond cake and the pistachio cake and ordered an iced espresso as well as a Tierra del Fuego drink. Everything was pretty solid and sipping on a coffee while staring at a plane that looks like it landed in the middle of the city makes the vibe so fun and cutesy.

The most unique coffee shop I have been to! Looked up a coffee shop near my hotel and this sold me. If you are in the area please check them out! Highly recommend the customer was great! Honestly I can't remember the names lol The barista recommend them and she did a great job! They were both great! We had the red velvet latte and the one with the airplane in the top both with oatmeal. She also recommend the empanada with chicken and plums. Wasn't a fan of the cooked plums but it was different! The outside area is so nice you want to stay! Enjoy!!

If you want content for your Instagram then step right up and enjoy viral worthy coffee pics. There's a lot to love here but our experience fell a little short. If it wasn't for the cool vibe of climbing into an airplane to order our coffee I would probably give it 4 stars. But then again, I got to climb into a plane to order coffee. The coffee was delicious but lukewarm and cooled very quickly on this breezy day. The egg sandwich could've used more salt and seasoning. Hubby loved the brie and fig sandwich which was really good. Having pink coffee is definitely an experience. It was delicious but I would've preferred it hotter. I think the flowers were edible but they didn't melt in your mouth so I ended up scooping them up. Definitely worth a visit especially if you have an aviation fan in the family.

    Marisa N.

I tried the vanilla ice latte for $6.50! Pretty good! It's Halloween time and decor is fun. They have a lot of seating outside and food options but I didn't eat. This place got popular off social because they are inside of an airplane.

    Shelby E.

All I can say is you have to go for yourself! This place has been on my list to visit forever and I finally had the chance since I was in the area already. It was decorated so cool for Halloween that I couldn't resist pictures and videos. I love how unique this spot is where you order your coffee in an airplane. The ambiance is so cute and the coffee was delicious as well. Prices are extremely fair especially for Miami. You won't be disappointed here.

Look at the plate. It was a big slice of steak, 2 eggs (scrambled) fries, a side of bread and a cup of coffee. We could have totally shared the one entree and be full for 2 people! The price definitely beats the portion. Steak sandwich- I got the sandwich which was also big in portion. It came with chips fries on top. The sandwich had onions and lettuce, tomatoes. It may not be the tastiest meal but it def satisfied our belly and our wallet. The service was great. The guy who took our order was very nice and the lady seems like she didn't speak a lot of English. The food was not salty so more on the bland side so you can definitely dress it up with sauce. Located a couple of blocks off a major road (Washington Ave.), Las Olas Cafe felt like a hole-in-the wall neighborhood joint - a team of off-duty police officers were enjoying their dinner inside the restaurant, and families were eagerly lined up at the to-go window outside the restaurant. As I waited in line to order, I perused the menu, which included breakfast items, coffee, and a variety of sandwiches. Even though there were only a couple of customers ahead of me in line, each meal was made-to-order before the next order was taken. This meant that the staff prepared about half a dozen coffees, a couple of smoothies, and several meals before it was my turn to order. When I finally placed my order for a Cubano sandwich, I waited about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. My sandwich was served piping hot, and I eagerly took my food to go so I could enjoy it at the beach nearby. Despite the wait (about an hour from the time I arrived at the cafe despite the short line), my food was delicious. The sandwich was stuffed with crispy shredded pork and ham, and a generous amount of mustard, melted cheese, and pickles pulled it all together.

For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once.
