This one star rating is due to the delivery incompetencies - the pizza itself is great but for a place that's right behind our home- the wait is ridiculous. Not once but twice have we had our delivery messed up. They blame their third party system- door dash- but then you are to blame for continuing to use them. The first time they messed up the guy was trying to deliver the pizza to the wrong street (double checked and the info I entered was correct in my email confirmation). I had 4 kids wait over 2 hours until they figured out how to get to my house. I called and they said I would get a credit but that was never received. The second time was last night and we got our pizza almost one hour after the estimated delivery time and it was cold. The driver had the wrong address- so I would say: Pizza is great. Last time making the mistake of ordering from here. Waited nearly an hour after my pickup was supposed to ready. I get it, it's hard to find good help and it's Friday peak time. However just manage your time better. Instead of telling me my pizza will be ready at 6:50 tell it'll be ready at 7:40 and put a disclaimer up when you expect delays. Pizza had also gone way downhill. Little things like my bada bing didn't had the prosciutto missing, WTF. Go to Luna's if in West U., it's a little farther but worth it and honestly the extra 5 minutes driving will be made up by not waiting 40 minutes after your order is supposed to ready. I finally lost my Pink's pizza V-card last night after sometime at Bacco, a wine bar nearby. I called my order in and ordered a pepperoni, bacon, pineapple pizza with some ranch of course. Oh yeah, of course I had to get the 16" . When I got it, it was piping hot out of the oven and smelled like heaven in a box. Unfortunately, and not at all the restaurants fault, because of this crazy Houston weather, by the time I drove and parked hen walked to my hotel, it was cold. (Again, my beloved Houston takes the blame on this one) BUT, it was still fanfreakingtastic. Everything tasted delicious! I needed to do some stress eating on a Friday night. I wanted pizza. Pink's answered the call and then some. I called my order for pick-up, the process was super easy. You can order online, too, but I didn't want to create a profile, enter a credit card, and click around to select my pizza. I was told that my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. Sure enough, when I got there 20 minutes later, it was good to go. The inside is pretty simple and super casual - it looks more like a grab-and-go kind of place, less like somewhere that you would spend a lot of time in. But there were people hanging out at the tables, so it was pretty happening at 10 pm on a Friday. I ordered the uncomfortable-to-pronounce Deuce. It was awesome. Plenty of pesto and goat cheese, garlic, spinach, mushrooms, and tomatoes. The crust is sorta half-chewy and tasted pretty good - no hard cardboard, tasteless ends to be found. This is another updated review. After my last not so great experience, management got in contact with me and apologized. I really appreciated that, customer service is so key and I appreciate when people go out of their ways to right wrongs. So I had a chance to give pinks another they they did not disappoint! Got my usual vegan pizza and the cheese was indeed vegan and so delicious, even my non vegan fiancé loved it! I also love that despite a ton of construction in the area I can always find a parking spot in the lot. Also the pizza was made quickly and has super friendly service. After months of pizza deprivation, I finally decided enough is enough! And I paid a visit to Pinks Pizza for lunch with a friend. This location is pretty small, but there are tables available to dine-in. As far as ordering, you have two options. You can get a customized ginormous slice for about 5.00 with 75cents for each topping. There are also specialty pizzas for purchase as whole (with different sizes- 12" or 16"). We really wanted to try one of the specialty pizzas, so we decided to get the small Luigi (total w/ tax about $18). The pizza is topped with a pesto sauce and has pinapple, canadian bacon, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and more! It seemed too good to pass up. There are bar-style seats along the side of the open kitchen, where you can see your pizza being made. Aside from the fact that the pizzas are gluten-free, theyre also gynormous in size! We received the pizza and oh the first bite was just piping hot, but it didn't matter because the pizza was just amazing. Crunchy but chewy crust, perfect amount of cheese, and toppings. And oh whoever invented canadian bacon... I worship you! It fit perfectly with the flavor profile of the pizza. Maybe a bit pricey but definitely check out this place. Hands down, this is the best New York style pizza you'll find in Houston - it's that good! I've been to New York and Chicago (Gino's East tops my list), if that gives you an indicator of pizza I've eaten. The restaurant is very small, and luckily the 6 of us found stools at the bar. There are four tiny bar tables; I am not sure how you manage to fit your pizza on the table. Nonetheless, the tables were all already taken on Saturday around 5PM. Sometimes the line becomes so packed that it's all the way to the door, although the store itself is tiny. If you're ordering your food to eat in the restaurant, wait staff will bring your food to wherever you're sitting. I also liked being able to see the whole kitchen. You can watch the guys make the pizza as you're eating; it's so neat, watching them toss the pizza crust! This place must have enough business, as I noticed there were 5 people working. Oh, and the bathroom is clean (there's only one), which is helpful. I ordered a slice of pizza, which is so huge, it comes to you on two paper plates. This is where the menu fails to explain the process, hence why I could not give five stars. The store window states you can order pizza by the slice. However, you cannot order one speciality slice of pizza, i.e. a slice of Big Boss pizza. Instead, you order a slice of pizza with up to three toppings (see photo). Also, there is no price on the menu for a slice of pizza, which costs $6.77 including tax. Still, this is the best pizza I've tasted since visiting Chicago in 2009. The sauce is excellent, the crust is delicious, and I love being able to actually fold and eat the pizza like a New Yorker. I definitely will be returning. read more

If I could give this place a zero star, I would. Tonight I placed an order for contactless delivery and paid by credit card over the phone. The driver appeared at my door without a mask and gloves and insisted that I sign a credit card slip. He did not stand 6 feet away from me. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and signed. In hindsight, I should have told him to take it back and got a refund. I called the manager right away to let him know and to clarify the company policies for future reference. The manager was a complete jackass who told me that he was too busy to be concerned about my (or actually his employee's) safety. So, insult to injury, Pink's employee put me at risk, and then the manager was rude to me about it. He was only concerned about how busy he was at the moment. His parting words were: "You know, I'm just too busy to deal with this, so just send the company an email. I need to get back to work." Guess what, buddy, satisfying the customer IS your work. I have been trying to support local restaurants generously during this tough time. My mistake was to give my business to Pinks. I will NEVER, EVER do business with Pink's again. I didn't realize that Pink's policies and management were so atrocious. There are at least 20 pizza joints -- with better pizza -- close to my house. I'll be patronizing them from now on, not Pink's. read more

I have been driving by this place and I have always been wanting to try it out. I finally came here for lunch and I decided to get the large slice of cheese pizza with the bacon bread stix. It is a pretty small place I thought it was a little bigger, but it is your typical pizzeria place. My slice of pizza was not that bad it was good. I am used to the huge slices of New York pizzas so to me my slice was a okay. The stix that the employee recommended me to get was good and very delicious. The crust is thin and crispy (the way I like it), the sauce and cheese were tasty and in good proportion, the mushrooms were fresh, and I spiced it up with the crushed red pepper that the staff provided upon request. I don't understand why a slice took a 20 minute wait, and I think $7 is a lot for 1 slice of Pizza but I was satisfied with my experience. 12" Pizza Pie to Go: We ordered and picked up a specialty pizza of our favorite toppings (mushrooms, prosciutto, onions, garlic, peppers) and again it was tasty, fresh, but the crust was not as crisp. The pizza required a quick visit to the oven to fit our preference, but flavors were still delicious. Again, the price was a bit much but given the quality of ingredients, it may be worth it. The seating is not ideal for a quality dine-in experience. They are tall bar stools with small round tables that would require a bit of a squeeze for a group of 4, and not the most comfortable chairs. read more

I walked in for the first time, a small quaint little place. I was greeted immediately. When I asked if they sold pizza by the slice, the guy working referenced the pizza box for size; he was friendly. I order a cheese slice and a coke, he brings it to my table when it was ready. Being a native New Yorker, I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, and so I loved how crispy the crust was. The cheese was melty and yummy looking. So at first bite, I was delighted, but I soon realized that there is something missing from the recipe. I'm thinking garlic or salt, it was kind of bland. This place is great. Some people on this site are waaay to uptight when reviewing. When a person gets upset because they had to wait five or ten extra minutes for an order to be done, when they came in with a long line already in front of them. They are being selfish. I have seen the workers at pinks on bissonnet make 20+ pizzas in only a few minutes, and they took and made my order with only a couple extra minutes wait. Bottomline is, in my opinion this location is amazing. I've eaten here well over 10 times and besides one or two minor faults, the place makes me wanna come back. Their management is great too. I have interacted with Daniel many of times and he, along with Mike and Jalen are above par for management. Daniel always goes that extra mile just to make our visit awesome. Try the southwestern or the supremo, those are my faves. They have a lot of solid specialty pies for you to try, don't be scared. read more

I think Pink's is a little overrated. My friends seem to love it. By no means is it bad, it's better than Domino's, but it's nothing to go nuts about. I've been to a Pink's pizza before and thought the experience was decent but this time was different. Having just finished eating I can say that the food was good. I was somewhat disappointed to learn that they don't have any sort of special or meal deals at all but that's fine. What I was not thrilled about was the service on this visit. When taking my dine-in order I was not asked if I wanted anything to drink. I just assumed the stack of cups was for public use and grabbed one. The only thing available was room temperature water and when I asked for some ice I was told that they do not have any...like at all. Then, when I was done ordering they started making my order and just forgot about my buddy standing right there. We were the only two customers in the whole place! This wasn't the worst experience ever and they weren't out-right rude but the service was definitely sub-par. With as many pizza places out there I have zero reasons to give this one another chance.
