This place makes great pizza and salads. The interior decor is minimal since this place is geared for mostly take out or delivery. They do have about five tables. The food comes out quick and delicious. My wife enjoyed a greek salad with lots of crisp veggies and hunks of grilled chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed two pieces of a 12" pie....the super deluxe...every topping they could find plus extra cheese but no anchovies or chicken.....I could barely eat two slices! I have some tasty leftovers for a couple more meals. Very good prices and service. Order at the counter and take a seat for a short wait. We'll be back! read more

We went in there a week ago for takeout, and there apparently was no manager available. Also, the "staff" was very lackadaisical and unprofessional. For workers to be eating at a table when a customer walks in, is horrible for the image of the company. Even if the place is not busy, if workers are going to be paid for their time, they should be doing some sort of work, and not everyone sitting down eating and on their phones. We can certainly understand if they do not have a break room, and an employee needs to take a break, but not the entire staff all at the same time! Also, they need to learn some customer service skills. Anyone can learn how to make the food, but if they want to keep their business, they need to learn fast how to take care of their customers. After reading other negative reviews, we see why the place was almost empty! In addition, the food was not that good. Note to Bellaire residents: Save your money and go someplace else. Definitely not worth it. If employees are pre-occupied and do not even have the courtesy to assist a customer, they do not deserve to be working there! It was unfortunate that the manager was unavailable. We are letting all of our friends and family know not to go there. The place was small and had a few tables. read more

A custom pizza with nothing but green olives and cheese on it is amazing and very underrated. Their delivery is very reliable, and their prices are reasonable for what you get. Firehouse Pizza has several 3rd party delivery options but called just to see if they offered it themselves and the gentleman who answered told me he could deliver it himself Ordered the super deluxe- he was good to make sure I knew what all toppings were included cause it's ALL. I like pineapple in the right combo but left it off here cause was not feeling it. Delivery arrived a few minutes later than estimated but I was so busy at work I actually forgot I ordered. Delivery was super friendly and he was really excited for me to enjoy my pie. I love when people are this passionate about their product and even more so when the product lives up to expectation. He confirmed my order was correct and then told me I would love it which I DID! I was hungry, but not famished. After the 3rd bite I knew I'd leave a review. My only disappointment was that I wasn't hungry enough to eat it all! It was so hot, and fresh! The sauce and the dough were amazing. The balance of toppings was perfection. Wish I took a pic first but I didn't even anticipate that I'd post a review. Pic still looks yummy imo, but no matter how yummy you think it looks- it tastes even better than that. With a parade going on and streets blocked in the area, my hungry stomach seeing a truck selling pizza was a good thing. They certainly smelled good and the pie I bought from this gent looked great on top. Five minutes later, my first bite was very meh. I have tried delivery pizza from small places before with mixed reausts. Firehouse did a good job. First the Cesar salad was delicious. Great flavor. Next, the wings were very good. We had the mild wings. They were not really saucy but crispy with a great flavor. Big recommend. Last, the pizza was very good. Made our own combo which came out the same price as specalty, but with more toppings. Pizza was last to be eaten, and expected bottom to be soggy (as most do after sitting for a little while). The bottom was a little limp but still crispy and the crust had a little sweetness to it. My thumbs up to Firehouse. read more

Really enjoy the pizza here. First of all, they are a super clean and you can see them making the pizza. The staff wears masks and gloves and customers are required to wear masks. The pizza is great. Well, I'm always willing to give the local guys a try, so I figured why not when I saw this place- I didn't feel like cooking tonight anyways. Also, I noticed a disturbing lack of reviews for this place online and most of the time it was the same review posted on a bunch of different places. You walk in and if it wasn't for the hot oven radiating the place, I'd have thought it was shut down. The concrete floors is cracked and shows evidence that at one time there was tile, long since scraped up. There's a cooler when you enter where you would think drinks would be-nope, empty, not turned on. There's one of those 25 cent candy machines but who knows how long the skittles have been here. There is *SOME* semblance of them not just being a front for whatever. As the name implies, they have Firehouse pictures and it looks like the lot they are in used to be a fire station as some pictures indicate. Ok, so the ambiance isn't quite there-that's alright-I'm here for the pizza. I called in my order and the guy said 10 minutes. I walked in about fifteen minutes later expecting to pick it up and I see the girl behind the counter putting the pepperoni on my pizza (ordered the powerhouse pepperoni). Confused, I ask where my pizza is at-she says she's making it. I say "Oh, I called 15 minutes ago and the guy that answered said 'ten minutes'" She shook her head and said "He always says ten minutes." So I waited and started drafting this review! Got the pizza very quickly after that and took it home. Powerhouse pepperoni-holy crap they weren't kidding. They seriously loaded every square inch with a slice of pepperoni. Some people might like that. In fact, my wife LOVES pepperoni and I do too. However, this was a gut bomb waiting to happen. I tried one slice and it was pretty greasy. So I went to take the pepperoni off of another slice. Welp, the pepperoni slice came off, along with every other slice AND the cheese, leaving behind a slice of pizza with absolutely nothing on it except for a bit of sauce, a lot of grease, and a soggy crust soaked with more grease. Alright, so maybe it was my fault ordering a powerhouse pepperoni and not expecting them to completely overdo the pepperoni-I'll take that hit. So the consistency of the pizza-it's really not bad all in all. It tastes similar to Sbarros in the mall or Papa Gino's for those from New England. Once again, not bad-but nothing to write home about. Also, the large pizza, since it was a specialty-was $16. Way more than you would spend at most other places. Will I go back? Probably not. I like to support the local guys, but after trying this place, La Fresca pizza, and Angelo's pizza by my house-I'm out of local guys. read more
