When you enter The establishment you are immediately aware of the great aromas coming from the kitchen. After walking through some tables and chairs, I was greeted at the counter by a friendly hello and 'how can I help you?' I asked a number of questions concerning the menu. I knew there was pizza but I wanted to know more about their sandwiches and salads. I found out that they do have daily / weekly specials that are a great value. I decided to order a special small Italian sausage pizza and an order of six nude chicken wings with ranch dip on the side. I sat down and waited for the order to be completed. There were a few people at some tables finishing up their lunch. While I was there the phone was constantly ringing with takeout orders. The walls had simple decorations that created a nice ambiance. When my order was called, I was given instructions on how to carry the bag as to not disturb the toppings and cheese on the pizza. As I walked, the smell of the fresh pizza and wings was enticing. The wings were just as I ordered. I enjoyed that they have not been overcooked. The wings were tender and moist. The ranch dressing dipping sauce was a great choice. I look forward to trying some of their other homemade sauces. The Italian Sausage Pizza was cooked just the way I like it. The crust had a nice crisp bottom and great flavor. The toppings of olive and onion were a perfect combination with the Italian sausage. I was happy that I ordered the small size rather than the mini so that I could enjoy some cold pizza the next day. Great flavor even on day two. On another trip I ordered the Italian Grinder Sandwich and a large Antipasto Salad. The salad was full of flavor and fresh vegetables and meats. The sandwich was huge. More ingredients than I expected with a great Italian flavor, the bread was incredible as well. I tried the sandwich both cold and hot and both ways the flavor was the star of this sandwich. I look forward to coming back and enjoying some of the other items on their menu. Fresh pastas are next on my list of things to try. I anticipate that whatever I order will be exceptional!

Fortunately I got there before noon before it got too crowded. Everything was good, fresh and tasty. The only thing is they didn't offer me extra peppers or seasonings like they do at most other pizza shops. I love the pizza box and it makes a great additional decor in the kitchen.

They only have outdoor seating, which gives the place a nice vibe. What doesn't give a good vibe is the service. I honestly don't know if I came in on the wrong day, but it was some of the worst customer service I've experienced. It's a pizza place. The girl who took our order was incredibly rude and had such an attitude toward me and my friend. It was my first time there, and she was the type of person who made you feel dumb for asking questions. My friend asked if they had garlic sauce, and instead of simply answering, she responded with, "We never had that," and listed ranch and the other sauces with an attitude. Then she said something under her breath that I couldn't hear clearly. I thought she said there was a 3-hour wait, so we asked for clarification. She responded with even more attitude. At that point, I honestly wasn't even interested in the pizza anymore. The owner was standing at the end of the counter. The place is very small, so either he didn't hear how she was treating customers, or he allows it. This is a business. Getting an attitude with someone who's simply trying to order a pizza is crazy. Even when our food was ready, the employee just set the plates down like she was annoyed we were there. The pizza was good, but the customer service was so bad that I wouldn't come back.

I've had a lot of pizza from New York City, to Italy, to many destinations in between and this crust is up there as some of the best especially to be based in California. That being said, I've had better pizza. The sauce really left something to be desired. It was underwhelming and a bit bland. The wow factor was definitely missing and sauce tends to really make or break a good slice of pizza. Same goes for the cheese used...It just lacked that yummy cheesy goodness you usually anticipate when you bite into a slice and it didn't help that they were a little skimpy with how much cheese they put on their pizza. I think this place would be phenomenal if they took the time to nail the sauce down and really invested in good quality cheese. They're so close just missing the mark on the flavor. The crust absolutely saves them from being bad but it still made it just an "okay" slice of pizza. The staff at the order window were friendly and helpful. The environment could use a little cleaning but overall it seems like it reflected the hipster/ quick eats vibe they're going for and it works for their business. Try this spot out and judge for yourself.

I usually call ahead for a couple of slices, and normally it's quick and easy. This time I was in a rush, which is exactly why I called ahead. I showed up several minutes later expecting to quickly grab my order, only to find out that it had never even been put in. Mistakes happen, and I would have been completely understanding about that. What bothered me was how rude and dismissive the employee was when I asked about the order. There was no apology or effort to address the mistake. Instead, I was treated like I was the problem for asking about an order I had already called in. I've been married to an Italian woman for years and have eaten sandwiches from Little Italy's all over the states to many in Italy as well, so I was definitely interested to order some sandwiches and giving this place a go. This small shop doesn't have much seating, but it does have a counter to sit at as well as a small section of pasta, sauces, drinks, and various other things for you to purchase when you walk in. The menu here isn't massie, but you don't really need it to be at an Italian sandwich shop so who cares? I ended up ordering the Chicken Confit which description is "Our newest sandwich! Dark meat chicken sourced from Cream Co. Meats, confited in olive oil, then tossed it with an orange-Calabrian chili agrodolce spiked with fennel seed and garlic that's bright, deeply savory, a touch spicy, and a little addictive. It all comes together with spicy arugula and tangy pecorino Toscano on a Bub & Grandma's baguette.". The sandwich was about $15 and I gotta say, it's not very big and it didn't really do the job of filling me up and neither did my wife's. The flavour wasn't bad at all, it was solid enough and I don't have any complaints other then It was simply kind of small for the price. Overall, Ferrazzani's Pasta & Market is fine. I didn't leave blown away by anything, and in fact I was left still kind of wanting to eat. The sandwich was fine, but I don't think the amount of food matches the price and I can't really see myself driving back to Pasadena to give this place another go, but hey, this may be the perfect shop for somebody.

The guy running the joint knew it, too and was so embarrassed he began accosting me as I waited outside the restroom, since it was occupied at that time.
