We stopped in while visiting Tybee Island. They have a good amount of outside seating, so we decided to enjoy the warm March weather. Friendly staff let us choose where we wanted to sit. Lots of outdoor and rooftop seating. We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms. Then, we had the grilled shrimp tacos with aioli and the fried green tomato sandwich. Everything was very tasty and assembled well. The fried green tomatoes had a nice crispy topping and the sandwich had a delicious sauce on it. Tasty fries with it. Very good. It was a pretty good spot in the downtown Tybee area among a lot of mediocre restaurants. This was a good pick if you want a good lunch or dinner near the Tybee pier.

We had a wonderful family dinner here last week. We chose to dine inside. Loved the comfy chairs. Super friendly staff. I decided on the strawberry salad for my dinner. It was delicious and you get a large portion.

This was a nice surprise. Great food, cozy atmosphere and comfy chairs felt great after walking around the pier in the cold. Delish shrimp tacos and my friend loved the crab and shrimp. Great service and more upscale. Loved the experience.

First impression visit on Valentine's Day around 2:00PM. We got the a raspberry Margarita pitcher, rockafeller oysters, clam chowder, Salmon, and shrimp tacos. Our total was about $128. The salmon was excellent. Seared to perfection and cooked at the perfect temperature. The mashed potatoes that came with it were seasoned and flavorful. The clam chowder was delicious. You could tell they made it fresh that day. Great food, great drinks, excellent service. Our waitress was Jesse. She did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable about the menu.

We pivoted and went here after our beach day turned into a rainy day. The service was great and our waitress was awesome. We all like our food for the most part. I had the steamed crab legs and shrimp and it was delicious and we started with the crab dip which I'd absolutely recommend. The only thing that was meh was the oyster Rockefeller. They were just sort of flavorless. Everything else was great!

During my trip to Tybee Island, we stopped at Pier 16 for lunch. There were limited options for vegetarians. We ordered the fried green tomatoes (3/5) and fried shrimp (3/5), which came with coleslaw and fries. Both tasted okay-nothing great, but not too bad. The portions were large. The prices were on the higher side, which is expected for a restaurant located in a touristy beach area. The place was clean, had a cheerful atmosphere, and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive.

Pier 16 is by far one of the best restaurants in Tybee! Their fish tacos were the best I have ever had in my life. They were gluten free safe as well which makes traveling there even better. Do not sleep on this restaurant. Their Cole slaw was amazing as well. Service pretty great too!

While visiting Tybee Island, we wanted to have a seafood meal. We were greeted by the manager and seated inside after a short wait. She visited with us a little, giving us some recommendations. The interior of the restaurant is classy, and there is also lots of outside seating. We started with the shrimp and crab dip, which we did not care for. It had a very fishy/gamey flavor. For my entree, I ordered the crab cake meal. It came with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies, and all of it was very good. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp meal. Pier 16 is a good place for lunch or dinner if you are on Tybee Island.

Amazing Food and a chic beach vibe interior with comfy chairs. The staff were very attentive and very friendly. We couldn't figure out which appetizers to order because they all sounded amazing! We ended up ordering the Southern Fried Green Tomatoes, Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, Crab and Shrimp Dip, Georgia Shrimp and Garlic Parmesan Oysters! All were apps were flavorful and delicious! Joseph our waiter/bartender made KILLER Espresso Martinis! Cheers to Pier 16!

This was probably the most expensive place I've been thus far for what you get. The service was good and the environment is warm and friendly. When you are seated it feels like it's going to be an upscale experience. The drinks were good. I'd go back just for the drinks. The food was ok. I had the crab cake and the ahi tuna salad. The slices of tuna looked like they were cut by a dull knife. The crab cake was more breading than crab. I would go back for drinks not the food.

I made reservations for dinner last night and we were very disappointed. We sat inside and there were flies everywhere. It was so annoying. Our waitress was awesome though. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller as an app and they were overcooked and overpowered by the spinach. Then my boyfriend ordered a filet with corn and mashed potatoes and there was no seasoning! Everything was very bland. I had the steamed seafood and my experience was the same. And I was disgusted to see that the mussels and shrimp were not cleaned properly. Our bill was $200 with tip which was insane for the quality of food we received. We do not recommend this restaurant; there are much better choices on the island or in Savannah.

The food is great, especially the fried green tomatoes. I've never had them like this. We sat on the deck and they were very accommodating to our party when we asked to move away from the blaring speaker so we could talk. Nice restaurant.

We finally found the Best restaurant on Tybee! My wife made reservations here and so glad she did! They have paid street parking all around the restaurant with Tybee parking app. With two bars to accommodate the busy bunch of diners, beverage service and food service was great. I ordered the Cajun grilled Salmon which was perfectly grilled, served on a bed of mashed red bliss potatoes and fresh green beans. A drizzle of cajun sauce was just right. Bachelorette parties, birthdays, and family dining all going on here. They also have rooftop dining. Reservations are highly recommended.

We have been to Tybee many times, and I have to say..this is one of the best atmosphere's and quality meals we have ever had. Not your typical beach restaurant. Better! Absolutely adding to our rotation for future visits! PS they don't take reservations. Large place, you won't wait too long and it's worth it. We had our fill of outside time, so opted for indoors (same amazing oceanview & AC!) Had a great table by the window, could see the ocean. Our server Jenna H. was witty, attentive and had excellent menu recommendations. They were out of wings, and she suggested chicken tenders that she would have them baste in the wing sauce. Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee…read more In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.

Only two of us were drinking so we headed to the bar. The young guy helping us wasn't super helpful, to be honest lol he seemed a little annoyed that we were asking questions and digging into the menu. When we asked questions, he answered but I would have loved to hear his favorites or any sort of recommendations. I opted for a combo that was super ugly but it worked! I was surprised that they also had food on the menu. If they offered food at other Wet Willie's that I've visited, I do not remember lol. This menu included some classic favorites such as wings, tacos and quesadillas. We tried all of the above as well as their sliders. The food was actually good. Maybe not Michelin star ready, but tasty! I appreciated that a gentleman, (who I assume is the manager) came by each table checking in on us and our experience.
