We pivoted and went here after our beach day turned into a rainy day. The service was great and our waitress was awesome. We all like our food for the most part. I had the steamed crab legs and shrimp and it was delicious and we started with the crab dip which I'd absolutely recommend. The only thing that was meh was the oyster Rockefeller. They were just sort of flavorless. Everything else was great!

This was a nice surprise. Great food, cozy atmosphere and comfy chairs felt great after walking around the pier in the cold. Delish shrimp tacos and my friend loved the crab and shrimp. Great service and more upscale. Loved the experience.

During my trip to Tybee Island, we stopped at Pier 16 for lunch. There were limited options for vegetarians. We ordered the fried green tomatoes (3/5) and fried shrimp (3/5), which came with coleslaw and fries. Both tasted okay-nothing great, but not too bad. The portions were large. The prices were on the higher side, which is expected for a restaurant located in a touristy beach area. The place was clean, had a cheerful atmosphere, and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive.

This was probably the most expensive place I've been thus far for what you get. The service was good and the environment is warm and friendly. When you are seated it feels like it's going to be an upscale experience. The drinks were good. I'd go back just for the drinks. The food was ok. I had the crab cake and the ahi tuna salad. The slices of tuna looked like they were cut by a dull knife. The crab cake was more breading than crab. I would go back for drinks not the food.

While visiting Tybee Island, we wanted to have a seafood meal. We were greeted by the manager and seated inside after a short wait. She visited with us a little, giving us some recommendations. The interior of the restaurant is classy, and there is also lots of outside seating. We started with the shrimp and crab dip, which we did not care for. It had a very fishy/gamey flavor. For my entree, I ordered the crab cake meal. It came with mashed potatoes and sautéed veggies, and all of it was very good. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp meal. Pier 16 is a good place for lunch or dinner if you are on Tybee Island.

We had wonderful food, sat upstairs on the deck under the umbrella. The breeze was lovely. Our servers Alexis and Preston were awesome. Such wonderful service!

The food is great, especially the fried green tomatoes. I've never had them like this. We sat on the deck and they were very accommodating to our party when we asked to move away from the blaring speaker so we could talk. Nice restaurant.

I made reservations for dinner last night and we were very disappointed. We sat inside and there were flies everywhere. It was so annoying. Our waitress was awesome though. We started with the Oysters Rockefeller as an app and they were overcooked and overpowered by the spinach. Then my boyfriend ordered a filet with corn and mashed potatoes and there was no seasoning! Everything was very bland. I had the steamed seafood and my experience was the same. And I was disgusted to see that the mussels and shrimp were not cleaned properly. Our bill was $200 with tip which was insane for the quality of food we received. We do not recommend this restaurant; there are much better choices on the island or in Savannah.

We finally found the Best restaurant on Tybee! My wife made reservations here and so glad she did! They have paid street parking all around the restaurant with Tybee parking app. With two bars to accommodate the busy bunch of diners, beverage service and food service was great. I ordered the Cajun grilled Salmon which was perfectly grilled, served on a bed of mashed red bliss potatoes and fresh green beans. A drizzle of cajun sauce was just right. Bachelorette parties, birthdays, and family dining all going on here. They also have rooftop dining. Reservations are highly recommended.

This was the absolute best dining experience -- food, service, etc -- that we had while on Tybee. And we ate at more than half a dozen locations. The restaurant has a number of pluses even before you dine here: -- they take reservations -- they have a variety of seating options: outside patio; inside patio; rooftop; and inside in air conditioning -- they have two bars --there's parking (pay by app) located around the outside of the restaurant Once you are here, staff is excellent. Friendly and welcome and accommodating. Derek our server was very good -- personable and efficient. The food was wonderful. We started by sharing some crab stuffed mushrooms. They needed a bit of salt, which we added, but were a good starter. My husband had the Cajun grilled salmon. The slightly spicy sauce was drizzled on the plate. The salmon was served atop red bliss mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. He said it was very good. I had their whole fried flounder. I left off the mango chutney (I'm allergic). And added a squeeze of lemon and salt. The fish was wonderful -- light and flaky. The batter was crispy and very thin. The fish is served without the head and one side is scored for easy eating. If you know how to eat a whole fish like this, you know to gently eat one side, and then flip it over. All that was left on my plate was the spine! The flounder was served over red bliss mashed potatoes and al dente fresh green beans (the seasonal veggie). Even the sides were very good. For dessert, we shared their flourless chocolate cake. It was rich, dense, and fudgy. A good bit of sweetness. This is the place I'll be highly recommending if anyone asks me where to go for a great meal experience on Tybee. It's a big step above your casual local haunt, but don't worry, as you don't have to dress up here if you don't want to do so. Very glad we had the opportunity to dine here. And hope to return next time we are on Tybee.

Went to Tybee Island for the day with my mom and we stopped at this place for lunch! We loved it and had such wonderful service. We went on a Monday and were seated right away outside. We split the pimento cheese appetizer and then I got the Santa Fe salad and she got a chicken sandwich. Both things were excellent. The pimento cheese was pretty mild, but hot and really good. The chicken on the salad was seasoned to perfection, and the buttermilk ranch dressing was delicious. Overall, definitely recommend if you go to Tybee Island for the day! They also had some extremely sweet sweet tea, which was very enjoyable.

We had a lovely lunch at Pier 16 today. The server was friendly and attentive. The air conditioning felt great inside on a hot day though the outdoor seating looked like a lot of fun maybe for the evening. I had the Strawberry Pecan Salad and my husband had the Fried Ousters and fries. Both were large portions and excellent!

Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee…read more In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.
