Do not get the coffee at Sea Wolf Tybee. In Sea Wolf's defense, our server told me as such. I ordered coffee, and he practically begged me not to. "Imagine Folgers... but worse," he said. I grew up on Eight O'Clock coffee--the only brand worse than Folgers-- so opted to brave the drip from Sea Wolf Tybee. How bad could it really be? Really bad. The Sea Wolf Tybee coffee was really, really, bad. The owners have made a deal with the barrier island devil where their successful establishment came at the expense of serving the worst coffee on earth. The coffee wasn't just bland, it was reeking with flavor, as if a tybee island horseshoe crab has been decaying in the coffee pot since the eatery was established in 2020. The server tried his hardest to prevent this 4-star review by warning me about the coffee, and in his defense the taste is not why I deducted Sea Wolf Tybee one star. I deducted one star because the vile 12oz cup of black drip coffee was $5 dollars. Like any diner at a lunch spot, I did not check the coffee's price before ordering it, assuming it'd be the standard $2-3 dollars. Even specialty coffee shops max their drip coffee prices at $4.50. Instead, Sea Wolf Tybee has opted to charge $5, rake-in a 95% profit margin, and exploit the trust of patrons who assume a cup of joe won't cost as much as Georgia's hourly minimum wage. I'm a former barista and coffee-lover, and $5 is the most expensive drip coffee I have ever encountered. Sea Wolf Tybee had outdone itself--the bill was more nauseating than the coffee.
Food was pretty good. I got the Chicago dog with beyond meat and it was really good! The elote was on the cob and the as pretty good as well. The veggie curry eggplant dish was a bit salty but tasty! Service was good. Ambiance was so fun and we loved all the hot dog references and decor. The drinks were really good. I got the cucumber refresher I believe and it was so good!
Vibes + food is always top tier. Thoroughly enjoyed the glizzy & Chicago dog. Good ingredients - service is awesome. Come on the weekends for music - inside is decorated nice + moody
Excellent spot on Tybee all the way around. Small dive feel, casual and incredibly friendly. Great bar menu with plenty of wines and beers and some seriously good cocktails (including rotating seasonal specials). 3 of our party for the Remember the Maine and loved it. Menu has a clear focus on a several diff go to dog options, along with other sando and plated selections. Don't sleep on them oysters either! We have a fantastic dinner with a fish dip app plus 3 of the 4 oysters featured. Split an Italian dog and a chicken thigh sando that was incredible. Extra props for being knowledgeable and giving a damn about food allergies as well. Incredible service from several diff staff members throughout the meal. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
This place has attitude, in all the right ways. Quirky, creative menu - all executed with care. Tonight was oyster night, Tybee Salt Bombs we're our choice along with the charcuterie "Big Board" and finishing with the peach crumble
Interesting menu options; hot dogs and oysters. We tried the following: Tybee Salt Bombs (TYB) small, high salinity Naked Jade (AL) small, high salinity Bull River (SAV) med, low salinity Beausoleil (PEI) med, med salinity None met my expectations except the Bull River as they all had low salinity and were small. Not a huge fan of the above options. I was hoping for additional oyster options and possibly a few cooked options oyster Rockefeller. We also ordered the Classic Dog; wagyu beef with dill relish, pickled onion, ketchup, mustard, kewpie mayo which was devoured within a few minutes. I personally ordered the Fun-Guy Boy; wagyu beef, mushroom pâté, pickled jalapenos, fried onions, roasted red pepper aioli, parsley. Interesting items on a hot dog but they all meshed well together and the bun was buttery and delicious. The hot dogs came with a side of chips; regular or voodoo. I opted for the voodoo. We also ordered the Chilled Poke Bowl with seared tofu, sesame ginger marinade, edamame, carrots, cucumber, brown rice, wasabi aioli & nori komi furikake and my friend said it was good. I can only take her word because she ate it all. As for the cocktails we ordered the Margarita at the Mall and a Painkiller. I personally did not like the margarita it did not taste like anything I've ever tried before. The painkiller was a hit. All in all. Service was average. We ordered, our food came and we paid. Nothing special. However the atmosphere was beach and cute; very laid back environment. All in all I would try them again because the menu frequently changes and the vibe was chill and laidback. As a bonus if you are looking for vegan options this is a go to spot for sure.
We had a disappointing dinner here. The best thing about the place was its eclectic decor. The decorations are charming. It's set off the beaten track near the post office in a converted cottage house. They don't have a telephone so there are no reservations. The restaurant has an outside (uncovered) patio area with tables and inside there's a small bar and closely placed tables. You will enjoy looking at all the wall hangings, photos, artwork, and collectibles. Service was also decent. Most folks nearby enjoyed their oysters before other options. We'd had so much seafood the past few days, that what appealed about their menu was the Wagyu hot dogs. We each ordered the classic wagyu which came with a choice of toppings and a choice of potato chips -- voodoo or salt. Unfortunately, they were delivered lukewarm. And tasted like they'd been boiled. They did offer to replace it when I mentioned the temp, but l didn't think it would help. And as my husband said, he preferred the $1.50 Costco hot dog he had a couple weeks ago better. We would have gotten dessert, but didn't want to chance it, so we ate and left. It's still a different experience on island, but it wasn't for us.
It's definitely offseason but being in the area for work, I still came to visit Tybee for the nostalgic value. This was a great place to have some dinner. The decor and vibe of this place is absolutely fantastic. It's very funky and fun in all of the best ways. And the best part is that the staff, is equally as awesome. They are super friendly, very knowledgeable on the menu, and eager to help in any way possible. The food while it seems simple with "hot dogs and seafood " is next level. Everything tasted extremely unique, very freshly prepared, and was very reasonably priced. I'm glad that I was here during the off-season because I'm sure during peak season, this place is hard to get into. Either way, I would definitely recommend and return.
Fabulous spot. Inside is cozy and classy, with little nooks, comfortable seating, lots of corner snugs. It's clearly a locals favorite, but open and welcoming to visitors like us. The maitre d'hotel is right on top of his game, as are the wait staff. We largely eat plant-based, so we were thrilled to have many options on the menu to choose from. We dined here twice: once seated inside, and once seated outside, which was also inviting, with lots of cushions. It is not easy to keep an outdoor space immaculate, but this restaurant does. We had the French dip with portobello mushroom and real provolone, as well as the Elotes dog with beyond sausage. We both had a cocktail - I had the margarita at the mall, which was divine. I literally moaned out loud when I ate my French dip it was so delicious. The Wolf Bowl is full of crunch and flavor - we polished it off with gusto. The chips that accompany the "dogs" are tasty and fresh - our waitress gave us a container to pack them up for beach the next day with a smile - we wanted to save room for dessert, and that was the right choice both times. When we were waiting for a table, a guest ahead of us was anticipating the oysters, a speciality of the house. We overheard another guest talking to staff about the oysters expected, and when. (I don't eat oysters myself, so I did not follow it closely, but this is definitely the place to go for seafood - they are getting the catch fresh, and they know precisely who they are getting it from. ) My husband ordered a mojito, which was not on the menu. The bartender came out to apologize, "we don't have mint, but we might have some in the front garden, is that okay?" She ran out to the front of the yard, picked fresh mint, and my husband had his mojito. I miss this place already.
What a fun place. The patio is pet friendly and they have citronella candles on the tables for the mosquitos. However, the food was good. We did have to wait a bit but it wasn't that long. Very divey inside. I do wish they had a screened in patio because the mosquitos were biting! Food was good. Small nachos was enough for 1 person. They did run out of pork so I had chicken. The bbq sauce is a Carolina bbq sauce so wasn't a fan of that.
I had gone to another place for oysters on Tybee Island and was disappointed... This place has the most stars on yelp and good reviews for oysters so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. Boy am I glad we did! This place did not disappoint!! The restaurant is small, but cute with an eclectic atmosphere and smells so yummy . They have a few signature cocktails. My bf got their take on the old fashioned, Richard Rum, but wasn't a fan. It's made with rum instead of whisky. If you like gin, I recommend the zippah. It pairs well with the oysters. You can choose your own oysters. They locally source them from NC, SC, MA & VA. We chose the only oysters with high salinity (I believe they were from NC). The oysters were tiny however they tasted amazing and they paired nicely with the sauces they came with (wasabi, apple cider vinegar & cocktail sauce). We were still hungry after that so I ordered dips & pickles. It comes with toasted bread. All the dips were amazing on their own, with the bread and paired on the bread Still hungry and bc they smelled so good, we both got a backyard brat. Weird that a place has oysters and glizzies but it works! The brat was good, but a little too soft imo. I like my hotdogs and brats with a little char from the grill, but the toppings and pretzel bun made the flavors pop. All the staff we encountered were nice even though we arrived about 40 mins to closing time which is 10 pm. Unsure if they stay open longer in the summer. The waitress was nice and attentive. If you're looking for good food and a nice atmosphere, I highly recommend this place off the beaten path on the north side of the island.
Amazing, phenomenal service! This has to be one of the best server experiences that I've ever received. From the moment we approached the hostess, the service was impeccable. The hostess was kind and sweet. Once we were seated, our server was attentive, open to answering questions and willing to accommodate our needs. The drinks were delicious! I highly recommend ordering The Pink Squirrel, whenever it's on the menu. Of course, I ordered the famous Glizzy dog and it did not disappoint! The crab dip, oof! So good!! And the Wedge Salad was very tasty. Honestly, don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu. The overall vibes were cute. Would love to return during brunch service and on a warmer day to sit outside. The Sea Wolf is definitely a vibe and I was all for it!
This place is adorable! Just adorable, no food was eaten ( we were starving ) -lol .... This is a wine bar that sales hotdogs-lol

Guy Fieri would approve: Sea Wolf Tybee's Wagyu beef hot dog with "sea wolf" chili, microgreens, and a cilantro‑chorizo cream sauce was everything a gourmet dog should be--rich, layered, and totally worth the trip. Easily my best hot dog of 2026. The space is small and cool, and the staff makes you feel special. Our waiter and waitress were incredibly aware of every need, from refills to timing. If you like craft hot dogs with restaurant‑level execution, this place is a must‑try on Tybee. read more

The cutest, whimsical place! The staff was friendly and informative. Helpful and fun! The vibe was everything. Relaxing yet energetic at the same time. The decor was a dream! The food was literally amazing! Delicious! Peel and eat shrimp was so packed with flavor, the baguette was *chefs kiss* perfect! I had the chilli cheese glizzy and it was mouth wateringly tasty! I ate the entire thing! Everything except the key lime pie was wonderful. We ordered it to go and once we were to the room and about to have some it just did not look good at all. So we didn't have any- it looked a little expired. So we passed on trying it. Otherwise everything was wonderful! read more

Fantastic! Unique! Great SERVICE! The food is creative and the menu changes regularly. There is always something for everyone to try. One of our favorite outdoor dining locations. We love to have our Mini Bernedoodle join us and Sea Wolf is extremely pet friendly. They are so courteous and had Delilah a water bowl without us having to ask. This is worth the drive out from Savannah or a MUST if you are staying on Tybee. Thank you for being so great! Tammy read more

10000% worth the drive from Savannah to Tybee. While I'm not a hotdog eater, this place is known for hotdogs and seafood. The interior is small and eclectic in decor and I loved it! Our table ordered the pickled plate - pickled onion, shallots, cucumber, radishes? - who knew this would be such a hit! Everything was surprising on this plate, made sense, and just was delicious. I went for the peel 'n eat shrimp - 1 pound thank you very much. So good! The shrimp were huge and the broth was extremely flavorful - I saved my bread to dip into it. Our server was so friendly and helpful. read more

Best vegan grub on the island in my humble opinion. We visited 2x on our 6 day trip to Tybee. The menu changes frequently so while you may not find these exact options, based on the quality of all the food we tried, I feel sure you'll enjoy what you get! Vegan hot dogs (beyond brats) with unique toppings. One with vegan pimento cheese (yes). Lions mane mushroom cakes (think crabcake vibes). Various amazing appetizers. Theeee best chocolate mousse (vegan, duh) for dessert. Service is nice, chill, quick. Atmosphere is SO CUTE. Lots of plants, all the vibes, disco balls, neon signs. Beachy artsy hipster. read more

We came here for drinks after a beach day. Our bartender was amazing! I'll def come back for food- but this review is strictly based on the bar. This is a smaller bar, so if it's a busy season be mindful with seating. There's also space to sit at high tops outside with your drinks, which is always welcomed in nice weather. Some drinks were also fairly priced- I hope this lasts, but we know inflation won't let us thrive. It's a little secluded too, not on the beach or by any other busy areas. The hotdogs looked amazing, couldn't bring myself to pay $18 for a hotdog- but I have a feeling I will now that I had their well priced drinks. read more

Ok...so I was so curious about Sea Wolf. It did NOT disappoint. As soon as we pulled in, I was smitten. It was quaint and perfectly adorned with quirky decor. There also seemed to be a shop cat which I loved. Adrian was our server and she was a total sweetheart! My friend ordered a mocktail. It was ginger based with an almond syrup if I remember correctly. It was fantastic. I ordered oysters to start. 4 Tybee oysters and 4 from SC. They were salty and sweet and chilled to perfection. I had the salmon dip as my entree and it was so great, the bread that it was served with was hot and buttery. Both of my friends got the Glizzy dogs, omg, they looked sooo good. Everything about this dining experience was perfect. I've been telling everyone at home in Louisville about this place. I'll definately be back on my next visit! read more

Ambiance - 10/10, love the commitment to the hot dog theme. I wish I could live there Food - 10/10, nothing like the combination of hot dogs, oysters, and champagne. Something about the hot dog buns is so delish Service - 10/10, feels like home All in all, I can't wait to return to this magical establishment....every visit keeps getting better read more
