The paper plate pizza art is outstanding. We brought our own crayons and asked what we could do to get ours on the wall. The guy behind the counter gave us some plates and said to give them to him when we finished and he would decide which ones were the winners. Solid slices with a really good variety of toppings. The sauce is super fresh tasting and bright, the cheese is good quality and flavorful. The crust is thin and a little too dense for my taste but still a good slice. Had the the pepperoni and the Greek, a white pie slice that was Sooooo GOOD. They make amazing cookies too. Purposely tried pizza here to compare it to the Famous Pizza I tried down the street a week or so before. Loved the thin crust, roasted pepper and basil pizza. They have such a great variety of options, I wanted to try three different ones, but I ended up saving room since we went back to The Famous Pizza place right after to do a direct comparison. Pizza-wise we liked this place better, however cleanliness factor was not as good. Vibe here was more laid back. Decor was a bit wild for me. it was dark in the sitting area with graffiti on the wall. Pinball machine. Will go back again to compare to other pizza places in the nearby area :) read more

Dive bar meets pizza place and they hit if off instantly. The pizza is great - they serve by the slice and rotate flavors. I had a vegan mango slice once and it was delish. They have $1 cans of PBR all day everyday. The decor is kinda crusty but it's a cheap pizza place on SoBo - what do you expect? I find myself ending my nights here more and more. I used to go to Atomic Cowboy but this place is so cheap, I keep coming back. read more

Ordered some pizza from them back in February through DoorDash. Come August, DoorDash seems to have used this order as a pretext for silently signing me up for a recurring monthly charge without my consent. So over the period of six to nine months months after I ate the food I ordered, DoorDash went ahead and started charging me another thirty dollars for it. You might say that it was DoorDash and not Pie Hole who screwed me over. I say that if Pie Hole hadn't been doing business with these slimebags, I'd be thirty dollars richer right now, and that the delivery company they chose to do business with basically doubled the price of the order. (Yelp's guidelines say that shouldn't "rant" about "irrelevancies" in a review, but I cannot think of anything more "central to the consumer experience" then the fact that an authorized subcontractor basically doubled the price of my order six months after the fact.) I also think that delivery is an essential business function for a pizza place, and that if they choose to let someone else do it, then they're responsible for the actions of the company they chose to perform this function for them. The pizza was OK, though the toppings sure were skimpy for the price. (It also didn't help that the pizza was cold by the time that their authorized delivery service managed to get it to me.) read more

Food: their pizza was delicious as I love my pizza thin and crispy Andy cheese perfectly melted. Service: The staff here was a pleasure to work with. I ordered my pizza over the phone and they built my pizza in 15 minutes. Made to order! Late hours: love the fact that this is open after midnight, which is perfect for a night owl like myself. I lived in NYC off and on for 10 Years and have lived in Denver for 8 years. Pie Hole Pizza is the closest to any NYC pizza I have ever had in Denver. It simply is the best and no one else has come close. The crust is perfect and the sauce is spot on!! Thank You PH!! read more

This place used to be great for easy, fairly good , almost NY style pizza. Now a simple large pizza with two toppings is $37 and it's flimsy crust then put in a not well made box so is cold by the time you get it home. When I asked why it was so expensive, I was told it was because it was a custom pizza. All I ordered was half pepperoni and half sausage. How is that custom? This is the last time we go here. It was dead when I walked in and one server said it's been like this and people are too broke. Well yes, if pizza is going to cost almost $40 here where you can get the same thing somewhere else for nearly half the price, I could imagine people going broke if they eat here. The sad part is we didn't eat the whole pizza and I didn't even want to refrigerate it to have as leftovers because it just didn't taste good. read more

I only discovered this place six weeks or so ago, and have already ordered from them three times. Yeah, I need to cook more at home, but I've been traveling a lot which means I'm a lazy chef. I've tried the Margheritah Etah once (excellent) and the amazing Thai Chicken twice. Damn, I want that Thai Chicken pizza right now. NOW. It's amazing. Now, the pizzas are huge, so be warned that those of you with a counter depth fridge will need to make other arrangements for your slices. The box will not fit in your fridge. :) They don't always have drivers available at odd hours during the day, but I'm guessing that's because they do most of their business by the slice in the shop. The staff are very friendly and are willing to take your order and send it out when the driver arrives (they've always been able to tell us when that will be). Regardless, the pizza is worth waiting for. It's that good. Try it. read more

It was a cold night, we were walking out of an improv show down the street and immediately drawn in to Pie Hole by the warmth and smell. We entered and saw the walls were covered with paper plate drawings, the slices of pizzas named after Molly Ringwald movies, and half a dozen pinball machines. This place has some character. There was a small line but it went quick and after 2 minutes and $6 me and my fiance each had a large, specialty slice of pizza in our hands. I love a little heat so got a slice with jalepenos on it, the jalepenos werent de-seeded so more of a kick than I expected. But overall tasted better than it looked so I'll be back next time I'm on Broadway and need a quick munchie. read more

Pie hole is definitely the place to go when you want pizza. Nothing fancy schmancy- just downright dirty pizza- in a good way that is. This is a no fuss place- the pizza is there waiting for you, you order it, they throw it in the oven to heat that baby right back up and they slap it on a plate for you and then the rest is history. Must Try: Potato Bacon- It's delicious that's why. We ordered a couple slices of Sausage, Pepperoni, and Thai Chicken. All were delicious but the real winner is the Potato Bacon- I've never had anything quite like it. It's so simple and yet it totally does the trick. The place definitely had character that's for sure. It's covered from ceiling to floor with Pizza influenced art work. Oh and there's pinball machines as well... I like this little spot because it's very roomy and it's open literally until 3am! Pizza, friends, beer and Wall outlets for your dying phone. Seriously what is missing? I stayed here all night with my girls and felt younger than young because it was a millennial central. The pizza looks comparable to most other chains like Anthony's because the slices are thin and wide and have most toppings like Anthony's.
