I wanted to take the time to update my review. The best part? Nothing has changed. Still super delish, large, fresh portions.

No complaints whatsoever! This food was amazing and the seasonings they have on their meats are just so delicious! The employees here are very friendly and easy to order from and give you good options. Would absolutely come back again and recommend. This is a hidden gem and I mean that literally and figuratively. It's inside the gas station so don't be confused or disappointed if you don't see the sign right away. Just walk in!

Who would've known a gas station hid such a hidden gem! As you walk in you are immediately smacked with the fresh smell of steak on the grill freshly prepared for a wrap and the fried falafel fresh and crispy!!

This is one of my absolutely favorites for lunch for the lamb shawarma in either a pita or as a plate. I love everything you can put with it especially the sauces, it's always so messy and so flavorful. The service from the guy who runs it can be rude sometimes, and if not rude then dismissive, hence why I took a star, but since I'm not eating there it doesn't bother me. If you want the best bang for your buck I suggest the combo plate where you get any two meats for like $14 or 15 and it's enough to last you probably lunch and dinner. It's hard to come by this place because it's hidden in a shell station with not much information online, but it's always busy and if you are ever near on rte 116, definitely check it out

Fantastic little gem!! The food was fresh and made right in front of us. Mario was a true delight and made the food perfectly as we chatted. We will absolutely be back! Thanks Mario!

All this for around 22$. Easy worth the money.

OMG, the shawarma, the hummus, the grape leaves! Generally when someone who resides in New England tells me a thing is spicy, I take that with more than a few grains of salt. That said, the beef shawarma is, in fact, delightfully spicy. The hummus is so citrusy and flavorful, and the nice guy who works there will let you try it for free, along with all the other delicious sauces. (Don't sleep on that lemon garlic sauce they have.) The food is reasonably priced. I got 8 oz of hummus, 6 grape leaves, and a beef shawarma plate including salad and rice for around $22. He even threw in some bread for my hummus. I haven't walked out of a restaurant smiling in a while, but I did from this one.

I had the make your own bowl with falafel, basmati rice, along with various toppings and sauces. It took us a while to be served as there was only one employee making the food and cashing people out. The food itself was good. I particularly liked the falafel as I felt they were very moist. I will say that either they need to fill the bowls more or make the bowls smaller. The portions seemed tiny. Even though it was a Sunday for lunch we were able to find a table quickly. The table was a little dirty but nothing too surprising and when I was finished with my bowl an employee asked if I wanted him to clear my space for me. I thought that was sweet.

Line was cluttered and dirty overall. First crew member was friendly and genuinely apologetic for being out of items on the line (would have been a one star review otherwise). Second crew member was simply pushing people through not even thanking customers for their order when ringing out. Dining area was dirty, I took the last napkin in all of the dispensers. Tables were sticky and trash cans were overflowing. Even after small rush and everyone cleared out no one cleaned tables, took out trash or restocked. Plus didn't even get a pita for my bowl. Will likely use other Cava location in the future. Hopefully just an off night, diners beware!

Being in a pizza community group means I'm always craving pizza…read more Living on the north end of Providence, I have my fair share of choices. But there was one spot nearby I hadn't been to since November and it was high time I went back. That place is Zesty bites. They're located on that last stretch of Smith St before you cross over in North Providence. I always manage to find street parking in the front but there's more around the corner as well. Imad was in there cranking out a HUGE catering order! There were covered pans everywhere, ready and waiting for the client to come and pick up. But that didn't stop Imad from taking a moment to shake my hand and ask how I was doing lately. I didn't want to take up much of his time as his Friday night was just kicking off but he is genuinely a warm and friendly person, you can't help but smile when he smiles. I took home a Pesty Chicken, house pesto with turkey bacon, onions and chicken, plus a hefty slice of his gorgeous baklava. After my 5 minute drive home I got to it immediately. The pesto is herbaceous, salty from the Parmesan. The turkey bacon is not what you find Butterball making but rather, this was of a much higher quality and was an actual piece of sliced meat instead of a formed amalgamation of ground turkey. All of those ingredients sang while being supported by the incredible crust. I don't quite know how to describe it. It's light, fluffy, but crispy. Crunching into the crust scratched a part of my brain I didn't know needed it until I bit into this little slice of heaven! The baklava looked as good as it tasted. Sweet, spiced, and it had this deep flavor I can't quite put my finger on but it's probably top 3 best I've ever had. If you haven't visited Imad and his shop up over on Smith Hill, then you are missing out on a unique and delicious experience. 10/10, great pizza. Great food all around, no matter what you get you'll love it!

Imad runs this small spot in Providence where incredible Lebanese food and pizza coexist. His pizza has that perfect char on the crust, brilliantly simple sauce, and genuine hospitality that feels completely natural, not performed. So when this year's competition rolled around, I came back. Twenty-four places into this month's pizza marathon, we needed to know if Zesty Bites was a one-time thing or if Imad's really doing what I thought he was doing. Turns out, he is. Of course he is. The crust still delivers. Crunchy exterior, chewy interior. Imad's dough artistry hasn't changed. His sauce is fresh and flavorful, built from simple, super fresh ingredients that deliver big taste. No tricks. High quality cheese and pepperoni blend together for a pie that just delivers a little bit of magic to your mouth. Same five tables. Same warm welcome. Imad's still treating customers like they are family who just walked in, not like he's checking boxes. After twenty-four stops this month, you start noticing which places coast and which ones stay consistent. Zesty Bites is consistent. No drop-off. No shortcuts. Just the same great pizza Imad was making a year ago. That's a lot harder than it sounds.
