    Make Build Your Own Bowl
    Matthew D.

Sonia's is great! We stopped by today for lunch and had a nice time. This location is in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. The restaurant itself is spacious and counter service with plenty of options. There was a multitude of employees and our orders came out very quickly. For my meal I made my own bowl. This came with rice pilaf, a mix of grape leaves and falafel, tzatziki and hummus, along with pickled vegetables, pickled turnips, tomatoes, feta, and Kalamata olives. Everything tasted fresh and of a great quality. My only minor criticism is that I found the falafel to be a bit dry. However, with that amount of food for $14 Sonia's is a steal and I highly recommend you try it out here.

Sonia's newest location has opened in Smithfield. Very exciting. The food has always been great I made my own bowl today and it's was delicious. You can pick your base, protein, toppings, and dressings. They also offer lots of sandwiches and wraps. There is also a breakfast menu. Seatings is available inside and there is lots of parking. Service was very friendly.

We got takeout Sonia's subs and they were delicious. The chicken was fresh and juicy, the bread was always incredible and the sub was overall very delightful. Can't wait to go back!

The Atomic Bomb sandwich is my favorite: grilled chicken, Vermont cheddar cheese, bacon, and a garlic pesto mayo on a French baguette.

The restaurant itself is clean, has a large deli display, and posters of all their delicious sandwiches. They also have premade salads, some desserts, and other goodies. I want to commend the employee I had tonight. I wish I had gotten her name but she was extremely kind and personable. I've had her before and she always makes for a great experience. If the business owner reads this she was working the night of 2/7/26 and is a crowd favorite! Tonight I ordered the Cape Cod sandwich and we also had the chicken and falafel wrap. The Cape Cod was delicious! Nice and crispy fish even though I brought it home. Their falafel is always moist and delicious as well. My other favorite sandwiches are the Varone and Goldfinger. What really sets them apart is their bread- always soft and very fresh tasting. Their prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get. This is a sandwich shop Subway is jealous of! Definitely a must try.

They also offer a big selection of prepared sides, egg rolls, and desserts that are all house made.

Color me impressed with the sandwich shack…read more I came in for RI Food Fights and you had the choice of the goro and then a couple of the cold sandwiches. I'm not a big cold sandwich guy, so I went with the goro. The pros, this is a very generous portion. I didn't feel like it was too oily, I liked the bread and it was flavorful. The workers were all very warm and welcoming, this place is going to do well. They're situated in a great spot with the school right down the street and they're not too far off the highway. Plenty of parking in their lot. Back to the sandwich, like I said, I really liked it, but I think it could be improved. It lacked a little freshness to me and it could have used a little more moisture. Something like roasted red pepper strips or some marinated sun-dried tomatoes would go a long way. The breading, bread, and the low moisture provolone just needed a little help in my opinion. Other than that, I enjoyed this place and have already reccomended it to friends. I'll be back for one of the grilled chicken sandwiches. The prices can't be beat and they obviously care about what they're serving. Great job sandwich shack!

I went with the Goro (chicken cutlet, prosciutto, pink vodka sauce - they were out so I had red sauce- provolone). I was excited to try this place as my buddy @titaniumator texted me the first day of the challenge and said I need to check it out. Well I am glad he did. They have a robust menu of hot and cold sandwiches. There rolls were soft and fresh. My sandwich was very good. The red sauce was flavorful but not overpowering. I am curious about the pink vodka sauce so I am looking forward to returning and giving it a try. The crew making sandwiches were very friendly and made sure I enjoyed my experience. The sandwich was a good size and the price was fair for the quality and size. I will definitely be back.

She listened to what I wanted, and when I showed her a photo of my daughter's dress, she made great suggestions. The next day, I was surprised to receive a phone call from Sharon. It turned out that my daughter's date had also ordered a prom flowers at Dave's and Sharon was calling to ask if it would be ok if she deviated a little from what we had discussed so that their boutonniere and bouquet could match. I oof course said yes, and I was so impressed that Sharon had taken time to call me and I was equally impressed with how much thought she was putting into the flowers. Both the bouquet and the boutonniere were absolutely beautiful with dainty lavender roses, white hydrangeas, lovely accent greens, and a beautiful bow. The service I received here and the quality of the flowers was outstanding - far better than some full service florists. I'll definitely be going back here for future dance flowers, and I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Sharon for her thoughtfulness and the beautiful flowers she provided for prom.

We split a large - and I got tomatoes on my half and she got onions on her half - and they were so kind to wrap each half individually for us. When we saw the halves coming out from the kitchen to be bagged up we both were like damnnnnnn when we saw the size. Sandwich was delicious - and the bread? Chefs kiss! I love a good crusty Italian bread but sometimes on a sandwich it can slice the roof of your mouth and that's not so enjoyable. This was hearty and crusty and no mouth cutting! And the bread to meat and cheese and veg ratio was good. The staff was friendly and the spot looked like a cute place to sit and eat. We took ours to go - but the cafe looked like a nice place to chill. There's also a bakery in the same spot - and I regret not getting a sweet treat but there's always next time.

My hairdresser told me about this place years back and l am so sad I didn't listen to her sooner…read more There are two locations, both are kind of in the same area of Rhode Island which made it hard to decide on which one to go to. I ended up going twice in the same week to the one in Smithfield, but l am curious to see if quality changes from one location to the other. Anyways, they have a good selection of flavors including: sesame, the works, jalapeno cheddar, three cheese, pepperoni and cheddar, plain, cinnamon sugar, and from what I have seen online, they do offer seasonal flavors which I am very excited for. Each one cost $1.50, or you could get half a dozen for $7.00 and a baker's dozen (13) for $14.00 which is one of the best deals around. The first time I went, I bought a dozen since / was taking them to a brunch and the second time I ordered half a dozen. One thing that immediately sets them apart from other bagel shops I've been to is their attention to detail which I am huge on. When I purchased the dozen, I requested one cinnamon sugar and they wrapped it in parchment paper so the sweetness wouldn't get on any of the other bagels. So far, I have only tasted the jalapeno cheddar and the everything bagel. I love that they're loaded with flavor, the bread is soft, not airy but also doesn't feel too dense, it is not dry, and the dough is slightly elastic-y which I love. I think a good way to measure how good a bagel is is to eat it without toasting it. This one passed with flying colors. The first time I came, l was a little confused as to where this place was because the GPS led me to the back of the building but did find my way after driving around the building. The second time I came here, 1 realized they have a drive-thru window which is very convenient. There were about 4 cars ahead of me, but within 5 minutes I was on my way home. I would highly recommend coming here!

That's a huge plus in my book. So many people were served in the 90 seconds it took me to figure out what I wanted. I've been looking for higher protein options and they suggested the low carb everything bagel (only 100 cal) with bacon, egg, and cheese (that was more calories). It's delicious. I also scooped up a large coffee with French vanilla flavor and one Splenda. It's perfectly hot and exactly what I needed on this rainy day.
