First timer and I would definitely return! The employee was so friendly and accommodating. I didn't take a picture but I ordered the Cuban club, SO GOOD! It was a large sandwich To my surprise and very filling. It was made on the spot and the wait time was minimal. I also ordered a rocky 123 for hubs & he was very happy. Everything tasted fresh. Highly recommend!!

Wow! I haven't had a sandwich this good in ages! My sister got the Rueben and I got the Brando and they were both awesome. It was busy and they were short-staffed but the woman behind the counter worked fast and had a great attitude. This is definitely my new favorite deli!

Mousie's has a giant list of sandwiches named with fun names like "Jane Fonda's Workout" amongst others. I got the "Sluggo" which is hot turkey with onions, Meunster cheese, coleslaw and russion dressing. Not good. I don't know if it was the mushy turkey, over-saturation of Russian dressing or sloppy coleslaw. Or all three. The bread, however, was pleasantly soft. So after taking three bites of my sandwich and promptly disposing of it in the trash, I went for a second round (yes, really) and got a bologna sandwich. The bologna sandwich was good. Piled high with bologna and cheese on a soft roll made my lunch a bit better. With that said, I wouldn't come back, because you can get a good bologna sandwich pretty much anywhere and I'm too scared to try another one of their concoctions.

Well I'm impressed. A raved about deli did not disappoint! Huge sandwich, tons of meat, delicious! Friendly, helpful service. I posted a pic of "the big mouth." I have to recommend it! Bobcat of CT has a Rhode Island location that I'm required to be at from time to time, I will stop here from now on! I may plan my trips around it!!!

Nice place inside. You have plenty of space between tables. Staff is friendly and working hard to get it done in a timely manner. The selection of sandwiches is mouth watering and every single bite of whatever you get just melts together. Hands down my absolute favorite sandwich shop! And the pickles.... I ordered a Ruben and it was so wet and sloppy that it was very hard to eat . The bread turned to mush and I ended up throwing half the sandwich away. The owner was very pleasant, although I didn't notice and covid precautions. read more

I've been going to Mousies ever since my arrival to RI in 1987. It is without a doubt a Five-Star Deli. My favorite is a #30 on wheat toast (turkey club), which is not just a sandwich but practically an entire meal. Came here because I saw it on the Phantom Gourmet Facebook page. Glad I came. I had the Pastrami Reuben and it was busting out with meat, Kraft and Swiss cheese. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The rye bread was toasted crunchy but not hard. Definately song them to my list of frequent eating. Nice atmosphere, friendly courteous service. Been wanting to try since I saw they were on tv. Ordered the Brandon. It barely had 2 slices of roast beef on it. All in small pieces. I put all the meat from both halves into one half. And way too much cream cheese(more than the meat!) and lettuce was brown. My boyfriend ordered the thanksgiving and was happy. read more

Great sandwiches! Definitely a go to if you're looking for an easy bite. Many have recommended this place to me, and most absolutely love it. For some you may have a hard time finding something to eat on the menu. It's a very easy and quick restaurant, therefore the inside is pretty plain. There is lots of decoration, but has minimal atmosphere. read more

Haven't been here in about 10 years since I moved. Which I use to love but Went today and got a turkey grinder. Nothing special! The rolls use to be delish..but it seems like they use the cheap Supreme Rolls you get at the grocery store and the pickels on the sandwich are just out of a jar nothing special... They use to use the half and half pickels which made a great sandwich.The young girl wasn't even wearing a mask during the pandemic, which was a BIG turnoff. I won't be going back. Disappointed! read more

Mousie's is the best. Not your typical sandwich shop... Some really creative sandwiches here. Probably my most favorite sandwich ever invented is their Thanksgiving on an onion roll. Super unbelievable. Definitely enough for lunch and dinner. Every time I'm in the area I make it a point to swing by. The ladies that run this place out equally amazing. Seriously some of the nicest people you'll ever meet... Small family owned deli. Totally awesome. Good job! read more

Mousie's is without question one of those hidden gems that once you go in, you will always return. It is hidden in the Hoxie 4 corners area in the large strip plaza with other eating places. But there is no reason to go into any other place but Mousies. There is no ambiance. There are no fancy table cloths, no fancy silverware....but you will love it. Why?? Simple reason you should love any place you eat at....the FOOD. The food is the best. Do I need to continue this review?? Ok, fine. First check out all the cool names on the menu board....you have to go and see for yourself. If you you dont want any of those choices, they will make anything you want, however you want. My favorite is the Thanksgiving in a pita...yummy. Everything is just delicious and the prices are even better then that. You can go and get an awesome sandwich, soda, and chips for about $7. Trust me, way better then that Subway place. I also cant tell you enough about the absolute wonderful staff. Friendly but busy. They all say "hi" to you and ask how you are, but this is done while flying around the place making sandwiches. The wait is short even at lunch time. If you are around Hoxie 4 corners, stop in and get yourself a sandwich and I know you will be back....I think I need to go for a ride now, getting hungry writing this. read more

This rating is solely based on the thanksgiving sandwich. Given, it was ordered during a busy rush, id hope It was at least edible . it was not. When I unwrapped it 5 minutes after receiving it, it was a ball of gooey mayo soaked bread and hardened melted cheese. I could barely find any turkey on it. Despite this bad sandwich, which ended up being thrown away, I will be back and try something different. read more

I've heard all kinds of amazing things about this place, and my coworkers, all locals, rave about it. I was.... unimpressed. I will grant that the sandwich was large. However, it was bland - white bread, concession-stand-grade condiments, poor quality meat. Also, they'd put so much... something, I don't know - water? on the sandwich that the bread squooshed when poked. I had to eat a sandwich with a knife and fork, and then the squashy, wet thing sat in my stomach like a lump of lead. There are far better sandwich places in easy driving distance, with equal local chops - may I suggest Sandwich Junction? Or, failing that, Subway? read more

I am going to be the stick in the mud here and give a poor review. I know everyone seems to love this place, and perhaps they were just having a bad day... but here goes: My husband and I were starved and just happened to be driving by. We stopped and it was a coin toss between Mousie's and Spikes. We went to Mousie's, and regretted it. I had the Rocky 1,2,3. To this day, I still do not know for sure what I ate. I know what the menu said was on the sandwich, but what I saw on the bread did not look like those ingredients... My husband's was equally as wacky. His had hot roast beef, cream cheese, and onions. When I read it on the menu I thought - hmm cream cheese, ok. I think there was an entire package of cream cheese on there. No joke. I'll keep it simple for you. On the way home, my husband had to stop and get me pepto and ginger ale because I thought I was going to be sick. Never again. read more

Wow. This place is seriously a hidden gem. I never would've gone in there if it weren't for a recommendation from my boyfriend, who'd randomly tried it...but holy cow. Their sandwiches and wraps are INCREDIBLE. And I haven't stopped craving them since I started going. I think I'm starting to drool right now, as I write this review. It might not look like much from the outside, and you might never have noticed it before while driving by, but if you get the chance, GO INSIDE and TRY SOMETHING. You will never want a sandwich from anywhere else in the world after trying Mousie's. I highly recommend...pretty much everything! We've tried a couple different things from them so far, and everything has been outstanding. I can't even think of anything else to say besides that it's incredible and I'm so glad that I found this place. Oh, also, I'm not sure what time they open...but they CLOSE AT 4pm Monday-Friday, CLOSE AT 3pm on Saturday, and aren't open Sundays. read more

What a hidden gem this place is. I tend to forget about it until I am right in the area. To be honest most of the time we go with the intent of hitting up Spikes next door and then choose the healthier options at Mousies. A full deli along with a bunch of creatively named sandwiches. They also have amazing pickles which come with the sandwich but I always order and extra. They take cards and the service is quick and consistent. They are not open late so this is a lunch only mostly. Fair prices and they normally have some good specials too for example when we went you got a free hot dog with each sandwich now while this might not be necessary free is for me so I am all for Mousies. read more

I have never had a bad sandwich from Mousies. At this point I'm convinced I'd like anything on the menu even if I normally wouldn't order it. I wish I still lived in Warwick so I could go all the time but lunchtime at work will have to suffice for now. I would've attached a photo of my sandwich (50/50 on wheat) but I've already devoured it. Keep up the awesomeness Mousies! read more

Very small town deli style sandwich shop. The walls are cluttered with knick-knacks and the seating is more-or-less wide open. The staff was very friendly and they definitely knew what they were doing. The sandwich itself was relatively sub-par. The sandwich was incredibly overstuffed, which wouldnt be a problem under normal circumstances, but the bread they used wasnt toasted and didnt stand up to the onslaught of toppings. About one quarter into the sandwich it started to break apart and fall out, and just became a real mess. Dont eat there in business attire. read more

As this place was selected by my co-founder, I needed to go by myself, have some pizza and scope out the place. Plus get to meet Dimitri himself in case he had any questions. The space is lovely, a good amount of tables and a small bar. I ordered a pepperoni and black olive and found a seat at the end of the bar. After not too long of a wait, my pizza arrived. If you were to look up Greek style pizza in the dictionary, you would see a picture of this pizza. As I was chowin down, I realized it's like the most perfect textbook version of the style. The crust is crispy and airy, the cheese a little chewy, stretch and salty. The sauce hits just right and the toppings bring it all together. Its perfection makes sense given Dimitri has been making pizza for almost as long as I've been alive, and I'll be 41 this year. Even after he retired himself from Cowesett Pizza, passing the torch to Britt, his former employee, he could only last a year before he was called back into making pizzas. And I'm certainly glad he did. This pizza hit the spot and then some. I had to hold myself back from eating the whole thing. The prices here are steep, it's a big reason as to why I don't shop here often. It's a shame because I would love to support an Armenian business.

What they offer is a big variety of deli sandwiches and menu items that are all fresh and delicious. This is a great getaway from the "Sysco" type food" you get at the fast food and fast, casual restaurants. This is a family owned place that takes pride in making you happy. By coincidence both of us selected the "godfather" sandwich. They give you a choice of either soft roll or hard roll. We both went with a hard roll. On this sandwich you get. grilled chicken, prosciutto, melted, sharp, provolone cheese, red peppers, and balsamic vinaigrette. Just writing this review makes me wanna go right now and get another one. Topped off lunch with an orange soda. The owner is a third generation family member. He cares very deeply about the quality of food and it's freshness. We will definitely be back.

A cute hostess area for pickup orders, but we headed to the small dining room and grabbed a table. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings and a meatlovers pub pizza. Our server/bartender was pleasant and attentive the whole time. Our food arrived looking great. The wings were cooked nicely, jumbo sized with super crispy texture and juicy on the inside. The garlic Parmesan was... Interesting. I believe it's a mayo based sauce, similar to an Alabama white BBQ sauce. I could see the appeal in it but it wasn't for me personally. The pizza was great as usual. I love the combination of the toppings on the meatlovers with the sauce. I enjoyed every bite. While I don't need an excuse to come to Grainsley's as it's in my semi regular rotation, I didn't mind the chance to come back sooner than later for some awesome wings and pizza!

I think that's based on the fact that the vast majority of business appears to be through delivery. They're super busy. Always hustling in the kitchen. Definitely hard-working people. That being said they're not very customer service oriented if you are coming in and especially if you're going to sit. We ordered a chicken parm sub and a square pepperoni. Both were a little below average. To be accurate I would have given two and a half stars but I'll round up here. It's not as though the food was bad it was just average at best. When you add in the fact that it's the worst dine-in experience possible because of how loud it is inside and how indifferent to other human beings the staff is it's just overall not an experience I'd want to repeat again. In conjunction with that the food wouldn't be good enough for me to order and wait for delivery either. There are a lot of good reviews here, so maybe my experience won't match yours, but I've got a lot of experience eating pizza and chicken parm subs. They're super busy. Somebody likes it. I'm happy they're doing well as a business but they won't get any more of mine.

I tried one of their shakes and it was just the right amount of sweet and full of fruit flavor. Excellent. They have a drinks cooler next to the register to grab a bottled beverage too. No steps up to enter the business. Standard glass and metal 'push' type entrance door. I did not see an 'auto open' door feature or a handicap parking spot in the shared lot but there was snow so it's hard to tell at the moment. There is no public restroom. It's tiny and as mentioned, most business is take-away. The staff were super nice. Food is soooo good. For take-away or casual dine-in, this is an excellent stop. I looked on yelp and found some excellent reviews for Joe's pizza in Warwick. It was down near the airport and not far from where I was and so I decided to give it a try. I could end this review by just saying that this place is amazing. But then, that would not be true to form for me so here goes. This is a small place with a tiny parking lot. Few nice tables outside and a counter inside and the rest is where they make the pizza there is also a downstairs where they do the prep. The place is immaculate and all the ingredients are on display. Several pizzas in their case for slice reheats. If you weren't hungry when you came in, you will be when you look at these pizzas. They offer two types of crust, New York and New Haven. The New York Pizza is simply what most people just called pizza. New Haven crust is usually unique to the restaurant. I am used to the apizza crust of some of the famous restaurants in New Haven, so admit that I am partial to those. I still decided to order the New Haven pizza to see what Joe, the owner, had come up with. Joe worked at Jeff's Pizza in East Providence which for all those pizza lovers around here now some of the best pizza in New England. Personally I am not a fan of sourdough crust, which is the only thing that can't move from being a regular there. But they were meticulous about all of their ingredients for both fresh and flavor which resulted in some of the most outstanding pizza you will ever taste. That foundation, Joe opened his own place and has come up with his own recipe for crust, which I have to say is absolutely amazing in flavor. This will now be my go to pizza place whenever I am in the area. I have to start with the garlic knots and call them out. I have a garlic knots before, including some places which claimed to have the best garlic knots ever. They did not, Joe's does. These are absolutely delicious and they served with a Sunday sauce which just augments the flavor. The portion is huge for the price and they are so tasty. I could go here just for these. But I would not want to miss these pizzas. I can't yet say that I've tasted them all, but I can highly recommend the Polpette Rustica (Meatball Pizza). Freshly made meat topped with mozzarella, whipped Ricotta cheese and basil, this is, in my opinion, the penultimate of pizza. I personally could not imagine a better seasoned flavor and loved every bite. I also tried a slice of the margherita pizza. Completely different, but equally wonderful flavor. I have to say that I will be running back. The meatballs were so good. I am even stopping in for a meatball sandwich. This is without a doubt, the best pizza restaurant in Rhode Island and I look forward to many visits. Highly recommended.

This is a great spot for lunch if you're looking for some wieners and fries or onion rings. Super friendly service. Reasonable prices. Nice people all around. It's a great little, locally owned and operated business and those are becoming fewer and further apart nowadays. Support these kind of places or they will go away.

Finally got to Mousie's. I am sorry I waited for so long. Ordered on the phone for pickup. Sandwiches ready to go when I arrived. I had a corned beef on rye, my wife had a pastrami on a bulkie roll. Both sandwiches were full, no skimping on the meat. The meat in both sandwiches was tender a moist with not alot of fat on either. We had both items hot so the Swiss cheese melted really nicely. Each sandwich comes with a dill pickle spear. I also got a half pint of potato salad which was deli style, potato's a touch of onion and a mayo based dressing. Went here after seeing it featured on tv and couldn't find the 'gem'. We had the pastrami and cheese sub and the Thanksgiving sub. Both were very weak on the meats.The bread, while fresh, was so blah and with the lack of 'filling' was the dominant part of the meal. It's a sandwich shop and no better. The prices were quite reasonable however for the 'substance' just not something we'd go back for. read more
