Admittedly, if you've gone to one D'Angelo's, you've been to all of them. It's a typical sub/sandwich shop franchise that is conveniently located at Four Corners in Warwick -- across from Dave's, Walgreen's, and Dunkin'. Of course, being as busy an intersection as it is, doesn't mean it's easy to get to, especially, with how traffic can be around there. But it's ok to get a sub at when you're in a bind, and need something fast. Anytime I've gone up to the area to visit my Mom, especially during the summer, I would get the lobster rolls, which surprisingly were always good. Even when I didn't get that, their subs like their BBQ chicken or steak and cheese were satisfying. Service was solid, never waited too long, and my order was always right. If you can do that, then you know you can go there when you need to sap a craving. read more

One of the sandwiches I ordered was a tuna pocket with tomato & pickles ONLY. What I got was a tuna pocket with not only tomato/pickles, but also with a ton of lettuce, and cheese, to boot - and much less tuna in it than a medium size indicated. After I stripped out the lettuce/cheese, I then found that the tuna wasn't completely prepared, having several pockets of very dry tuna meat, sans dressing. (UGH ! ) IDK if the order taker got my order wrong, or if the sandwich maker did what they felt like doing - but there's no excuse IMO for the dry chunks of tuna in there. read more

I've been to D'Angelo's several times recently due to emails I've received with discount coupons. Each time the staff have been very polite and friendly and the sandwiches are delicious and filling. I always order the grilled veggie, and my Mother gets the Turkey and cheese. My sandwich takes some work because it is grilled. The food is tasty and plentiful, and the employees are personable. Based on my experiences, I recommend ordering from here. I have a coupon in my mailbox now for a free small sandwich with the purchase of any size sandwich, and will be going back tomorrow. read more

Decided to take a friend of mine (who's visiting from Georgia) to get us a late lunch/early dinner. The kitchen staff and our meals were great! However, we were sat at the only available table, and across from us were 2 managers and an employee; the managers were reprimanding the employee, very loudly, with raised voices. The employee started to cry. It wasn't comfortable to sit across from this meeting, listening to this conversation, when they had an office down the hall they could've used. Giving 1 star because I can't give negative stars. It's 7:57pm right now. Our food was ordered at 6:10pm with a delivery time of 7:01-7:31. I drove to the store looking for the food and was told it was in the drivers car and there was nothing they could do. No empathy, no customer service. Do not visit this establishment. Whenever in Rhode Island I have to make at least one stop here for my favorite steak and cheese sandwich. Incredibly fresh bread, tender shredded steak with grilled peppers and onions..yum!! I've eaten lunch here about three times in the past year, most recently, last Saturday around 1 p.m. I ordered an old favorite - tuna with tomato only - and the sandwich was right on the money: tuna was good consistency, fresh tomatoes, and awesome bread. In my opinion, D'Angelo's has the best bread: a perfect balance of soft and chewy (as long as it's fresh ... any staleness kills it). There were only three people working, but their teamwork was good, so the wait was not unreasonable, despite being moderately busy on a Saturday. While I waited, I used the bathroom, which was clean. My earlier visits had similarly good food (I also like the Thanksgiving toasted!) and service, so I feel good about giving this place a solid 4 stars. read more

I never get the right order! I ordered a chicken Cobb BLT salad. When I opened the salad, they forgot to put. bacon on it. They also put the cheese on top of the grilled chicken so it was melted. It's a "tell" when there is too much mayo in a tuna salad, that stretching the product thin is more important than providing a quality product.
