Stopped in here a few days ago and ordered a poke bowl and a side Vegas roll. The process is very easy since you fill out what you want on a sheet of paper and hand it to the workers. The poke bowl was huge and definitely worth the price. The shrimp and salmon and spicy tuna were amazing and tasted fresh. Rice is unbeatable and all of the sauce was delicious. I decided to take-out the other day and I loved that they are taking extra precautions. To order, you walk-I'n fill out a paper with your order and hand it to the employee. Eat here! This is definitely my new favorite lunch spot. I have been here al least once a week since they open and the service has been great, the portions are huge and the prices are fair. I have only gotten the poke bowl and you get tons of food. What about that purple rice?!!! It's great and supposedly it has tons of benefits. During the first few months they would do $1 specials and they were the best. The golden California roll is pretty good and the chicken dumplings were also great. Amazing rolls, great price, and the rolls all included japchae! They don't over do the sauces that come one top. (I wish I knew the rolls don't normally come with soy sauce ginger and wasabi). I ordered the golden California roll, the spicy crunch shrimp tempura, and the eel dragon. I love the purple rice!!!!!!! Everything I ordered was delicious. I saw great reviews and was in the area and really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations. My favorite sushi place in Phoenix uses purple rice, so when I saw Pick N'Roll's purple rice, I was super excited to try it. Unfortunately, their purple rice was way too soft and made my entire roll mushy. The imitation crab wasn't chopped up. Instead, it was a stick that tasted mediocre at best, but really ruined the texture of the sushi roll. I think that these two things are not things that can be compromised in a sushi roll. The rice needs to be cooked to perfection (not overly soft) and the imitation crab needs to be prepared well (not stick form). Will not be coming back. read more

I love this place!! You have the option of making your poke into a burrito or a bowl, there's a ton of variety in toppings, and they're price point is awesome. I love that they have purple rice! I love this place! The poke bowls are reasonably priced and very big. It's usually two meals for me. My son is obsessed with the shrimp tampora and udon soup. I will say be careful on how much spicy things you add to your bowls. I like spicy, but eating the spicy salmon and tuna was too much for me. Eating one spicy protein was perfect. read more

Not a huge sushi fan but I thought I'd try something different and got two deep fried roll orders One was with tempura shrimp and the other crab cream cheese etc The rolls were cut up into slices and didn't look very filling but midway through the second I was stuffed. The Pick has a menu to check if you want a bowl or burrito aka wrap. I got a bowl, dining pal got burrito. The Tina and salmon was fresh, flavors spot on, spicy food, spicy and all vegis were in prime condition. Had large selection, variety, and new experiences with flavor profiles and foods like the signature purple rice. Staff was so happy and friendly. Owners and managers involved. Whole place very clean, bright, and a place to have a great meal at a good price. Definitely recommend. I will be adding this to my rolodex of must repeats and places to take friends and family to. First time at this place, we ordered a poké bowl, volcano roll, two sides of seaweed salad, a crazy roll and a burrito. Comes out to fifty five dollars. We came forty minutes till close, got our food twenty minutes till close. We confirmed that it was a dine in order, the cashier looks at my boyfriend and explains they close soon. Five minutes later, they closed the front doors. Even though they had fifteen minutes until official close, that was posted on the door and website.. we felt rushed. The poké bowl was a great value, you get a large portioning for the price. The volcano roll tasted just like butane, when we asked the cashier about it he did confirm butane was used. However he did not offer a refund, to remake or a store credit. He explained if we chose to go back to just have them not use the butane. Besides that everything was alright. I wouldn't say that everything was well worth fifty five dollars. UPDATE: This place made both of us sick with food poisoning. Do not go here!! read more

I've officially had it with this place . I was so excited today to see they were open again at realistic hours, instead of their rediculous hours they changed to during covid . Once inside I filled out the order sheet as usual, and was then ignored for over 10 minutes. The restaurant was not busy, but they were with online orders. Focus on the live customers in the restaurant first.. grub hub can wait! Or else staff more so you have someone manning the counter for live orders. It was so rude. There was a man before me that had been waiting longer, he was very frustrated too. If at any moment the 2 behind the counter had acknowledged us the slightest, even lying and saying they will be with us shortly, I would have stayed. They were so focused on the tablet online orders. 10 minutes of being ignored completely, was my limit. Oh and btw, I noticed one of the men behind the counter handling raw protein with his bare hand, while the other hand did have a glove on but was being used to hold the pan. Not smart ! I don't think I will be back .. I have given them too many chances to improve. And that is why they are having to offer the $1 California roll again, they are failing . read more

Wow! Way to open a restaurant. Went on the very first day of their grand opening and these guys nailed it. VERY kind staff who obviously care about a great product and experience for customers. Drove out of our way to eat here. They are super strict about mask policies even though masks are no longer required at reasonable places. They didn't have a single customer in the whole place and I guess didn't want any either. They weren't even in the front when we came in and had no masks available....super unhelpful and you could tell had no desire to make any food. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Lady was beyond rude upon walking in. Told us to put on a mask which was completely fine & when we didn't have one we politely asked for one and she said she couldn't give us one. And told us she couldn't serve us without one on, told us it's the managers policy. I highly doubt the manger would turn away paying customers who asked for mask. Awful service. We respect places that require masks as we still wear ours however with the new law saying if you are vaccinated you don't have too. read more
