I come here weekly. They do the dry cleaning on the premises. There isn't anything they wouldn't do for their customers. If you plan on being a regular customer, they'll give you a customer laundry bag with personal identification tag so you can just drop off n leave. They also have pickup n delivery. All my dry-cleaning is exactly how I want it (no starch on shirts) and done in a timely manner. I will say this. If you decide to come to Piccadilly and you have any concerns, the owner is always there to take care of business. He is great!! So is Humberto, his main dry cleaning manager. Cheers!! read more

Unfortunately they sewed my items back incorrectly and now it is ruined. They also gave me my $450 white fur jacket dirty and smudged with black marks all over the sleeves. Do not trust this dry cleaner. They are nice people but unfortunately they do not do even a decent job. VERY sloppy, no attention to detail, and dirty. I didn't even complain, I just had to take my jacket to a better dry cleaners. It's not about the money for me, it's about the quality. Sadly, they took my money (no refunds) and ruined my white fur jacket and my West Elm bedding and other sentimental item that needed sewing. Please do not go here even if it's convenient. I am very upset with the condition of my silk shirt. It came back frayed in the armpits, but I let it go because no could see it. I brought it back without thinking that it could be related to the quality of work at this location, but now there is no doubt that they are the ones who caused the snagged look to begin with. I've tried ironing it and there's nothing I can do now. If I had my way, I'd have them pay for the shirt but I accept that I just won't do business anymore with Piccadilly. I really love this dry cleaners! I'm so glad it's so close to work and I haven't had any issues at all here. My family used to own a dry cleaners so I can be quite picky but I've never had any issues at all. Humberto, especially goes above and beyond and recognizes me every time. Like the previous reviewer mentioned, this place uses an eco-friendly process to dry clean your clothes. It IS a little pricier, but not astronomically. I have never been more satisfied with a cleaner than here. They have been able to launder all of my shirts and NOT EVEN ONE broken button! *Knock on wood* I previously went to Oak Creek Cleaners and they ALWAYS broke at least one button even though Oak Creek advertised that they used a special method of pressing to not break buttons. Well, Piccadilly indeed delivers the on No Broken buttons. The owners are indeed very sweet and honest. I accidentally left some cash in one of my shirt pockets; and when I came back to pick up my laundry, I was very surprised to see it returned to me! I think the owners are from the UK ... hence, the name -- Piccadilly. I have not used their pick-up/drop-off service, but I would imagine it is equally dependable. I really wanted to like this place bc it is super close to my new home. I decided to try it out a few months back. I needed to tailor a brand new pair of jeans that were too big on me. I did not understand how after pinning me while I wore the jeans, to me letting them know I still wanted it to be straight leg not skinny, they happen to take it in so small that I could not even put my legs in the pair of pants anymore. Let's just say I came in to get my jeans altered and brought back a pair of jean shorts instead. I wanted a refund but the guy that was working said I had to talk to the owner to even get credit back. After weeks of playing phone tag, I gave up on it and tbh I don't even think I even want credit back because trust has been lost here. Very dependable, awesome customer service and great job! I can't be happier with my dry cleaners! They picked up my bedding's for free and delivered it back to me right on time. I didn't have any coupons and didn't even ask for discount but they offered a 30% discount and applied it to the total price. Fantastic :-) They mail coupons all the time and I think their prices are really reasonable. Even if you don't get coupons in the mail, they'll offer when you take your business there. I'm totally into eco-friendly dry-cleaning. Do you know what nasty chemicals are used to dry-clean your clothes normally? YUCK! But that said, there aren't too many places that offer it and it's quite a bit pricier than "normal" cleaners, so I'm guessing there's not much of a client base for that either, especially in today's economy. Luckily for me, Piccadilly Cleaners just opened up a couple blocks from where I work, right in the IBC (Irvine Business Complex, for those of you not from around here). The owners are super nice and are there every time I've been there. They also offer free pick-up and delivery, although since they're on my way home, I've yet to take advantage of that. My clothes, especially the silk blouses, came out great. They're firm believers in purity and thus, the clothes aren't scented or perfumed. I dropped off a skirt suit, a pair of pants, a delicate silk-blend sweater, and 4 or 5 silk blouses, which after the 50% off coupon, came out to $20-ish. They offered me a second coupon to use next time for 30% off. read more

Ah, the dreaded one-star review. My husband and I used to be regulars here, and were liking it for a while. They even replaced a button on a shirt that was damaged by another cleaners. The problems started when I sent in a couple items with large spill stains which we made sure to point out when dropping off. They came back... untouched. I've been to many dry cleaners, and I'm perfectly aware that sometimes they can't get stains totally out. These ones looked Exactly. The. Same. One of them was flat out stiff and crusty like it was to begin with... like if I had even dabbed it with a wet paper towel, it would have thinned out, much less if it were supposedly treated and laundered. Unfortunately, I found this out weeks later when I went to wear one of the items, so the stains were set in by that point. I was livid. Brought them back for recleaning, and sure enough, the stains came back barely lightened. Couple hundred dollars of clothes = ruined. We gave them one more chance with another set of clothes, which also came back looking pretty much unchanged. I wanted to think that they had at least laundered these, but did not understand why all of a sudden they sucked so much at treating stains. And when my husband brought them back, the guy did not apologize and acted like we were inconveniencing HIM! That was the last straw. This was probably a year ago, and we have not been back. Not sure what sort of "things" they were going through, but we were not about to waste any more money waiting for them to sort it out. read more

I don't normally dry clean any of my clothes (because I am cheap and wear cheap clothes...), but I had a few formal dresses & dress shirts that I felt like needed to be carefully cleaned vs throwing it into the laundry machine and praying that it would come out in one piece. Piccadilly is a friendly establishment and made my day that much better with their sunshine attitudes. When it comes to the cost, I really am not sure if it's expensive/or not. I received 50% off as a new customer (didn't even have to ask!) and was able to pick up my clothes the next day! I have been using Piccadilly for a couple years now. They advertise themselves as an "eco-friendly cleaner," which is important to me, but with that comes a substantial price increase from your average dry cleaner. I understand the process is more expensive, which is why a few years ago I realized the usefulness of adding "What are the care instructions?" to my criteria when deciding whether to buy something. That means I'm now in a happy position where I don't need a lot of dry cleaning done. But whenever I do need it, the service is prompt and friendly. I have also had them do alterations, reinforce some buttons. and they usually do a great job. I've since found a cheaper place for alterations, but would happily recommend this place for the convenience and service. read more

My first attempt at a dry cleaner in Irvine. Went here because of the previous Yelp reviews raving about it. It was easy to drop off and had I not dropped off everything on a Friday before a 3 day weekend, I probably would have gotten everything back next day. Cost: pretty decent cost, and first-time customers get a 50% discount. Staff was friendly and took care of me right away. In terms of quality of work, there were still a few stains on some ties and a stain on a pair of pants that were not taken out, granted they had been there a while and may be beyond fixing. The missing out on the 5th star is that fact that some of my ties and a pair of pants were still pretty wrinkled. Stains and wrinkles...kind of makes me wonder what I paid for. The ones that were wrinkle and stain free looked great so I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and thinking that I just need some new dress clothes. I would leave zero stars if I could. This is my first time using this service and my very expensive shirt came back torn in several spots!!! The business took no responsibility for the tears, and they would not even have mentioned anything about it if I hadn't observed the work they did before going home. When I saw the first tear and told them that I had dropped off a perfect shirt--one that was definitely not torn because I had worn it just once before--they mumbled something about one of their guys noticing the tear yesterday. This is a blatant lie because why would I pay to have dry cleaned a shirt that is all torn? And even if so, then why didn't you call me immediately about it or take note of it when I dropped it off to you? When I came home, my fiance and I noticed another tear in the back! We then studied the shirt carefully and found a series of tears on several other spots. I am beyond upset and demand an answer. This is not just about losing one of your best shirts to your poor service; it is about your dishonesty and absolute disrespect of your customer! The damage your business caused is irreparable. ** Update: On Friday, October 28th, about an hour after picking up the torn shirt, my fiance and I visited the Piccadilly Dry Cleaners to ask for a total reimbursement for the value of the shirt. The owner of Piccadilly, Noray Sertiyan (sp.?) was not there so we asked his two staff members, Alberto and Ulysses to call him. Ulysses spoke with Noray, who denied any responsibility claiming that the shirt was torn to begin with-- an outright lie, because why on earth would I want to dry clean an unwearable shirt?! He then told us to take the dress shirt back to its manufacturer (not to the store where I purchased it, but to the manufacturer! The dress shirt is made in Turkey. All the tags are in Turkish. And Noray most likely knows that my shirt is Turkish-made, which is probably why he stuck a safety pin on the tag that says "Turk Mali." I left a message with Ulysses and Alberto for Noray to call me and reimburse the total value of the shirt he tore by this Monday. It is now 2:00pm on Monday and I am still waiting for a call. read more

In addition, when I try to reach out to the business Ulysses (employee) tells me to call back. I have been trying to get an explanation for a week now with no answers. More importantly when I asked for a return phone call, Ulysses states that I need to call them and then abruptly hangs up on me. Its supposedly more eco-friendly and less chemicals are used, so I guess thats good. I havent used it but they have delivery and pick-up! They do a pretty good job of getting stains out. Some of my older white shirts had pretty bad sweat marks around the neck area which never came out, even with "double scrub" (they charged me for it without asking if I wanted it? but whatever I would have opted to get it done if they'd called so no harm done) I make the drive out to this place because theyre friendly, eco-friendly (less chemicals on my clothes means less chemicals on my skin), reasonably priced, and they do a good job of cleaning my suits and shirts. I dropped off my rug after reading the decent reviews of this place off of Yelp. I was told after the owner/manager looked at the rug I would get a call back which I did and was okay with the price. I could pick up the rug in 4 days...On the day it was to be ready for pick up I called and was told they looked at it the day before and couldn't clean it. It would need to be sent out for cleaning and another $35 on top of the quoted price. It's really hard to find a dependable dry cleaners, but I decided to give them a try since it was close to home. I used their 50% coupon for first timers and dropped off my business coat & pants to be cleaned. When I came back 2 days later to pick them up, I didn't notice anything wrong so I went home. The next week when I took off the plastic, I noticed that there was still dog hair on my coat, which makes me wonder if they really cleaned it. Then today, I wore my grey suit pants and noticed a rip in my left pocket. I have never had any rips in my pockets before and am very unhappy about it.
