What a great alterations drop off experience! We were greeted right away by Nancy, she was very welcoming and asked if it was our first time and where we learned about them. We went in to get some of my husband's pants altered. Nancy offered me a chair to sit at while waiting and some water/coffee. We worked with Pari (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) and she was helpful and careful. We didn't feel rushed or pressured to do additional alterations beyond the hemming. Before sending us to pay, she gave us a price breakdown so that there weren't any surprises. Izaiah did our checkout and assisted with adding us into the system. He also answered questions we had regarding starting price for other services. We also received a cute little thank you bag with more info. I have not gone anywhere else since I found them and do not plan to. The team always makes you feel heard, takes the time to listen, and truly cares about doing right by their customers. They are truly a jack of all trades when it comes to the dry cleaning industry. Their alteration department is also phenomenal and does a great job catering to each customer's needs. A disaster! I marked my two bags of cleaning. One bag only contained a small blanket and was clearly marked to be dry cleaned. The second bag was clearly marked as to be washed and pressed. Power Cleaners ignored my instructions and dry cleaned everything. Then they charged me $206!! When I called to say they charged me way too much, they said they clean everything according to the tag in the item. And that was a lie to cover up that they ignored my instructions. All items were cotton/polyester blends that had already been washed and ironed many times before. I asked to have a price reduction since they did not follow my instructions, but now they refuse to respond to my emails or return my phone calls. read more

I've been going here for years and years. They honestly always do an AMAZING job on shoes and clothes alterations. Nothing is cheap these days, alterations sometimes cost more than the shirt or pants depending on where you buy your clothes but you have to pay for services. I just got my shoes altered (too loose straps from cute shoes I bought online), and clothes altered. What I love about them is all the staff are so sweet and friendly AND honest about if they can even do what you want to get altered or cleaned (not every material and shirt/pant can be altered to what you want if it's simply not possible). I gave a real challenge for the team at Power Cleaners. I brought them my 25-year old wedding dress, which had gone from our beach reception to a plastic bag in our garage as we had and raised our 3 kids and moved homes 4 times. The staff put their hearts into giving my dress a new life, and were able to get out 'gawd knows' what pink drink I had gotten on the front. Wow. Wow. WOW. This place is amazing, seriously. I've found my forever dry cleaners. The hours are super helpful since I get off of work kind of late. They're open until 7pm M-TH & open as early as 6:30am also M-TH. They even have a 24hour dry cleaning drop-off! Like what? I'm mind blown. & they offer SO many other services, so many. & the location is huge. At first glance, it's easy to miss because it's tucked in a dark plaza & the first sight is dark so it almost looks closed. However, once you drive into the parking lot you can see it actually takes up majority of the plaza. The service is phenomenal. Everyone is friendly, helpful & genuine. (Sadly, this seems hard to come by nowadays.) I dropped off five items (I typically don't like to drop off so many items, because it can feel like I'm breakin' the bank) but it came out to about $40. I can totally manage that. Pricing is incredibly reasonable & the clothes came out great. Service is speedy, they had my clothes ready by the next day (not at my request) it's just their norm. Wild! Most dry cleaners have it ready in 7-14 business days haha. This business had me in awe. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. read more

I like their dry clean delivery service but sometimes my order gets delivered on separate day/weeks since a few pieces get left behind. Also, on some scheduled pick ups they didn't show up for my items. Overall, I'd recommend this business for dry cleaning but would be cautious on the delivery service. read more

This review is for alterations only. While they do a clean job, their pricing is unbelievably high. I've been a customer for a while, but recently I brought in a women's blazer to have the sleeves shortened. They quoted me $75 -- more than what I paid for the coat! I asked for a discount, but it was denied. They said they could do it for $55 if I agreed to remove the sleeve slits. Although everyone is polite and pleasant, the man referred to as the boss was not nice at all. I ended up taking the coat to another alteration shop in Lake Forest, where they did an excellent job -- kept the slits and only charged $35! I'll continue using their dry cleaning service, but for alterations... never again. Double the price and an unfriendly boss? No thanks! read more

Thank you Power Cleaners for the quick & friendly service for dress alterations! I called on a Sat 07/12 and spoke to Nancy if it was possible for alterations with a turnaround time of 3-4 days. I mainly needed the skirt length hemmed and nothing else in terms of bodice and straps. She said I could come in the next day, show the dresses to their tailor and made sure to let me know to ask for a quote first before trying it on. When I went the next day, Patty looked at the first & more urgent dress and explained that because of the double lining and pleated skirt, it would cost more. I was quoted $145. The second dress was not needed for another week and it was single lining only - $65. Not sure how that price ranges for other places as I don't normally get things altered, but I was short of options and time. I tried it on, discussed and chalked the length and went on my way. I asked for the first pick up on Wed 07/16 and they said by end of that day I could grab it. I paid exactly what I was quoted. I was expecting maybe some hidden fees for the rush or even labor, but none. It was so easy to work with them & so glad it went well! I had no issues with the dress once I tried it back on. Also love how they're open all seven days of the week & are open as early as 6:30am. Great service! read more

i usually have zero hesitations to give this place 5 stars for their pricing and service. I am disappointed today because they put my intricate embroidered lehenga top in the same plastic bag as my husband's embroidered kurta and they got terribly tangled up against each other. with two embroidered garments, please separate themselves in their own bags. this led to me spending 10 min to untangle the 10+ areas that were caught on each other, leading to frays and now my top's metallic threads are undone and makes it easier for the embroidery to come apart. this is no easy fix and I'm not sure if it can even be fixed except by cutting off the threads. I had a couple snags before but now it's all over. my husband's kurta is also a lot more fuzzy because of all the threads that got tangled that pulled this apart. I'll leave a separate review for the excellent tailoring they did, but I must be honest about this review especially since it was $$ and they said they would take extra care of my outfit. Always 5 stars for the customer service, cleaning, and turnaround time but this was a little careless and could have been easily avoided. Photos are hard to see the threading issues but it's obvious in person. UPDATE: spoke to manager and she was very kind and said that her team has happy to look at the 2 garments to see if they can fix the threading. She recommended telling the front desk next time to separate the items to different orders so that they are not combined in the same bag. I told her I did not think of this because it's usually not an issue. But again, 5+ stars for the service. I would keep coming back here despite this one mishap. Hoping they can fix it. read more

I had to leave out of towns due to a family emergency and they were unable to charge my card due to the card being replaced and that they used my old address but they were so professional and patient with me during a severely trying stressful time of my life and I will never forget how they treated me.
