I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They run an amazing family business and have top notch customer service. I had large delicate handmade rugs cleaned with them, and they have the best price for top quality work. I also only dry clean my family's clothes there- comes out perfect every time. I look forward to using their tailoring service and other services as well. They are truly and one stop shop. Thank you! read more

Requested a simple hem on a basic black t-shirt, finished around a week later. The total came out to be $25, absurd for just a simple hem.

Amazing, friendly staff and the quality of work is worth more than the value of what they charge. I use their laundry service and alterations and I highly recommend both of them to you. read more

Five Star Cleaners - Landry Service with Free Pick up and Delivery - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

I recently took 2 of my lightweight house dresses into Five Star Cleaners for some mending. They did an excellant job at a very reasonable price. I have recomended them to several girlfriends. And I will be back again soon! Thank you read more

Easy, affordable, quick and clean. Doesn't hurt that it was really close to home as well. Drop off was easy, no money paid upfront. Pickup, pay and head out. read more

5 star cleaners are the best. Not only are they the nicest people you could hope to meet, but they are fast & precise. We had some tailoring done and although it was a simple job, they made it perfect because they were thorough. I will be returning for more alterations and dry cleaning in the future. They are very fairly priced and never made me question the quality I should expect. read more

Perfect dress alterations!! I took my bridesmaid dress in on a Saturday for a wedding that upcoming Friday. I came here after another place turned me away. I walked in and was reassured it would be done on time and could be worked around the boning in the bodice of my dress (the other place told me no due to this). He was so kind and knowledgeable. I picked up my dress on Thursday, pressed and ready to go! It fit perfectly and you couldn't tell anything was ever done to it. 10/10 recommend! read more

Wonderful alteration work, wonderful owner's and staff, completely accommodating. Great business, highly recommended.

Friendly service and quality work! The owner is always friendly and he seems to have long-term customers.

The male who answered the phone said with authority what the price range was for requested tailoring services. Upon arrival, prices quoted were not honored and I was charged a lot more. Went to pick up item tailored and found out it hadn't actually gotten any shorter than what it was when I left it. Can't prove it but will never return. Would rate zero if possible read more

Five Star Cleaners my ass. Gave them five days to do something that other cleaners quoted me a day for. Not only did these guys quote me a higher price, but they didn't even do it. Only reason I came to this dump was because it opened early. Lesson learned. read more

I brought my dresses here for dry cleaning and 1 of them had a stain. Very convenient location. I picked up my dresses and they came out clean and without wrinkles. The stain on my dress was nonexistent. This place met my expectations and I will be bringing more clothes for dry cleaning. I give 5 stars to Five Star Cleaners :) read more

Ok, let me start of by saying I have extremely high standards and borderline OCD for laundry and dry cleaning services. After making the decision to stop doing our own laundry, I (hesitantly) searched for places that did fluff and fold that had good reviews. Initially I found a place nearby that seemed to be a good choice, but my third load ended up being a disaster when one of my favorite skirts was torn. I was very upset and then had to start my search again. After a bad taste in my mouth I went back to trusty old Yelp to search for a new cleaners and I found Five Star Cleaners! Saw they offered everything I needed including pickup/drop-off & monthly plans that seemed to be a great offering. My husband and I met with the owner, Sorush, on our first visit and he was extremely accommodating and helpful. Super friendly and straightforward and helpful in discussing my specific laundry needs (cold wash, hang dry, etc..and even my need to use my specific laundry detergent since I have extremely sensitive skin!) I've now had several drop offs/pickups since we first started the monthly services and it has been FLAWLESS. My clothes come back in perfect condition and they even give you a laundry bag carrier for added convenience. Never doing my own laundry again now that I've found Five Star :) read more

It's the attention to details is the reason why I keep coming back to 5 star. Today when I picked up my dry cleaning back we received a little Christmas present, a lint roller. Now your probably saying " wow this guy is hyped about a lint roller?" NO! what I'm hyped about is this business didn't have to do this, they are showing that we appreciate your business outside of the standard " Thank You!" Also ofcourse my clothes were clean and they got a pestering stain out of my favorite jacket. That's what I call value. I've been trusting my clothes here ,you should too! read more

I read some of the reviews and thought this place might be worth a try so I drove to this location in the morning before work. As I walked in no one was at the front counter and had to wait for a bit until someone approached me and took my suits. This person was unable to enter my information into their computer. I had to give this person my number and that's all she took and didn't bother asking me for my name. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and made my commute to work. Once I arrived at work I decided to call and make sure they put a name to my order and avoid losing my suits to their disorganized system. I gave the same person my name and had them spell it back to me to make sure it was correct. They stated it would be ready by the next day. When I asked about the price it was much more than I expected especially after reading the reviews. It was $20 for a two piece suit and I was not expecting such a high price after reading the reviews claiming that this cleaners was reasonably priced. I had no choice but to pay especially since I needed my suits cleaned before the middle of the week. The following day I showed up in the morning and no one was at the front counter again. There was a person at the front doing some sorting and after a while someone finally came up to me. I gave them my number and they started to look for my suits but were unable to find them. This disorganized person looked at each aisle for my suits but was not able to find them until she finally read the details. I paid for my suits and walked out disappointed at their lack of organization which really annoys me especially when I am trying to get to work in the morning and have no time to waste. After I took my suits home I opened them to find the suit jackets a bit wrinkled like if they were never cleaned or pressed. The pants were neat and pressed but I don't know what they did to my suit jackets. To make matters worse my name was misspelled on the tag which explains why this disorganized person had a hard time finding my suits. I expected more for what I paid and was met with a huge disappointment with suits that were half cleaned and smelled as if I never took them to the cleaners. Avoid this place unless you like slow disorganized service with a halfway job that will leave you highly disappointed. read more

They should be named 10 star cleaners! When I moved to the area, I searched for quite a while before finding a dry cleaning company my husband and I could trust and depend on. I was very happy to have found Five Star Cleaners. They always do an outstanding job and are friendly and helpful, especially Sorush. Recently, I brought in a very expensive designer dress that had a stain on it and had been sitting in my closet for several years. I knew I could count on Five Star Cleaners for help. They took very good care of my dress and spent countless hours ensuring the stain was removed. I am very grateful. I also brought in my wedding dress to be altered, and I was very pleased with the result. I highly recommend this company! read more

They did a good job! Very satisfied and my coat looks clean and fresh. The person in the counter was respectful, professional and kind. read more

Couldn't recommend this place to enough people. The customer service was fantastic, my shirts arrived a mess and they were very timely in meeting a quick turnaround time required for a big meeting across the country. Additionally, I noticed that they also took care of police and military uniforms so the fact that those individuals trust this place with their clothes speaks volumes and after my experience I can see why they depend on them for their services read more

They ruined my wedding dress during dry cleaning. There are hundreds of dollars in damage: the jewel belt is broken and many jewels are missing, one of the bodice cups is unstiched, and there is black dirt ground into the outside of the bodice. The belt damage is not fixable and I paid $210 for this dry cleaning service. I have not received a refund. This is my wedding dress, I'm completely in shock. read more

5 Star is the business you always hope you will find. This is a family owned business, the nicest people as well as the absolute best dry cleaning, alterations and repair. It is a pleasure going there. Do not know how they do it! Always busy, yet pleasant, friendly and somehow remember everyone's name! Cannot say enough good things. read more

I still use this cleaner for laundry of my sheets and for dry cleaning. I am happy with the service.

Best dry cleaners and alterations place in South OC! I had to get a suit tailored here and they did an amazing job! The staff is kind, understanding, patient, and will go the extra mile to make sure you're accommodated. I had to get a lot of fabric removed from my suit since the fit was way too large and they took the time to alter it not once but twice! Just to make sure everything was good down to the last detail. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good dry cleaner or alterations place. read more

I have lived in this area for almost 30 years and have tried every drycleaner within a 10 mile radius. 5 * is hands down the absolute best dry cleaner in South Orange County. The family that owns the business is always happy to greet you when you come in to the store. They never seem bothered or irritated with questions and concerns--and Lord know that deserve to resort to fussiness when they work in the sweaty, hot environment all dang day. Their pricing is reasonable and their promptness with turn around time is efficient and mind blowing. I have used them for dry-cleaning and alterations. Great quality for both. 5 * I am so sorry it took me 30 years to discover you. I appreciate all that you do when it comes to dry-cleaning and alterations. Keep on Keep on!! Other dry-cleaning businesses should take note and learn the 5 * way! read more

Great place with great service with laundry prices that aren't almost the same cost as the shirt. Some places charge $5 or more to launder a shirt, which is stupid. Five Star gives you all the excellence but at affordable prices. Great dude! read more

I purchase clothing as an investment and intend for them to last. Most of my clothes are therefore dry cleaned rather than being hand or machine washed. So I am highly critical and extremely picky with entrusting my clothes to just any dry cleaner. Well for the past 7-years Five Star Cleaners gets all my business and referrals! Friendly staff and excellent service. The best alterations in town as well! I am 5 feet 3 inches tall and purchase high fashion clothing which are made for tall, runway models. Having a trusted seamstress to do my alterations at my dry cleaners is a match made only in fairytales. Thank you guys for being my "clothes fairytale Godmother!" read more

I am amazed by their service! I forgot to remove my lipstick inside my lab coat before I washed it in a dryer so all my white uniforms turned pink. I spent so much for bleach but didn't come off. Then I finally decided to go to Five Star Cleaners, and the guy was so nice and did his best to remove the pink stains. I was so happy when they got to remove the stains. I saved me bucks from buying a new one!!! So impressed! The price was very affordable too! :) Five stars read more

Friendly Matters. Nearly all Dry Cleaners offer the same service, but how these folks separate themselves is their friendly caring service. They always have a genuine smile for their customers and are happy you are there. They also offer delivery for only a smidgen more unlike other cleaners who sometimes charge 30% or more for this service. Also in house tailoring available for very reasonable rates. I highly recommend Five Star Cleaners their name is more than words. read more

When we moved to the Mesa North neighborhood of Costa Mesa, we wanted to support a local neighborhood small business for our dry cleaning and alteration services. We have been using Five Star Cleaners for 12+ years and have never had a problem. We are extremely happy with the customer service we receive. The owners are a husband and wife team. They are very friendly and are always willing and able to accommodate the services we require. read more

I get the feeling that's the owner at the front. He's a very nice guy- I don't know how he remembers names but know what- I'll take the time to write a review because on top of friendly customer service the price here is VERY VERY fair and the speed (next day clean) and location is very convenient. Plus they do a good job. No complaints- great product/cleaning and service. If there's one small complaint is that my one new shirt was still kind of wrinkly but to be fair I took that thing straight out of a folded and sealed package. So it'll take a couple times. read more

I sent my versace silk shirts there and they returned it to me like me new. It's every hard to find a cleaners that knows how to clean couture items.
