Bad attitude, stains your shirts, and no apology. I will never go to this dry cleaners again. I brought several shirts here to get some dress shirts cleaned but when I got them back, two of the shirts had stains on it that weren't there before (see photos). When I brought it right back to ask what happened, they denied it was their fault and didn't even offer to try and get it out. There was no apology and their attitude was so rude. I think they used bleach, or some other chemical spilled, and they didn't want to accept blame. Even if they apologized and offered to remove it again as part of the service I would have been satisfied and returned as a customer. I understand mistakes can happen. But there were no attempts to even remedy their error or apologize. Another dry cleaner was able to remove the stain, so it's not like the stain was impossible to remove. Heritage dry cleaners just didn't want to accept responsibility or remedy it. read more

I have been using this place and I really appreciate their customer service and their work. I started using this place when I lived in North Park Irvine, as it was on my way back from my work. Since then I moved a couple of times and I now live in Tustin and I still come here. Recently, I dropped off my suit pants and one of the two buttons was missing and the other was about to fall off. I forgot all about so I didn't ask for a repair. To my surprise, the buttons were fixed when I was trying on the pants after a cleaning. What a service!!! Highly recommend this place!!! The owner and the family are very friendly and helpful. I also liked that the work is done on site. So they usually turn around the work in 3-4 business days. Up until a few weeks ago I never really paid attention to all the different dry cleaners near me. Sure every once in a while things happen.. lost item, damaged item, etc. Odds are if you use a dry cleaners regularly like me its bound to happen at least once in your lifetime. Just pray it's not one of your favorite pieces. So recently I visited a dry cleaners and one thing really stuck out when I went to pick up.. the cost. $20 for a suit! $12 for a sweater. So now I don't think twice and drop everything off here at Heritage Cleaners. What I look for in a dry cleaners is the following: 1. Convenience. Heritage is fairly close to me. There are others in between my home and Heritage but it's worth the extra mile or two. 2. Delivery time. Not literally delivery but if they promise my clothes to be ready on a certain day they always have it as promised. I don't need it the next day I just need a promised day so I can plan accordingly. 3. Cleanliness. I don't think any dry cleaner is really better than another. 4. Fair costs. I use to think costs were standard +/- but recently I paid $20 for a suit to be cleaned where Heritage cleaned the same suit for $14.75. Costs here are not cheap, costs here are fair. I consider Irvine rent. So for me the above 4 reasons are why I gave Heritage 5 stars. They did a subpar repair of a jean's zipper (left lots of extra zipper trailing that I had to cut off) and were unable to press knife pleats into the bottom of a silk shirt. Offered me store credit but I don't want them to ruin more clothing. It's their job to take care of clothes and they failed in that ONE task. They also gave it back to me soaked in some oily substance, probably a stain remover/solvent of some sort; it's wet. They didn't charge me for the other item I took in, as they should not. I was a loyal customer of Heritage Cleaners for 5 or 6 years. I gave them a good amount of business, so good that they would actually give me gifts at Christmas. And during that time they only ruined 1 of my clothes, which I think is a pretty good track record. Sadly, the reason I left is their customer service degenerated so badly that I felt offended every time I walked through the doors. It was so bad to the point that I actually came to DREAD the trips to the cleaners. The older women who work here were always sharp with me when I picked up my clothes. They would glare at me if I asked a question. And even though I've had a cat for all those years and some fur would inevitably be on my clothes when I dropped them off, the owners started scolding me very harshly and lectured me to clean my own clothes with a lint roller before bringing them in. Then they would proceed to pull out a lint roller and spend several minutes rolling my clothes as if to prove a point. When they charge such high prices as they do (they are one of the most expensive dry cleaners around), I believe that should be part of the service. They obviously have the lint rollers at their shop. Or at least they should be nicer to customers about it if there is a change in policy. Overall, I am very disappointed that after all those years, I was treated so terribly by these people I used to see on almost a weekly basis. I thought they should have great customer service, but instead, my husband told me the lady (maybe the owner's mom?) was really rude and no patience. She's a little rusty repairing sweaters. She struggles a bit with hemming full / circle skirts (so definitely try them on so she can chalk up the hem for you). 3) Super fast and always deliver on time. Under normal circumstances, they typically deliver in under 5 days. Mrs. Moy once altered 6 of my items in just two days with no rush request. For those emergency situations, Heritage handles same and next day cleaning with ease. I've even had items tailored to precision super last minute. If you're in a bind, there's no better place to go. ---- Some additional info: What they won't dry clean: color treated feathers (I believe they do down feather bedding). They DO dry clean saris. It is the same rate as tablecloths, sheets, and drapes. Purses and bags are sent off to a third-party for cleaning, so they take longer and results are not guaranteed. The problem with moving to a new city is having to start over in your search for new places to shop, eat, get your hair cut, etc. And, it didn't help that there were so many negative reviews on the dry cleaners within minutes from where I live. However, I wanted to avoid all the bad service and destruction of my brand new sport jacket at all costs. This place had very good reviews, and it was about a 5-7 minute drive from my place so I thought I'd give it a shot. It was already dark at around 6pm, but I finally found this shop round the corner from where I occasionally have dinner with friends. But wait a minute.....the doors were wide open and the "open" sign was still on, but it was pitch black inside! eeeer, should I go in? I walked in and said....."helloooo?!" Up popped this head from behind the counter, still in the dark, and replied.....Hi! After walking completely in to the shop, the lights came on.....I guess they are motion activated.....phew! A very friendly lady took my jacket, I paid the her upfront, and she passed me a receipt and told me to come back the following Monday (3 days later), anytime after 4pm. With that, it was done....simple. However, I thought I'd better wait till I picked up my jacket before writing this review. I popped in right after 4pm and the same lady popped her head up from behind the counter again with a friendly greeting and asked me how my weekend was? Very nice customer service for sure! I passed her my ticket and she retrieved my jacket with a smile, and that was it! All done. Simple, no stress, and they did a great job dry cleaning my jacket!
