I would post a picture of my food but I ate it too fast because of how great it was. I got a burger and fries and everything was cooked perfect and the ingredients tasted very fresh and full of flavor. I work out here a lot and I'm bummed it took me two years to find this place. My friends and I ordered breakfast here the other day and it was...okay. The veggie bagel sandwich had good flavor but the bagel was incredibly stale and hard. The morning glory smoothie my friend ordered was warm. Worst of all, we paid $6 for a LARGE side of fruit and received a box with a single strawberry thinly sliced and a small handful of blueberries. Two stars because they're friendly. But, cut off breakfast 30 minutes early-on a Sunday! Cubano sandwich had no pulled pork, and the ham was processed straight out of an Oscar Meyer package. No idea what the sauce was?!?!??! totally disgusting The club sandwich was equally horrific- same processed ham plus turkey and gobs of mustard. Fries were greasy, and bad. Just bad overall. We arrived at 10am on a Wednesday. I had the All American Breakfast and hubby had chiladios (wrong spelling). I ordered my eggs over medium and they were over cooked and the bacon had been cooked several hours before as well as the potatoes. It was almost like they cooked everything a couple hours before and then heated it up in the microwave when we placed our order at the counter. This was the first time for us to try this place and we will not be coming back. Our next time in Sonoma we will eat somewhere else for breakfast. Too bad the restaurant downtown for happy hour and dinner is pretty good but this place lacked everything! read more

I get this is first week of school break and things are busy and chaotic. I also understand there's a shortage of meat. When I looked at pictures of cubano sandwich others have posted in the past it made me upset! I had 2 slices of ham, some pickles and cheese. If they are short on pulled pork please advise customer to change order! Making customers pay full price plus 15% tip on a half sandwich is not cool. read more

You order at the door and then keep moving. This place is hopping and the register gets congested fast! Quite the variety.. You can order a pastry and coffee or a fish and chips or a grilled sandwhich or an acai bowl! The list goes on. There is seating inside and out which is good on days that the weather is nice since the place is so small and so popular! A second place has opened they are that yummy! Prices good, parking scary. Right off the busy road so if you bring kids, hold tight! Their coffee is for those who enjoy the darker roasts. The food is so good from a pastry and coffee in the morning to a hamburger and perfect fries at lunch and all menu items in between. Finally decided to drop by and try this place after months of hearing good things from friends. I was not disappointed. Super cute little place with very friendly and helpful staff. Outdoor seating in back was darling. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked & seasoned. Ingredients were clearly fresh :) and the amount of food they give you for the price they charge is a great deal. Will definitely be back. Edit: I've come here countless times since I wrote this first review and I've never been disappointed. Very sweet, helpful staff who never make me feel bad about making changes to menu items because of my food allergies. read more

This place use to be great. I got there at 11:40 am and it was so crowded (I guess that's good?). I've always gotten the "giving thanks" sandwich. An amazing sandwich. Not any more. Are there new owners now? The sandwich was dry. The cheese was stale. And I asked FOUR times for sliced bread, NOT a bun. She even had me POINT to what type of bread (what kind of deli doesn't know the difference between a bun and sliced bread???). So I get home (after paying $12), open it up, AND IT'S A BUN. GREAT. Picazo Cafe and Deli is one of our favorite local stops. Really good cup of coffee to start your morning with fresh baked pastries. Not to mention all of the full breakfast menu! For lunch, the burgers are a destination lunch and do not skip the fries as they are cooked to perfection. They have lots of healthy options, bowls, salads, fruits and more too. A full beer/wine selection of locally produced items. Locally owned and the service is always over the top great. Indoor and lots of outdoor seating. Dog friendly on the patio too. The food was amazing; it was super fresh, full of flavor, and large portions. The outdoor dining area in the back is super cute as well. Prices were very reasonable too. Worst foot ever. I give them 2 stars for the friendly service. Came in today at 10am for breakfast. They didn't have pancakes. Seriously? Ordered kids waffle instead, which I bet was frozen (had it been freshly made from batter, pancakes would have been available too!. It was dry and tasteless. The side fruits that came with it looked pre-cut. The all-American breakfast wasn't much better: the poached eggs were ok, but the bacon was dry and looked old. Same with the toast. The Kids burrito was a bit better than the rest. All the food was served in take-out boxes although we were eating on their patio. Overpriced for what it is. read more

Had a fantastic late breakfast of chilaquiles, which they generously split between rojo and verde, the latter of which was surprisingly good. My partner had their signature burger, which she exclaimed was the best burger she had ever eaten in her life. Service was friendly and the place completely unpretentious. This made it to our list of places to which we'll return. read more

Review for DoorDash order : eta on the order was 30 mins and that became 1.5 hours . Pancakes came with nothing on it ( no syrup or butter) , the toast that came with my American breakfast also had no butter or jam. read more

The people working here are so darling. The most friendly staff. And, the wine was also great! They have great handmade soups and are open for brunch. Be careful when you park though! It is pretty tight to the main road and limited vision. The cafe is very clean and cozy and the prices are reasonable. I would definitely suggest to stop here for a breakfast experience when in the area. read more

Oh, man.. now they have hamburgers, pulled pork, fish and chips and more on their lunch menu. And it's all so good! I have had their fries and sweet potato fries, and they are almost as amazing as the burger. Usually when you get a burger at a restaurant even if it's good.. it tastes like a restaurant burger. Some folks coming to the Wine Country are keen to dine at signature restaurants and later rave about any combination of food, service, and ambiance. Sometimes the praise is deserved, and at other times it seems like another high tab butt sniffing exercise. For Gayle's Birthday Dinner on a recent Saturday night, we had such an experience, although certain service quirks lowered the rating and afterwards recalled the words of an old Peggy Lee Number - Is That All There Is? Contrast this with earlier that Saturday when Gayle and I traveled down to Arnold Drive on the "Other Side of the Tracks" for easily the best 5 Star breakfast experience we have had in a long long time. Picazo is not fancy and the dining room has the feel of an old enclosed fruit stand. At the same time, our breakfasts were amazingly delicious (spicy sausage omelet for her, Cali scramble for me), the service (both at the counter and table) were down home friendly, attentive, and welcoming, the coffee was really good, and the value to price ratio put many of the Wine Country Zagat listings to shame. Our only regret is that we came back for Lunch the next day for the Burgers, and they're closed on Sundays. Will we be back? Hell Yes! read more

My first visit - and while it was "good", "ok" it was not as grand as most of the reviews here. My friend had a burger - she said it was "good" but she'd had better. She did very much enjoy the crispy sweet potato fries. I had the California scrambled eggs - they were good but the portion was overly huge - that might be ok with some people but put me off a bit. But the ingredients were good and flavorful. The side of roasted potatoes were cooked well but nothing special about the spicing. I will say the eggs were topped with a half of a perfectly ripe avocado, nicely toasted english muffin and home made jam - nice presentation for sure. You order yourself at the counter then the dishes are brought to you. After that we did have good service as the young waitress checked back several times to see how we were enjoying our meal. It was a cold day so we were in their smaller area inside. I suspect on a lovely day, their much larger outdoor area would be very very pleasant. I will try it again. thanks read more

Been here twice for just coffee and pastries. Only stopped in because it was on my route towards SF. When driving on Arnold Drive thru the western border of Sonoma this place is about the only quick eats option (If you do not consider the Quick Stop market / gas station across the street as an option). We enjoyed very nice breakfast outdoors on the patio of this café. As it was a Sunday morning we wanted to be sure the restaurant we chose did not have a very long wait. After standing online for a brief period of time we entered and placed our orders with a very friendly and upbeat young man. There were many nice breakfast choices. I selected the bagel and lox which were terrific, while my husband opted for an American breakfast, eggs bacon and potatoes. Food served promptly and was very good! Just wish the coffee was hot rather than lukewarm. Will definitely return as the setting was very nice, food very good, and prices reasonable. read more
