The pork was so dry it was more like pork jerky, but not in a good way. It was very difficult to chew. No one ever checked on us, so we didn't have an opportunity to tell our server the meat had been overcooked to the point of inedible. That egg roll sure was good, though! *Pork and shrimp Spring roll - not bad at all, but there was precious little pork or shrimp inside. Mostly the cool vermicelli noodles. The peanut sauce was unlike any I've ever had at a Vietnamese place. It was a gloppy sauce with a tiny bit of crushed peanuts added. Usually it's like Thai satay sauce but this wasn't even close. Fortunately they had sriracha and hoisin sauce on the table. Tried to ask for check, but again, no one was paying any attention to us so I had to get up and ask for it. Remember, we were the *only* people eating at the time. We never felt like anyone cared that we were there or if we ever came back. No worries. There's lots of other good Asian choices in the area.

I've been a loyal customer of Pho 2000 since 2019, and I can confidently say that this place is a standout, not just in the local area but across Cerritos and its neighboring cities. Under the new ownership, Pho 2000 has taken customer appreciation to a whole new level, and it's truly something special. In an era where prices seem to climb endlessly, especially during this financial "correction" or potential recession/depression, the new owner has made the bold and heartfelt decision to lower prices to levels I haven't seen since pre-COVID days. This isn't just a business move it's a genuine commitment to the community and their loyal patrons. The food at Pho 2000 has always been exceptional, with fragrant, warming broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh, high-quality ingredients that make every bowl a masterpiece. For me it's the classic Oxtail pho, the consistency and care in every dish never fail to impress. But what sets this place apart now is the heart behind it. The new ownership's decision to reduce prices during such uncertain economic times speaks volumes about their dedication to making great food accessible to everyone, not just a luxury for a few. The service remains as warm and welcoming as ever, with staff who make you feel like family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner. I've dined at countless restaurants, and I can say with certainty that no other place in the area or even in California matches Pho 2000's combination of incredible food, affordable prices, and genuine care for its customers. This is a business that truly values its community, and it shows in every bowl they serve. Lastly thanks for the atmosphere that remains traditional and not too modern. Thank you, Pho 2000, for your outstanding service, delicious food, and for going above and beyond to support your customers during challenging times. You've earned a lifelong fan, and I'll continue to sing your praises to everyone I know! Keep shining you're a rare gem. read more

I dine here quite often during lunch. My overall experience have always been pleasant. I really don't get some of the complaints (whining?) by some reviewers. SERVICE- pleasant smile and seated me. They refill my water without me having to ask.. this is when I'll let them know if I needed something. Those that expect OR looking for a conversation, please!, I don't even get that @ The Olive Garden. Personnally, I'd prefer the I eat in peace..Lol. PORTIONS- are pretty decent. Although, sometimes my appetite wants more. Pho is good quality, clean and clear. Those that are expecting dark soup or oil.. Lol, that's so 80s. Ask for oil & onion if u prefer it in ur pho. Vegetable plates are size proportionally to the bowl. Extra vegetables are FREE.. simply ASK. I've seen places with those huge baskets of veggies.. first, do people actually put all those in ur pho? That would surely dilute the broth. Secondly, I know for a fact that quite a few of those places re-washes the un-used veggies for the next customer. So think twice before getting too excited. ATMOSPHERE- is asian with modern touch. Seems clean for the times that I've been there. PRICES- slightly higher than ur typical Pho place. But that's comparing to Little Saigon or Alhambra.. Lol. Everywhere is high when comparing to those communities. I do grocery and eating out seems more cost effective nowadays. OVERALL- my experience is very positive. I'm pretty picky, but on the other hand, do understand perfection doesn't exist. I simply COMMUNICATE to most of the places that I dine and resulted in mostly enjoyable experiences. I recommend others to try it, most businesses have their reasons. Happly Dining all.. read more

I recently stopped by Pho 2000 in Artesia and was really impressed with the changes under the new owners. You can feel the difference right away--the restaurant feels welcoming and cared for, and the staff is warm and attentive. The star of the show for me is the house special pho. The broth is rich, clear, and deeply flavorful without being too heavy, and the rare steak is always tender and fresh. You can tell a lot of care goes into making it. It's easily one of the best bowls of pho I've had in the area. The new owners have really elevated the experience here. The service is quicker, friendlier, and the little details--like fresh herbs, clean presentation, and a comfortable atmosphere--make it a place I want to come back to regularly. If you're a pho lover, this place is definitely worth a visit. It's great to see this spot thriving with its new ownership, and I'm looking forward to coming back often. read more

I've been to this restaurant quite a few times and I would have to say that it's decent. It's not great, but at the same time, it's definitely not terrible - just decent. It's tucked in the center of the 99 Ranch Plaza off Pioneer and so there's more than enough parking. If you happen to go on a day when every Asian family in the 562 happens to go grocery shopping, fret not - you can park on the street. The prices of the items are reasonable, the service is pleasant and approachable, and the entire place is clean. There's also a flat-screen TV on the wall that's usually showing something that I would watch. However, if the program isn't to your liking, I'm sure they'll accomodate you. The food is okay - the pho is nothing to rave about. I personally like the grilled pork dish since they don't make it too greasy, unlike some other places. So Get Up Offa That Thing and give it a try! Hit me!!! read more

Just a heads up, even "mild spicy level" has a noticeable heat, so if you're sensitive to spice, don't try to be brave... go no spice. The meats were surprisingly good, tender, not chewy, which is where a lot of places mess up. Noodles came out hot, no complaints there. Still my go to pho restaurant. There are many others surrounding it but this one beats them all…read more Most of the pho options are relatively the same. They just have different portions of meat, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Service is quick. The servers dont really check up on you as often but you can easily just flag them down if you need them. The restauant is usually always full, but because people eat fast and service is fast, it is not a long wait time. Portion size is always consistent and large if you get the big bowl. Bathrooms are clean and accessible. Parking lot is small though, so it may be more convenient to park on the lot next to the Filipino market next door and just walk if you can't find any parking.

Overall service was friendly but was very let down by the quality of the food. The reviews for this…read moreplace are high so we were very surprised. Overall ambiance is acceptable but the environment felt slightly Americanized. The ramen felt very low quality. The broth was watery and did not have a deep flavor and the noodle was much too overcooked which is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. The unagi rice was acceptable but tastes similar to the pre-cooked unagi I buy at ranch 99... The salmon collar seemed promising but they did not add one pinch of salt which is SUPER SUPER necessary when grilling fish to bring out its flavors. We ended up bringing it home adding salt and rebaking it which saved the dish. Overall disappointed by the food and won't be coming back.
