Ate here for the first time yesterday & loved it! My hubby loves Pho so he ordered #14 (Everything except meatballs) pho soup and I ordered their combination fried rice. My hubby had a large pho and looooved how filling it was. They did not skimp on the meat. Tons of meat!!!! Same as the combination fried rice. Not the best pho in the renton area. Wait times can sometimes be a problem if you're on a time limit. Ex. Lunch or in my case laundry. Anyways the pho is average. Not very flavorful but they do give you lots of meat. Small bowl is pretty big and their large bowls are comparable to an extra large at some places. Where they shine most is their fried rice. I've been coming here many of times and I use to love it here up until today. I ordered a steak pho and fountain beverage . Usually when a restaurant has a fountain beverage station and your dining in the beverage is unlimited but here that wasn't the case . I went to the fountain station and their ice machine wasn't working . He told me to sit down so he can get it for me. He scraped up a few ice cubes to put in my cup and gave me my soda . I was very thirsty so I drank my first two cups very fast . When I went for the third I realized it was not working. I let him know and he was rude saying that I can't get anymore . No refills . It doesn't say no where that u can't have refills. I said okay whateva I will pay for another . He then says oh cash only (since I paid for my order with my card) as if I didn't have money. I said okay how much and then paid .! This is the worst experience I've ever experienced here . I'm beyond upset and felt I was treated unfairly.! Things have been going bad there over the months where I now completely stopped going there. They dont thoroughly clean their dishes and bowls, re-serve basils and limes (i got a used lime and a basil stem with no leaves) and bathroom smells urine even after they clean it. The place used to be clean but now I refuse to go back until reviews are better. One time mistake can be overlooked but consistent repeat offence of reusing someones partially used basil and limes is just too much. If you're in suburban Seattle, about 20 miles SE, and going to the Valley Medical Center or the nearby IKEA, you can stop and have Vietnamese food at Pho World! It's right next to the Fred Meyer store in the local Mall. The best thing about this place is the large 3x3 poster photos of modern Vietnam, and the 2x2 photo posters of the food they serve on the windows. The next best thing is the Pho. Actually, it was pretty good, and they are helping to introduce this popular meal to all the non-asians who shop in the suburbs! I know there is a place named Pho World in nearly every city, but this one I think is independant. The place is clean, the staff smiles, and the Pho Tai was very edible with a decent broth and ingredients. They have rice plates, noodle salad bowls, and bubble juice, too. I go to Fred Meyer all the time, so I see Pho World quite a lot, but I've never eaten there. So one day when I wanted fried rice (more than usual, that is!) I decided to walk to Pho World after reading the great yelp reviews. Upon entering, the lady clearing tables smiled and greeted me, and attended to me almost immediately after finishing her current task. Due to my awkwardness and newness to the establishment I suddenly had no idea how resteraunts worked, but the server was extremely kind and patiently guided me through how seating and ordering worked at the establishment. I ended up ordering seafood fried rice, and it came out quickly, and extremely delicious. The serving was generous as well! Once I was ready to pay, the server was still as kind as ever. But at the cash register, a different lady rang me up. She definitly wasn't as nice as the first lady, but she was probably just having a bad day. She wasn't rude at all, but see just seemed upset. The total after taxes was around ten dollars, which is good for seafood fried rice that included squid, shrimp, and crab. I left a satisfied customer, who will definitly be returning. read more

I've eaten here quiet a few times and I haven't had a problem with the food. The pho is not to my liking but my parents enjoy it so that's not a big deal. The reason for my 3 star review is because as I was leaving the lady who I assume is the owner yells out how much I tipped in front of everyone along with something in her language. I wasn't embarrassed because I don't feel like tipping is required. If I had not had to stand up and get my own water I might have tipped more but you really don't deserve much for setting my plate down and that's it, I am already paying for the meal. read more

Okay, so I've been in a few times since my review and the food was still good each time. Then we went here Wednesday night as my wife was craving some pho as she's a little under the weather. So we order the #1 large and ask for a couple of bowls to share it along with splitting our order of chicken fried rice. The server was super accommodating and we quickly ate the pho which on a cold rainy night really hit the spot. Midway through, the fried rice came out and for some reason, it wasn't very good. The chicken tasted a bit dry and the lima beans were downright gritty. I honestly can't remember any lima beans in my fried rice the last few times I've had it there. In any case, the food was okay. I still tipped the server 20% for not giving us a hard time about extra bowls which typically will get you a dirty look at some Asian restaurants. Besides, it was either $3 or $2...what's the big deal right? Well, she sees the tip and goes into the kitchen and I hear her say to the others back there "three dollas!! I got three dollas! See!!! I told you". I guess her cohorts thought she was stupid for giving us extra bowls. I assume that extra bowls to share mean we're cheap to some but our server didn't mind so she got my "three dollas". The service is fairly quick but they dont refill drinks that fast or check on you about how the food is because there is usually just one or two people working there. The restaurant is very clean. sorry madam owner, your pork chop rice dish gave me diarrhea- I thought the meat tasted different because of different style cooking but I now realized the meat was actually bad. my first meal of the day became my only meal of the day due to stomach pain and nonstop visit to the loo. I was in your establishment few times for pho, and I thought I tried something new to change but this change is very disappointed. please check your food temperature and date your food especially on hot days like this 6/5 weekend. Food was average, service was awful. When I first came into the restaurant, I expected the menu to be only Pho, I was mistaken. The menu consisted of variety other Vietnamese foods which I found weird since the name of the restaurant is "Pho World". I've ordered the beef pho from the menu and within two minutes, everything was done. Sometimes in life having anything done fast is awesome, but not food.
