I just had the best bowl of Pho here in Austin since my first time trying it almost 20 years ago now. I usually have to add a bunch of hoisin sauce and fresh herbs to boost the flavor. However the broth in the Pho here was packed with flavors. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. Side note, the price was just right. The amount of meat to noodle ratio was great and I even had leftover meat. Since the broth was so good I asked for a to go box and extra noodles to take home for later. Enjoyed everything about my first visit to Pho With Us! Plenty of parking on a Friday early evening ~7pm and plenty of seating inside as well. Staff was very friendly, pointing out both appetizers and mains to share. Very reasonable prices for the quantity (and very high quality) of food! We enjoyed the pork eggrolls, crispy brussel sprouts, calamari, and the namesake Pho (see photos). Everything was fresh, timely in service, tasted delicious. Was in town for the weekend, and a friend recommended we come here for pho. The restaurant has a beautiful esthetic, and the staff was so incredibly sweet here. I ordered a hot tea, spring rolls, and the beef ball pho. The spring rolls were very fresh, nice crunchy veggies, and the peanut sauce was delicous! Shortly after the spring rolls came, our pho came out, and I have to say this place had some of the best beef balls I have ever had. Went here while staying with a friend in South Austin and this place was 100% full with a number of parties waiting on a Friday night. Thankfully the 6 seats at the bar were fully open so we were able to be seated immediately and surprisingly it wasn't too loud back there and was easy to carry on a conversation. I can understand why this place is so popular though as this is the missing Vietnamese place I always wish I had when living in central Austin. I ordered the Egg Roll and Pork Vermicelli (~$16) (I believe they called the Absolute?), and it was fantastic. The portions are generous, the flavor delicious, and fairly priced for what you get. You can get canned Electric Jellyfish IPA ($10) to wash it down which was a nice treat when coming back to visit. Pho With Us is really great Vietnamese spot that shouldn't be overlooked. There are several options at Pho with Us. You can choose something traditional or mix things up with their speciality dishes. Either route you choose, you won't be disappointed. The order: Vietnamese Fried Pork Egg Rolls, Pho Rare Ribeye (the traditional), the Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac), and an order of the Green Matcha Iced Tea. The Bo Luc Lac was amazing!! Typically, most Vietnamese restaurants don't serve much meat. Instead, Pho with Us piles on the sides (such as the tomatoes and bed of lettuce) and provide plenty of flavorful, delicious meat. Came here on a Sunday morning basically at opening and we were seated quite quickly. There was only one other party there with us so the space felt really empty, but it wasn't necessarily bad. Our service was confusing at first - someone approached us and as we were about to order, she actually walked away when she realized she wasn't in charge of our table. Nonetheless our actual server was pretty nice and efficient, but it was an awkward interaction for sure. Our food and drinks came out pretty quickly though so there's no real complaint here. The tea was great - really big for its price and it tasted just right. The pho was okay, definitely have had better portions elsewhere but this satisfied the craving in the end. First time trying this place. Wanted to have a Bahn Mi sandwich, so thought we'd try somewhere new. Glad we did. First off the hostess, was so pleasant! As we're all the staff we interacted with. Our server and the person who brought our the food were all attentive and nice. Even though I came for a Bahn Mi, I ended up getting a Pho. I had the beer rib, brisket and beef ball pho. You know a place is good when you almost don't want to write a review because you're worried that you'll never be able to go back if everyone knows about it. You also know that a place is good when you go back for the same thing you had yesterday the very next day. I will admit to both. I didn't have high expectations when I decided to stop by for the first time, and the bit of a longer wait for my food to come out further discouraged me. But as soon as I took the first sip of that pho broth, my heart was stolen. What makes me a legitimate judge of good pho? Aside from being 1/6ths Vietnamese and growing up alongside the Vietnamese population of Northern California, trial and error. The pho broth here has a lot of flavor and isn't too salty. In fact, I was still sipping away after I'd finished my noodles, which I never do for the sake of my health. Good pho broth shouldn't be murky, and while this broth isn't exactly translucent you can tell that the surface fat has been removed with care. I ordered the recommended pho with us, two days in a row just to make sure that the first time wasn't a fluke, and sampled the mild pad Thai and French dip banh mi. The beef rib adds good flavor but is just a bit of a hassle to eat, so I took it home for my cat. The other meats were tender and of good quality, and even without the meat on the rib I'd say it's a good portion for one person. The pho noodles weren't anything extraordinary, but they were done right so no complaints. Now for the finishing touch: the chili oil! My entire family is obsessed with chili oil, to the point where they tried to sneak a couple of jars through customs while coming back from Asia. My mom makes her own sometimes, and I remember opening the door to the burning of peppers stinging my eyes. I've never been convinced to try chili oil until I ordered this bowl of pho. The oil was so smooth, the spice wasn't even strong, and it paired perfectly with the pho. Another small thing to call out is the fact that the Thai basil came out full and fresh, the jalapeño slices were large and flavorful, and the limes were big and juicy. It's easy to cut corners with the sides, and as someone who does use three out of four of the side options I really appreciate the emphasis on quality. Mild pad Thai: Huge portion! Not spicy at all if requested mild. I'm not personally the biggest fan of pad Thai because the rice noodles can get gummy if not eaten quickly, but thoroughly enjoyed by the person I was eating with. French dip sandwich: Longer than a foot! We were informed that the wait was a bit longer because of the bread. The bread came out warm, fluffy on the inside and a good crunch on the outside. It comes standard with brisket but you have the option of adding additional meat, we got just the brisket though and had no complaints. Thai tea: Extremely aesthetically pleasing, not too sweet, can easily tell that it's the real deal and not made from powder. Totally recommend! Overall, this place is the best aspects of American dining mixed with Vietnamese quality. The servers are very attentive and will come by to check on you, the check is brought to the table as opposed to you having to go up to pay it, and the server was happy to help us pack our leftovers instead of having us do so ourselves. All in all, I've found my new favorite pho restaurant and this one is not going to be easy to beat. read more

Ordered a tofu banh mi via Uber eats, so I expected bread would have softened a little, what was disappointing is I got a chunk of bread filled with stir fried tofu, no pickled carrot daikon, no fresh cilantro, no sauce. Nothing fresh and zesty about this sandwich :( 5 stars for customer service!! Heard from manager within minutes trying to make things right. I've been to Pho With us multiple times. The service is hit or miss to be honest. When I get particular servers, I have an amazing experience. I've had others never check in on me. On the food, though, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Every time I go in I get a BAO. They've got tons of options, but I will say, the pork belly was under seasoned and dry. The brisket has always been good every single time I've gotten it. Their lettuce wraps are something to write home about. It's vegetarian with the option of adding chicken. There is veggies and lemongrass mixed in and the seasoning is always top of the line. The peanut spread that comes with it is also incredibly amazing. I've tried the Pho as well and it was ridiculously hot, but after allowing it to cool down I though the depth of flavor was good. I'm probably here about once a week. Always coming back! read more

This place is a MUST. I have not had such delicious Pho in quite awhile. The presentation and flavor are divine. I was very impressed with the dinosaur bone, that's what I call it, the meat on there was bursting with flavor. I was not expecting the bahn mi to be as large as it was but I am so grateful for the portion as it was my lunch the next day. The pork belly inside of there is just delicious and everything they put into it had the perfect balance of flavor. This place truly gave me umami. There are a wide variety of options for the Pho there's also different meat options available in the sandwich. Looking forward to my next visit to try more. This rating is really for the vermicelli dishes only. I have tried vermicelli dishes from a number of vietnamese dishes in the Austin area now, and so far this was definitely my favorite. The meat on both the absolute and 3 musketeers vermicelli bowls were suuuuuper flavorful just by themselves, but adding the sauce over it takes it to a whole other level. On top of that it's not overly filling and feels on the healthy side, so it really wind every way I look at it. Was really excited to try this place based on the reviews and the food did not disappoint. We tried the brussel sprouts, steamed pork dumplings, chicken pho and absolute vermicelli. Brussels we're some of the best I've ever had - very flavorful. The dumplings weren't anything special, but good. Adored the pork vermicelli, excellent marinade. The pho broth was phenomenal, not greasy at all. The pho fixings were all super fresh. We also enjoyed the peach and lychee sake. To top it all off, we had all this for $75. Pho With Us makes a delicious Bahn Mi, great fried rice, and awesome cheese wontons. Their food is amazing. Their time management is awful. If you order online around 4-6 on Fri-Sat you will be lucky to get your food within 15 minutes after the time it says your food will be available online. I've been going here for months. The first few times I was greeted with "your food will be ready within 15 minutes." So, I started arriving fifteen minutes late and still received the standard "15 minute" greeting every single time I went. What makes it additionally frustrating is when you ask about it you get a standard "they are working on it right now." I'm convinced now that their process is to start cooking your food when you arrive. Which, would be fine if they set those expectations as you ordered online. But, they don't. So, as I said above, the food is worth it but expect to wait in-person for online orders for at least 15 minutes. read more

Okay I've tried the core Vietnamese dishes. Pho was phenomenal. Lots of depth and flavor. I tried seafood pho; they weren't generous with actual seafood-two shrimp, one scallop, two pieces of extraordinary chewy calamari (I couldn't break it down) and four chunks of fake crab. One star lost because of this. Charlie had the special banh mi French dip. It's huge! 12 inches. You dip it in pho broth. Really tasty. We went back again and had the bun with pork and egg rolls. We discovered this amazing Pho place when visiting a gf in Austin. It was exactly what I needed after a weekend of partying to bring me back to life. The broth was so good nice and light you can tell they took their time and put love into it! We also ordered spring rolls and egg rolls to start. They were very good as well and great for sharing. Thought the lobster pho ($20) would be gimmicky but I stand corrected with the pairing in flavors.. Pho With Us is actually owned by native Vietnamese Austinites. The food was great, authentic where it should be and scrumptious everywhere else. The lobster was bouncy, meaty and of good size. I end up enjoying pho and lobster together since both have subtle sweetness. The banh mi was probably 1.5ft long with a crispy yet airy bread. I got the cold cuts because that's harder to find in Austin. It has this umami sauce that's very addicting but could use more Viet butter cz I'm a fatty. We have been eating here once a month. Today is probably the best experience in the past 2 years. The lady who took our order was very nice and helpful. She asked us if we need an extra bowl or water for our son without us asking for it. The whole place is very clean, nice with music in the background. We always get pho with us which comes with a giant beef rib, pho meat lover which comes with ribeye, tendon, stripes, etc. We also got the fried pork eggroll which is my son's favorite, crunchy outside and flavourful inside.
