Beef rib pho
Airon A.

Pho With Us is a Vietnamese restaurant that prepares homestyle Vietnamese food with fresh ingredients. I was craving Pho so I placed an online order for the Beef Rib Pho through the website and was impressed with how easy the ordering process was. The food was packaged well, and everything arrived hot and ready to enjoy. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was approached quickly by the staff and my order was ready when promised. The restaurant was clean and had a very authentic feel. The star of the meal was the flavorful Pho broth. The broth was rich and comforting without being overly salty. The Pho comes with 2 beef ribs that were tender, meaty, however lacked a bit of flavor. The noodles did not appear to be homemade, but held up well, and the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, and accompaniments helped round out the dish. I could have used a few more fresh herbs like basil on the side. The portion size was generous, very satisfying and made for a comforting meal. I was able to eat it over 2 occasions. Overall, Pho With Us delivered a solid pho experience with quality ingredients and convenient online ordering. If you're looking for a hearty bowl of pho and enjoy beef rib, this is definitely worth trying.

Short rib with no meat

Rare steak pho and the steak and brisket pho was fantastic, the short rib plate (I ordered 2 hours before closing) were one inch cuts with the bone so it had no meat on them. When I arrived for pick up, I was ignored and so was the lady in front of me despite no one coming in. After 10 min I was told to sit down, and watched him grab the food that was sitting there all along. When I asked about bean sprouts, lime etc he shrugged and walked away. So I opened the bag and it wasn't in there and came back in to get it. Amazing pho. Short ribs no meat, and undesirable service.

I love pho, and Pho With Us in Southpark Meadows has quickly become my go-to spot in South Austin. The service is quick and friendly, we are always seated immediately, and they keep it chilly inside for maximum pho enjoyment even through Texas summer! What more could you ask for? Pho With Us' food is awesome. My current pho fav is their Pho Ha Noi, which comes with chopped rare ribeye, brisket, a tea egg, and -- my favorite part -- a fluffy, crunchy bread stick for dipping in the pho. Despite being a popular Ha Noi specialty, I have yet to find another pho place in S. Austin that serves this dish, and probably will stop looking since I love Pho With Us' version so much. On our last visit, my friend and I split the soft spring roll with chicken to start, which came with a delightful savory peanut dipping sauce. Sooo good. My friend tried the orange chicken, and loved that too. Thankful for this solid pho spot in Southpark Meadows.

Got grilled pork banh mi for myself and meat lovers pho (for my husband) via Uber Eats. didn't get to take a pic but TRUST ME, this grilled pork banh mi was the best banh mi I've ever had. It is not the cheapest but the flavors and the sauce are top-notch. Just melts in my mouth. My husband doesn't normally love banh mi but he had a bite and was waiting for my leftovers hahaha! So, so good. Not exaggerating. Thank me later!! I believe there is a 30% discount going on through the app too.

Visited Austin and searched for a Vietnamese food place. We were happy to find this place. The service was friendly. The food came out quick. Seems like a pretty popular place. Nice mural on the wall. The soft spring roll was tasty with the peanut sauce for dipping. My husband liked his beef and shrimp bowl and fried Vietnamese egg rolls. I was surprised to have my curry tofu come out on a plate instead of a bowl, but the taste was there and the portion was right for lunch. More rice than I could eat though. They have plum wine which was a big plus. Not all restaurants have it available. I would definitely come back a second time. Super friendly and chill vibe.

i was convinced there was no good pho in austin.... but THIS IS THE BEST PHO IN THE ENTIRE CITY! pho with us is in south austin, with plenty of tables and a good vibe. service is great and we loved the food. everything was so flavorful and i highly recommend the pho with us pho. the meat was so tender it fell right off the bone, complete with a side of chili oil.

Delicious, and I can't wait to come back and try more things! I went here with my brother and immediately after eating told my husband we have to check it out together lol! I'm not exactly a pho connoisseur, but my brother got the house pho and we both agreed it was delicious! I am under the impression that a traditional pho broth is fairly lightly flavored, which was not the case here, but I thought it was very tasty. I got the absolute vermicelli and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed the Vietnamese eggroll, and when I had finished the egg roll, I put some of the dipping sauce over the noodles too. We also got the spicy garlic edamame (which may have been the favorite thing I ate) and I scraped some of the extra chili garlic into my noodles too, which was the chefs kiss XD seriously, I know I want to go back and try more things, but I think I'll have to get the spicy garlic edamame every time. We tried a couple of cocktails, which were pretty good, the espresso martini and the lychee martini. We arrived a little after seven and we were immediately sat at the bar, the restaurant was bustling, but there was definitely still open tables. The bartender service was friendly and prompt and the food came out quickly! Can't wait to come back and try more items!

Finally made the commute to check this place out on Easter Sunday. Even though it's way the heck down in south Austin, at least it's located inside a plaza so there was plenty of parking. We were seated right away but the service was actually quite slow. I think it took about 15-20 minutes for our pho to come out which is quite unusual for a pho place. I got the big Paul pho and my friend got the pho with us. The pho was amazing, no doubt about that. All the meat from the beef ribs to the brisket was cooked to perfection and the broth was so flavorful. We also got the Vietnamese spring rolls to share which is also delicious. The prices reasonable and the food is well portioned. We both ordered a separate dish to go since it was a quite a drive down here. If it weren't for the unusually slow service, I would give this place 5 stars.

Pho Ha Noi

I was in the mood for pho and found this place on Google. We arrived around 7 PM on a Friday and had a 15 minute wait. There were tables open but they were slow to bus them. Once we were seated, the service was good and friendly. The waitress suggested the pho Ha Noi and the French dip bahn mi. The pho was a ton of food for the price and was really good. The sandwich delivered as well. This is the best pho spot I've found in South Austin so far.

Pho with Us never disappoints! We started with the salt and pepper calamari and I highly recommend it. The calamari was perfectly crispy and tossed with caramelized onions, scallions, and cabbage. The flavors were bold and balanced, and the lemon dipping sauce paired great. For the main dish I had the Pho Meat Lovers and the broth was outstanding. To me, pho is all about the broth, and they simmer the broth for 24 hours which makes it incredibly aromatic and flavorful. The ingredients were fresh and everything came together so well. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the place is very clean, and they always make sure we have everything we need. Plenty of parking too! Pho with Us is consistently excellent and has definitely become my go-to spot.

Vermicelli Bowl

Authentic Viet food. They definitely came up with many Americanized dishes to match the local tastes, but they also nail the traditional dishes.

Online Menu and no salt and pepper lobster.
Bryan B.

Bao buns were soft and delicious!! The calamari was crunchy on the outside and slightly chewy but tender on the inside. Lobster Pho was great... You know what would have made it better? More lobster chunks from salt and pepper lobster...which is no longer being served. Apparently, lobster goes bad when no one orders it. Solution: Make it a special. Order Lobster Pho with salt and pepper lobster and get $2-$5 off salt and pepper lobster. Yes you lose from the salt and pepper lobster but you're up-selling the premium Lobster Pho instead of people just getting regular pho. I highly doubt those lobsters would still be rotting in storage after that. Hopefully, the bring it back. Sincerely, Lobster fanatic.

The bowl itself came loaded with meat--they definitely weren't skimping to save money here. The meat-to-noodle ratio felt great, and every bite actually had substance instead of leaving me fishing around for toppings. As for the broth, I landed somewhere in the middle. It wasn't quite as clear or light as I personally prefer, leaning toward a fattier, milkier undertone that almost reminded me of a Vietnamese pho take on tonkotsu. The flavor itself was undeniably very good, but the richness may have been a bit too much for me personally. One way I usually judge how much I love a pho broth is whether I want to sip the bowl down to the very end, and this one wasn't quite light enough for me to want to do that. I've had richer and deeper pho flavors elsewhere, but I still appreciated the flavor profile here and could absolutely see why this place is so popular. It feels hearty, comforting, and satisfying in a way that clearly resonates with many people. Despite how packed the restaurant was, the atmosphere ended up being surprisingly pleasant. Service moved very quickly, which honestly impressed me given how busy everything felt. Even with the crowd, I didn't dislike the spacing or setup at all--the restaurant still felt comfortable, and the sound of people enjoying their food all around added to the lively, welcoming energy rather than making it feel overwhelming. Overall, Pho Phong Lưu ended up being one of those places where I completely understood the hype, even if it didn't become my personal favorite pho spot. While the broth leaned richer than my preference, I still enjoyed the experience and definitely look forward to trying other dishes next time.

You place your order at the front before being seated, which was an easy process. The staff was friendly, and the food came out quickly. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue, and my husband ordered the Sip Pho. Both broths were rich and flavorful. The portions were generous, and they definitely did not skimp on the meat. My Bun Bo Hue came with a beef rib that was tender and delicious. One unique thing was the noodles in the Sip pho bowl--they were slightly thicker than vermicelli, which was different but not a big deal. For drinks, I ordered the Matcha Green Thai Tea. It had an interesting flavor combination, but the matcha taste was a bit overpowered by the green Thai tea. It was still enjoyable, though slightly too floral and sweet for my personal preference. The prices were very reasonable, and they offered a great variety of pho, vermicelli bowls, rice dishes, and appetizers. Next time I visit, I'd love to try the egg rolls since I noticed many people ordering them. The only downside was parking. There are about six spots in front of the restaurant, with additional parking in the back. It was a little difficult to find a spot, likely because we visited on a weekend.
