Heard so much about this All-Wagyu Pho spot and finally got a chance to visit it. My wife and I ordered the steak and shrimp egg-roll appetizer and a Rare Steak Pho large bowl each. Our kids were offered a complimentary kids pho each, which is incredibly thoughtful . Any kids that are ages 5 and below, get a free kids bowl of pho. Much respect to this establishment for doing that! The appetizer came with 4 egg rolls and they were very delicious. They were crispy on the outside and extremely tender and juicy on the inside. The ground wagyu beef definitely tasted the part, inside of the egg rolls. Then came the rare steak large bowls of pho. The broth looked and tasted very clean, without any bone pieces or residue and the broth didn't taste overly salty. You could tell that it's high quality and I was told by the waiter that they prepare it for more than 24 hours and sometimes for more than 30 hours. Our pho came with the thin noodles that we chose and with a generous portion of wagyu steak pieces. I must say that it's the tenderest, juiciest, yummiest pho steak that I've had. This wagyu steak really does stand out from the many hundreds of other pho spots in LA that offer rare steak in their pho howls. To complete my pho bowl, I added Thai basil, jalapeno pieces and their version of sriracha and hoisin sauce. What I got was an incredibly delicious bowl of pho and that wagyu steak did make me crave for more, when I get home. Curiosity (and mild delusion) led me to try the A5 wagyu pho here. I've visited a few times now, and the pho here is pretty solid. For a $50 bowl however, I was expecting a bit more wagyu, but the broth itself was pretty decent. I've also tried their egg rolls and truffle fries, both of which were delicious and perfectly crispy. I got the Pho with Short Rib Cubes and it tasted amazing! The meat was very tender and melted in my mouth, completely opposite from my initial thoughts of it being chewy and overcooked. It was soft and not chewy at it. I would say the soup was on bit on the saltier side and didn't have pho soup flavoring I was expecting. The inside was super clean and well kept. We have a lot of Vietnamese friends and their family home made Vietnamese food is always top notch, this is one of the few pho restaurants we've been to where it tasted abnormally good, the attention to detail being high. Thai tea: one of the best Thai teas ive ever had, you can tell they spent a lot of time choosing the right tea leaves and the correctt ratio for sugar, milk, star anise, and cloves. It came in a pre packaged bottle and I wish I ordered an extra one. Egg rolls: 4 per order. Well cooked and not too oily, this was probably the most normal part of our order but they were still so good we ate all of them. Pho: meat, noodles, and broth were higher than normal quality. As we were watching NG we kept asking each other "why is this so good" It's in a newly remodeled interior in the large plaza that I thought was in Huntington Beach. Many seats and good for big groups Service is quick, however I had to ask a few times to get some limes, because I like a lot of limes with my pho. This location doesn't have the Wagyu beef they cook, but they have just about everything else. I'm a rare steak pho gal, and that's what I ordered. The meat was tender, and the soup tasty. Their truffle fries I think is what we got, is delicious. We ordered two of those after finishing the first one. I'd definitely come back to this spot.
