I got the pho dac biet($16) and iced coffee ($6). Coffee came out in about 5 mins and tasted quite good, but surprisingly it didn't give me a usually good caffeine high compared to other viet coffee for some reason. I barely felt any. But that sea salt foam was delicious! The pho was a sweeter broth which I'm not a personal fan of (I prefer a savory broth) meat was good. Good vibes here, it's just unfortunate that they serve a sweeter pho and it's just not my preference. Overall a solid restaurant, id check it out only if you like a sweeter pho. Food(50%): 6.2 Staff/service(25%): 7.0 Value(25%): 6.0 Overall: 6.4/10
We were sad to discover that our go-to spot for pho, Pho 75 Dulles, had closed. My husband set out to find another spot for good pho. He came across Pho-nomenal and saw it had good reviews. So, we gave it a try. We were here for an early dinner on a Saturday. The place wasn't bustling at the time, but it still took the server quite a while to come and take our order. Thankfully, my husband noticed that when ordering Pho Ga here, you have to specify whether you want white or dark meat chicken. Pho Ga is my favorite way to order pho, and I like to have white meat. So, I ordered a bowl. My husband likes shrimp in his pho, so that's what he ordered. He also ordered a glass of ginger ale while stuck with water. Once we placed our order, we had a longish wait for the food. We noticed that they do a brisk takeout business. That explains the long wait. As for the pho, it comes in one size: a large bowl. We thought that they could have given us more aromatics. When we got home, it was then that I realized just how salty the pho was. I ended up guzzling water. When it was time to pay the bill, the server took a while to bring it. My husband thought that they were understaffed. As for ambiance, it definitely feels like a pho place, even though they do have other entrees.
I came in once just to grab boba because I was craving some taro milk tea. It wasn't a long wait to get my drink, even though they had a full house and a lot of people coming in and out for mobile and takeaway orders. The service was quick and good. The staff were polite and efficient. The dining area was clean and organized even though they did have a full house. The taro milk tea was pretty good. The only thing I was disappointed about was the amount of ice in it. It was pretty much a whole cup of ice, so by the time I got back to my car, my drink was actually more than halfway gone. Otherwise, it tasted really good. I haven't tried their pho, which people seem to really love. It smelled really good in there, so I think one day, I'll come in and actually dine in and try some of their dishes.
We ordered from here and the service was quick! The food arrived nice and hot and it was very delicious! My friend ordered the beef Ramen and I ordered the chicken Ramen and a side of pork. We each ordered summer rolls and all of it was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be ordering from here again.
Stopped in for dinner prior to seeing a movie at the local Alamo Drafthouse. The staff were amiable enough, not overtly friendly, but courteous and patient, and sat me immediately. The dining room is rather plain in appearance, though it was quite clean. (I don't usually factor this in to my ratings unless it is unsightly, which certainly was not!) Ordered the gói cuôn (summer rolls) and phó ga (chicken phó). The summer rolls were decent; not super fresh or flavorful, but with a decent texture and portion for the price, and with a delectable peanut sauce including crushed peanuts.The phó was quite flavorful, savory and hearty with nice portions of chicken, onion and herbs, though I would have appreciated some more scallions. The meal was served with Thai basil, a lemon wedge and bean sprouts (unfortunately a bit too bitter, which tells me they weren't super fresh either), which were a welcome accoutrement. Overall, a solid experience for a local phó eatery; would mostly recommend trying to source fresher veggies if at all possible.
So I've been here x2 now and I ate in the 1st time and did Togo my 2nd time. The 1st time, I got Beef Pho, shrimp rolls, and with a Mango Lemonade. The Pho was great! I loved it! I went during lunch so it was busy. But I was sat right away. The service was very attentive and the food came quick. The lemonade was decent. They have a wide variety menu and they have a light up board that showcases all their drinks. On my 2nd visit I got Beef Pho and the Honey Lavender Limeade! This limeade was a 10/10. I definitely enjoyed this one more than the Mango Lemonade. The Togo Pho came with the broth separate and all the noodles and fixings in a bowl. This is the first Togo Pho I've had where they actually give you a bowl to eat it out of out instead of that big white container. Even Togo the Pho was still very enjoyable. I will definitely be back, this place is def worth a try as the name says it all.....it is really PHOnomenal!
My wife and I took an unexpected date night to Pho-Nomenal after some daytime pho cravings. Coincidentally, I did not get pho but she did. Everything I got was fried. The fried rice, the spring rolls, and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were good but they looked a bit different than the photos online. Overall meal and service was great. Will definitely be going back in the near future.
Great food, drinks and service! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious and quick. We ordered two lavender limeade drinks, spring rolls with shrimp, pho and bun bo hue. The lychee lavender limeade came with popping bubbles at the bottom. The honey lavender limeade didn't come with any toppings, and was a little sweeter than the lychee drink. The summer rolls were pretty comparable to other pho restaurants. The pho bo vien (meatball) was decently portioned as well. I probably would've like a little more noodles, but it had a good amount of meatballs. The bun bo hue was also pretty spicy. Overall, if you are craving warm soup on a cold day, this is great spot in the area. They have so many pretty drinks that are worth trying.
My husband and I are so grateful to have discovered this place while visiting! The service was great, the pho was AMAZING, and it's a cute/cozy atmosphere inside as well. HIGHLY recommend!!! My husband and I both customized our phos-- I couldn't decide between two so they split them for me and I'm so glad they did! The beef brisket pho was SO good. You can choose between the chicken broth or the beef broth-- my husband had the beef broth and I had the chicken broth, we each thoroughly enjoyed our choices. We also each got a bubble tea and enjoyed it. They do have a nondairy option for the milk tea upon request-- normally it is made with whole milk.
The place is clean. Service was slow. We ordered a drink that we had to ask about and it came only after we got the food. The food was okay, the banh mi sandwich the bread was super crunchy and not flavorful at all. The pho broth was good but everything else was lacking flavor especially for Vietnamese food. The server never came to ask us how the food was. Not sure why the ratings are this high but this restaurant is not a repeat for me.

Loved Ms. Chloe's services. I just needed to grab a to go box before they closed (long trip ahead for a single mom with 2 kids ) but she got us up to speed and even gave my kids halloween candies this really made our night. This place is a terrific spot to go to for lunch. There is plenty of parking (garage parking and outdoor). There are tons of other stores and restaurants around the shopping center but I had a fever for some Pho. The broth was so good. I am a sucker for great broth in Pho. Their recipe and process I spot on. The egg rolls could have been better but they were not bad. I always get sirloin, tripe, and add fish balls. It was the perfect meal before boarding my flight. If I am ever back in Virginia I will come here again. read more

My wife and mother in law wanted Vietnamese food. We usually visit Saigon Outcast or Chopstix but wanted something new. Yelp folks gave this place high marks. Parking is a challenge especially for the handicap(my in law) so a drop off parking space would have been ideal. There is garage parking behind the restaurant. The menu is pretty large. They do a QR code menu but you can also ask for a hardcopy. The hardcopy menu has older pricing so keep that in mind. I started with an order of A.9 which is the grilled beef wrapped around grilled onions. This was excellent. I highly recommend it to the keto diner. I ordered the number 4- pho. The portion was gigantic and the flavor was very tasty. I was not a fan of the meatball but all the other meats in the pho were excellent. Service was very good. read more
Swung by for a pick up order of bun thit nuong with spring roll aka beef vermicelli noodles with spring roll. Nicely packaged, full of flavor from the beef, portion was good, satisfied my cravings. If you are carrying out, check your bag for utensils, they said it was in there but he did a check for me and it wasn't. I definitely come back next time to try other menu items. read more
Visited on a weeknight around 530pm for dinner. I think I got in before the dinner rush, as I was seated quickly and ordered the "Make Your Own" Pho with Tai, Chin, and Bo Vien meat. My server was very friendly and accommodating. There's only one size bowl you can order which helps simplify things a bit. The pho came out quickly, with equal amounts of broth, noodles, and meat. The broth was not as rich/dense as some may be used to but still had flavor. It should be noted that given the area expect to pay the cAshburn upcharge. All said and done my meal ended up costing around $20, but you'd be hard pressed to find anything under $15 in NoVA anyway. This wasn't a mind-blowing experience by any means but a hearty bowl of pho on a cooler Winter weeknight hit the spot when it needed to. Support small businesses! read more

My recent visit to Pho-nomenal truly lived up to its name. The pleasant and friendly service, along with quick and accurate orders coming out, made the dining experience enjoyable. Great location being in One Loudoun. I got the shrimp pho, while my girlfriend ate the vegetarian pho. Our appetizers, spring rolls and summer rolls, were delicious as always. Great service during Valentine's Day with a free dessert for couples. We ordered chicken pho with extra noodles and my husband ordered vermicelli with spring eggrolls. The boba that we got were delicious, fresh chewy and sweet just like it should be. Fresh food, good service, and great ambience. Will come back again when we are in town. read more

Quick sit down type of vibe. We were immediately sat at a table and given menus. The broth in the pho was so tasty and serving sizes were good but a little overpriced compared to other places I've been. We also ordered two Banh Mi sandwhiches, a pork and a "traditional". The traditional did not have pate on it even though it stated it would on the menu. Would return. read more

This spot is well worth it, and out of my 20+ experiences here I can't complain. One of my favorite local Pho go-tos. We both ordered the pho tai nam, and the food was out in about 5 minutes, even with how busy they were! Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday, but once you order the food it's not too surprising. Menu selection is moderately extensive, the tables were all clean, the staff were friendly, the mints were full. I'm not a safety inspector but I just needed to add more words here (nothing much else to say). Definitely recommend making a trip here if you're local, or visiting. Tom - this is Michael. I came here based on fellow Yelpers. This time it was a disappointment. I wish we could sort reviews by ethnicity when reading reviews. We ordered the following: Rice dishes - the rice special (com dac biet): comes with a fried egg on top of the rice, grilled beef, grilled pork, grilled chicken, and crispy bean curd, served with the nuoc nam (dipping sauce). The egg was cooked perfectly. That was the only thing positive about the taste of this dish. - Grilled pork chops with rice - Grilled chicken with rice Although the food was plated well and looked appealing, the grilled meats had a grilled flavor but no other taste. None of the meat tasted like they were pre-marinated at all. I was so disappointed. This was the worse Vietnamese grilled dish I have ever had. They charged for extra nuoc nam, which I have never been charged before. The amount they gave was less than half of the small bowl they served the sauce. All the rice dishes came with a bowl of soup, which tasted bland and blah. Pho: pho dac biet: Pho with all beef meat, including tripe, don't remember it having any tendons. The soup broth was substandard, which is what makes this soup. In fact, the aroma outside the restaurant had a better smell of the usual broth spices (i.e. star anise, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and coriander seeds) than the actual aroma and taste of the broth I received. Another huge disappointment. FYI: There was a charge for the to-go container. The prices were a bit higher than most Vietnamese restaurants. Maybe it's the location. I don't mind higher prices, but not for underwhelming tasting food. Service was mediocre. read more

I visited here with a friend for pho. This was her first time trying pho. It was ok but not my favorite pho in the area for the taste/price. I got the meatball pho. The broth is a little on the sweet side and had reasonable portion but not much Thai basil or sprouts to add. We also tried the spring rolls. The peanut sauce is delicious. This is the best peanut sauce I've ever had! So if you're coming here, definitely try that. read more

Placed an order for pho to go- over the phone. It was a little frustrating to get across our very simple order but managed to finally. The restaurant is conveniently located in one Loudoun and was easy to find with plenty of parking around. The restaurant itself looked clean and organized. The confusion continued a fair bit when I was trying to pick up my order, but luckily resolved within minutes. The pho was still pipping hot after a 25 minute drive! Instead of yellow onion, there were red onions in the pho. I personally enjoyed it even though the broth was a little too clean than what I am used to. I've found my new pho spot when I'm in Loudoun county area! read more

Hands down the best Pho in town. My go to place when I want really good pho. Their name holds true to what they serve. Not just pho though, as they have a good assortment of Vietnamese dishes on the menu. A wide variety of rolls, chicken wings, salads, and rice dishes to choose from. The quality of food is great and always consistent when I eat here or get take out. The portions are good for the price point. I will say they are a few dollars more than some other pho places in the area for similar named dishes. But if you compare what you are actually getting, you will easily see why. For example, just because two places serve a seafood pho, it doesn't mean you are getting the same amount of types of seafood in it. It's never been an issue to customize any dish with removing or adding ingredients. The staff have always been very friendly and attentive. Majority of the time I get food to go. It's easy to order online, food is prepared quickly and packaged well. Inside is very basic decor and seating. Nothing fancy, but I like to think of it as all their effort is going into the food, not making the place look fancier than it needs to be. Very casual and relaxed. read more

Pho-nomenal is phenomenal indeed! I've been craving Pho and was so glad to see this restaurant offering take out during COVID-19. Placed an order online and it was ready in no time. The owner is so kind and welcoming. Everything we ordered was wrapped up neatly. Their Pho is delicious, the broth has great depth of flavor. They offer a variety of other dishes as well, which were flavorful. Portions are generous as well. We are fans! read more

Healthy, vegetarian, delicious! If you're thinking about covid-19, like we are, then eating healthy and safe guarding your exposure are probably at the top of your mind. Fresh ingredients and full flavor are what we've found working our way through their menu specifically for vegetarians. Really really delicious vegetarian pho, fried rice, pad Thai, and mixed vegetables. They are our go to place for Vietnamese food and Thai milk tea which is not overly sweet and a healthier alternative to sugary versions. Tonight we arrived and excitedly raced out of our car too eager to get to eating and forgetting to grab our masks. Upon entering the restaurant we were offered free masks. As the CDC recommends the use of face masks to minimize exposure we were impressed by the preparedness of this business to protect both us and their staff. Taking care of each other is the best outcome from this pandemic. We have seen how businesses and individuals have risen to that call. Taking care of businesses that take care of us is not new but Now is the time we all need to do our part. Eat local, eat delicious, and stay safe here. read more

I forgot to take pictures because the food looked so good! It was a rainy evening today, and my friends and I decided to go to Phonomenal. I got the pho special and eating it brought me back to eating authentic pho in Vietnam. Although the food was really good, Phonomenal should expand their smoothie variety. I love avocado smoothies and wish this place had it. The service was very attentive and was catered to my every need. I got to meet one of the workers here, Tom, who enhanced my experience here greatly. Out of all the pho places in the area I recommend Phonomenal as a top pick. You're paying for the location in One Loudoun because the pho here is pretty expensive...moreover, one of the ways they try to make more money is only having one size for pho (rounded up, $13 for a bowl of pho dac biet). That's pretty steep since I can go to somewhere with just as good broth and get a regular size bowl of pho for $7-$9. Anyway, besides pricing, on to quality of food! I would say, despite the overcharge, AT LEAST they don't skimp on food - which is why I can rate this fairly. They definitely give you lots of noodles and lots of meats. The cuts and quality of meat was by far one of the best I've had. However, the broth was sort of bland and just alright to me. I had to douse it in sriracha and hoisin sauce to give it flavor...was also looking for the fish sauce to help the taste too, but there was none :/ Would I come here again? For sure if I'm craving pho and it's convenient, but probably won't be my go to spot for pho. My sister and I was also looking at other stuff on the menu and $5 for a side of spring rolls or summer rolls...big yikes. Which is why we only went with our bowls of pho. Luckily we did too because the bowl was so big we couldn't finish it (as mentioned earlier, we usually only get a regular size for pho. If you usually get a large, you might be fine). With that being said, I do want to support this restaurant and glad despite the price overcharges, the quality and amount of food is fair. read more

We've avoided coming here since they never had outdoor seating during this pandemic. Today we finally pickup up 2 dishes to try them out. The pork chops were plentiful and tender, and the grilled shrimp was cooked well and flavorful as well. The food got cooked in about 20 mins and I was able to pick it up near the front door itself. We are looking forward to trying some pho noodles here once we start going inside restaurants. read more

Decided to check this place out for the first time on my birthday and it did not disappoint! Everyone's food was excellent and there is a great variety of things to choose from on the menu.
