Visited on a weeknight around 530pm for dinner. I think I got in before the dinner rush, as I was seated quickly and ordered the "Make Your Own" Pho with Tai, Chin, and Bo Vien meat. My server was very friendly and accommodating. There's only one size bowl you can order which helps simplify things a bit. The pho came out quickly, with equal amounts of broth, noodles, and meat. The broth was not as rich/dense as some may be used to but still had flavor. It should be noted that given the area expect to pay the cAshburn upcharge. All said and done my meal ended up costing around $20, but you'd be hard pressed to find anything under $15 in NoVA anyway. My wife and mother in law wanted Vietnamese food. We usually visit Saigon Outcast or Chopstix but wanted something new. Yelp folks gave this place high marks. Parking is a challenge especially for the handicap(my in law) so a drop off parking space would have been ideal. There is garage parking behind the restaurant. The menu is pretty large. They do a QR code menu but you can also ask for a hardcopy. The hardcopy menu has older pricing so keep that in mind. I started with an order of A.9 which is the grilled beef wrapped around grilled onions. This was excellent. I highly recommend it to the keto diner. I ordered the number 4- pho. We ordered the following: Rice dishes - the rice special (com dac biet): comes with a fried egg on top of the rice, grilled beef, grilled pork, grilled chicken, and crispy bean curd, served with the nuoc nam (dipping sauce). The egg was cooked perfectly. That was the only thing positive about the taste of this dish. - Grilled pork chops with rice - Grilled chicken with rice Although the food was plated well and looked appealing, the grilled meats had a grilled flavor but no other taste. None of the meat tasted like they were pre-marinated at all. I was so disappointed. This was the worse Vietnamese grilled dish I have ever had. They charged for extra nuoc nam, which I have never been charged before. The amount they gave was less than half of the small bowl they served the sauce. All the rice dishes came with a bowl of soup, which tasted bland and blah. Pho: pho dac biet: Pho with all beef meat, including tripe, don't remember it having any tendons. The soup broth was substandard, which is what makes this soup. In fact, the aroma outside the restaurant had a better smell of the usual broth spices (i.e. star anise, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, and coriander seeds) than the actual aroma and taste of the broth I received. Another huge disappointment. FYI: There was a charge for the to-go container. The prices were a bit higher than most Vietnamese restaurants. Maybe it's the location. Hands down the best Pho in town. My go to place when I want really good pho. Their name holds true to what they serve. Not just pho though, as they have a good assortment of Vietnamese dishes on the menu. A wide variety of rolls, chicken wings, salads, and rice dishes to choose from. The quality of food is great and always consistent when I eat here or get take out. The portions are good for the price point. I will say they are a few dollars more than some other pho places in the area for similar named dishes. But if you compare what you are actually getting, you will easily see why. For example, just because two places serve a seafood pho, it doesn't mean you are getting the same amount of types of seafood in it. It's never been an issue to customize any dish with removing or adding ingredients. The staff have always been very friendly and attentive. Majority of the time I get food to go. It's easy to order online, food is prepared quickly and packaged well. Inside is very basic decor and seating. Nothing fancy, but I like to think of it as all their effort is going into the food, not making the place look fancier than it needs to be. Very casual and relaxed. read more

Since I don't live around this area, but love so many of their food options up here I try to grab grub to take home when in the area. I was there during lunchtime, so I grabbed a couple chicken pho entrées to bring home for dinner. I live about an hour and a half from here, so after getting home I had to reheat the broth for dinner and it was beyond excellent! I also got an extra broth and we heated all of it up and poured it over the cold chicken/accoutrements and that hot broth heated up the dish perfectly! Their broth is some of the absolutely BEST we've ever had! No grease/bubbles in it, but packed with flavor. The smell was a perfect balance of star anise and other spices and the flavor was balanced and perfectly matched! We agreed that this is easily in the top 3 of Pho that we've ever had! I visited here with a friend for pho. This was her first time trying pho. It was ok but not my favorite pho in the area for the taste/price. I got the meatball pho. The broth is a little on the sweet side and had reasonable portion but not much Thai basil or sprouts to add. We also tried the spring rolls. The peanut sauce is delicious. I got the pho special and eating it brought me back to eating authentic pho in Vietnam. Although the food was really good, Phonomenal should expand their smoothie variety. Healthy, vegetarian, delicious! If you're thinking about covid-19, like we are, then eating healthy and safe guarding your exposure are probably at the top of your mind. Fresh ingredients and full flavor are what we've found working our way through their menu specifically for vegetarians. Really really delicious vegetarian pho, fried rice, pad Thai, and mixed vegetables. They are our go to place for Vietnamese food and Thai milk tea which is not overly sweet and a healthier alternative to sugary versions. Tonight we arrived and excitedly raced out of our car too eager to get to eating and forgetting to grab our masks. Upon entering the restaurant we were offered free masks. As the CDC recommends the use of face masks to minimize exposure we were impressed by the preparedness of this business to protect both us and their staff. Taking care of each other is the best outcome from this pandemic. We have seen how businesses and individuals have risen to that call. You're paying for the location in One Loudoun because the pho here is pretty expensive...moreover, one of the ways they try to make more money is only having one size for pho (rounded up, $13 for a bowl of pho dac biet). That's pretty steep since I can go to somewhere with just as good broth and get a regular size bowl of pho for $7-$9. Anyway, besides pricing, on to quality of food! I would say, despite the overcharge, AT LEAST they don't skimp on food - which is why I can rate this fairly. They definitely give you lots of noodles and lots of meats. The cuts and quality of meat was by far one of the best I've had. However, the broth was sort of bland and just alright to me. I had to douse it in sriracha and hoisin sauce to give it flavor...was also looking for the fish sauce to help the taste too, but there was none :/ Would I come here again? For sure if I'm craving pho and it's convenient, but probably won't be my go to spot for pho. My sister and I was also looking at other stuff on the menu and $5 for a side of spring rolls or summer rolls...big yikes. Which is why we only went with our bowls of pho. Luckily we did too because the bowl was so big we couldn't finish it (as mentioned earlier, we usually only get a regular size for pho. If you usually get a large, you might be fine). I sent an email to management directly about this, but didn't receive a response so I'm posting my review here. This was my first time coming to this restaurant, but I had seen great reviews and was in the mood for some pho after work. Everything was fine when I entered and gave my order. The wait staff seemed a little rushed, but I figured it was because they might be a short-staffed. The unfortuante experience occurred when my waiter started to pass around balloons to all the women in the restaurant and deliberately skipped me. At first, I thought he ran out, but he tied the rest of them to a flower pot right across from my table. I couldn't help but notice that I was the only Black person eating at the restaurant at the time and couldn't help but shake the feeling that this behavior was racial discrimination. It definitely made me feel like I wasn't welcomed at this restaurant. What escalated that feeing was when said waiter came and flippantly asked me was I ready for my bill. I complied in order to not cause a scene and even tipped 20%, but I will not patronize this restaurant again. My money is just as good as anyone else's and I will not pay to be made to feel unwelcome. read more
