    Chao Long!

Porridge is a little sweet and salty. The menu listed $16.75 per order. But she charged $19.75 with tax so it's around almost $21. When asked she said because I ordered togo. Well! She charged $3 extra for Togo orders? So check your bills before paying them. I don't highly recommend this restaurant due to their dishonesty. I won't come back here and also our family/friends as well. Good luck to your business! And Don't tried to do business in the cheating way to make just a couple of dollars. Treat people with honesty that will help your business grow.

Great service, great food. Cleaner than before the name change. Although prices increased, they're still very cheap compared to other more known and overhyped places. True hole in the wall, mom & pop shop. Thumbs up!

The customer service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. It's a small restaurant with limited seating. Pho was rich and flavorful. Parking is limited, and it can get crowded.

I always am in this plaza and have noticed this pho Resturant always busy IM THE CORNER I had never tried this place and today I decided to do so As soon as you come to the door the aromas are sooo amazing . I talked to the owner who let me know they have been here over 8 years and I asked what sge recommend recommended . She recommended the combination for which has all the meats so I purchased to go there were people coming in and starting to come in for dine in. I noticed that the bowls the fubo's are huge, which is awesome. I didn't wait very long for my order to be done. I would say less than 10 minutes. I live nearby so I went home and I warmed up the broth prepared my bowl and let me just say it was delicious. It had oxtail and I have round and tender in and just all the meats that are on the menu. The price was 1950 which was well worth it and I will be back. The broth was so good so if you live nearby, please come and try this family own restaurant. You will not regret it. there's outside seating if you wanna sit outside the place is nice and clean. The waiters are I seen attend the customers quickly they went water food, really nice relaxing family atmosphere or you can come with friends or by yourself I will say you will not regret it I myself plan on dining in next time this little hidden gem

Beef Pho with fatty broth added (for more flavor), liver with ginger sauce, fresh pork blood

Clear, rich, clean, savory broth. Regular noodles are springy and chewy, cooked perfectly. Fresh noodles are soft and good. Meat is good. Lots of options including oxtail. If you add fatty broth the soup becomes richer. The pork organs they use in their weekend porridge are very fresh. The pork blood is soft like tofu. The water is clean tasting, and their Vietnamese coffee is made to order in those French style drippers.

If you're looking for just pho and no sides this location is perfect for you! It's a cozy and smaller restaurant located in east San Jose! I ordered the Oxtail Pho and unfortunately the Oxtail wasn't as tender and expected it to be. It did not fall off the bone but it was still flavorful. They're known for their fresh noodles and they were absolutely delicious. Staff was friendly and accommodating, frequently checked on us and topped up our water

Staff was sick (cold, plenty of cough +sneezing) Food was fine. I'm not sure if there is regulation on if restaurants should run with sick staff.

Porridge with Pork Organs (Weekend special)

My go-to comfort food for healing in San Jose. $26/person including taxes. Like visiting an aunty when I felt sick. I woke up with inkling for some warm comfort food so I started my search for something soupy that's open early in San Jose. From the parking lot, this place appears intimidating for a first-time non-Vietnamese. But when I entered the door, it was like enterIng Narnia. The ambiance was quiet yet has classy elegance where middle-age couples, older singles and hipsters bringing their grandparents filling up tables. As I was approaching my table, I didn't realize I was selecting my menu. The tables clearly were filled with regulars who knew what they liked and how to order. The clean bones and dishes spoke for themselves. I sat down looking through the menu and The Weekend Specials stood out. Every table had an order of Long Chinese Donut. So that was a no brainer. Duh, of course when the waitress asked me what I'd like with her broken English, I ordered with body lady language pointing at the next table, "that one, it looks good" the porridge" whatever the other adjacent tables are having. It's an obvious choice. She showed me it was the weekend special indeed. I am so proud that I made a good choice. I totally knew what I ordered lol I am appreciative that they went for the mile and blanched the bean sprouts. I mean, everyone like me could use an extra umph in their daily fiber. So, I happily added that into my porridge too. I'm so glad they thinly sliced the organs since I'd pick out the ones I didn't like as a kid hehehe. But the porridge was thick and the seasoning was well-balanced to make it easy for me to be indifferent and finish my bowl. I had a hot tea and ordered a Salted Plum Soda drink and I requested it with no ice since my throat was itchy this morning. It helped. Home remedy, I don't know, at least I would like to believe it helps. Maybe it did but maybe it did not. Who knows but it was money well spent. The scrumptious crunch and the scent of the softness of the Chinese donut hmmm... I wish they could open a pop-up next to my house every weekend. I think it would be like visiting an auntie, making me eat more veggies, and drinking healthy drink. I'd come back again for their Hunan chicken rice, another weekend special.

    Delicious beef stew!

My husband's Chai was a bit too milky, reading other reviews it seems like we should have ordered it extra strong so we'd have a bit more spice. He finished it quickly and ended up asking me if I could look up a new spot that might have a better Chai. My flat white was good, and I sipped it slower before we ventured off to our second coffee shop of the morning. Definitely a cute little cafe, but it's worth asking extra questions about their items to make sure you're ordering right for your tastes. For lovers of spicy Chai, ask for extra spice here.

Once seated, it took the waitress a good 10 minutes to come over to our table. When she finallty did, she was going to leave without asking if we wanted to order drinks, we had to call her back. The food took a while also. Not once did she come back to check on us to see if we wanted another drink while we were waiting. She was nice enough, and maybe this is her first wait job, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. However, we noticed quite a few of the staff were just standing around. Hats off to the person who does their Instagram - they make the place look huge, but it's not. Everyone at the table said their dish was very tasty. You HAVE to try the ftench toast a try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant struck the perfect balance of an energetic, vibrant atmosphere set against an elegant, earthy, warm backdrop. It manages to feel both incredibly lively and deeply welcoming all at once. The service here was impeccable. Cynthia and Lawrence provided seamless, white-glove service that was attentive without ever feeling stiff--they made our family feel like the most important table in the room. The true highlight of the evening, however, was Chef Nicko. We were able to meet him and benefit from hearing him describe the ingredients of our plates with a level of detail that almost makes each part of the recipe come alive. He also added the occasional history and inspiration behind a plate. Hearing the stories behind the food transformed an extraordinary menu into an unforgettable narrative experience. What made the night truly magical was how the food shifted the entire dynamic at the table. Our usual family dinner conversation completely dissolved, refocused entirely around each plate as it arrived. It felt like my family transformed instantly to a group of passionate foodies, analyzing textures, debating flavor profiles, and marveling at the presentation. With a meal this spectacular, it is nearly impossible to pick out a single "best" plate. Instead, if I were returning for a solo dinner and had to build my ultimate dream menu, here is exactly what I would order: To Start: the marinated olives, the pristine crudo, and the perfectly prepared octopus. The Main Event: A split pasta course of the rich tagliatelle and ravioli, followed by the filet mignon and the spectacular bone-in pork chop. The Finale: You cannot leave without ordering both the bright lemon pie and the classic, decadent tiramisu. If you are looking for more than just a meal, but a memory that will completely captivate your table, visit Eos & Nyx. We will be talking about this night for a very long time.

The chorizo & eggs weren't overly greasy & the tortillas were good. My partner ordered the steak sandwich. 4.5/5 Flavor was amazing. The steak was a little chewy. The sauce on the side complimented it very well but not necessary as the flavor of the steak was great by itself. I ordered a strawberry mimosa, as well. It was really lacking for me. I ordered waffles with a side of bacon and berries. The berries were fresh and the bacon was cooked perfectly, but the waffle came out extremely hard -- almost like a plate. My spouse ordered eggs, potatoes, and a side of bacon. He clearly explained how he wanted his order, but it came out with hash browns and bacon instead. Again, the bacon was actually very good, but the rest of the dish missed the mark. One thing I did appreciate is that they are very welcoming to furbabies and even offer a special menu for them, which is a nice touch for pet owners. Overall, the atmosphere and service were great, but the food quality and order accuracy could definitely use some improvement.
