Bone marrow

It is located at Pacific Mall and easy to find. Ambiance: it's good and spacious. We took a booth seat and the table was huge. Washroom is clean. They have a patio area as well but since it was raining and chilly, it wasn't open. Service: quick service. You use the bell to get Service and the servers tell you to use it from the get go. Food: Ordered a large house special pho, bone marrow, fresh shrimp rolls and a tofu dessert. The pho was a huge portion. The broth was clear. The sauce for the shrimp rolls were great. You get a big long piece of chive though with each roll. I liked the dessert. It wasn't that sweet and was cold enough to cool us down after a hot meal. Overall: 4/5 - will definitely come back

Came here for some lunch today, as I have been meaning to give it a try. Firstly when you walk in, you will notice the beautiful decorations and lights. This place is very clean. Staff were really good here. Attentive and very polite. I would say very good service. Now for the food. I had a bun bo hue (#18). Noodles were quite tasty. Decent size portion with lots of goodies. The Vietnamese ham, could have had a bit more flavour but overall quite a tasty dish. My wife has the pho bat da. It presented really well and she found it tasty. Portion was pretty big and she shared it with the kids. Beautiful presentation served in a stone pot. We also got a fresh roll which was good but a bit pricy at $8. The kids liked it though so maybe worth the $8? My daughter had a pork chop rice. This was huge. You get a lot of food, tasty porkchops, lots of fixens. This is enough for 2 people. My daughter really enjoyed it. The pork was cooked well and very juicy. Also got an ice coffee, which was $6.50. This one was a bit of a miss. If was mostly condensed milk. Not very much coffee and was way to sweet. Ask for less condensed milk if you order it, my drink was pretty much white. We only drank half of it. I didn't say anything to the staff, they were so friendly I'm sure they would have made it right. I would just ask for less sugar next time. I would go again. Like I said place is very clean, and I would probably say cleanest washrooms at a pho place in the area. Definately worth a visit.

My dad found this place first, and based on reviews, we decided to give it a try. My dad and I ordered the same thing, the Special--all-meat noodle soup--while my mom ordered a different one, bún bò huế. Both tasted good, but I was more surprised they had beef tripe, as most Vietnamese restaurants say they don't. I even ordered the Thai milk tea, and I have to say it's pretty good too. The service was satisfactory; I have no complaints. They were very efficient, and I can't wait for them to have the drink I want, sinh tố mãng cầu (soursop milkshake). I ordered takeout, grilled pork with rice. It tasted good too, but would be better if eaten there as it was a bit too oily. Overall, everything was good, and the place wasn't loud, so everyone could talk to each other.

Nice new Vietnamese restaurant! We came by chance on the last day of the soft opening. Excellent service, comfortable to sit in, and food was as good as you'd expect. Only feedback would be the restaurant was a bit cold. Will come back for sure!

My recent visit to @phongondatviet_pacificmall did not disappoint! The space is massive and very nicely decorated, it's really hard to believe it used to be a shoe store. However, it did feel a bit chilly when I was there, so maybe the HVAC could use some work. Service was friendly and attentive, we went for a weekday lunch and were seated pretty quickly with no wait. The food itself was delicious, quality and portions were all decent, in fact my beef short rib and eggs rice lasted me 2 meals and during the soft opening period we got 10% off! All in all a great experience, definitely recommend checking this spot out.

Came here with my family and enjoyed the pho and the buttered calamari. The stone pot makes the broth very hot. They also serve a lobster which out of my budget lol

Today was Tuesday, so we were good to go. The promo was $25 including 1 bowl of noodle, 1 bowl of clay pot rice with meat and 1 of snack dishes. We could choose them from the special menu. We chose the beef noodle soup, chicken & mushroom clay pot with soup, and the snack was the deep fried wonton. The wonton was great, so delicious and my little one loved it so much; the beef noodle soup was ok, but only a few pieces of beef and radish; the clay pot was the most I like, when I put the soy sauce in, the pot was boiling. That's so nice. That also caused the crackers at the bottom. That's really amazing. We also got a little bowl of the seaweed soup for the clay pot. So nice. This special deal was so good that enough for all of us. Next time, I would like to try other options.

Came here to try their $25 double combo and it did not disappoint!…read more For just $25, you get a full meal for two -- including hand-pulled noodles, a claypot dish, and a snack. The Lanzhou noodles had a great chewy texture and tasted super fresh. The claypot rice was warm, savory, and had that nice crispy bottom layer which made it extra satisfying. Portions are generous and the flavors feel very authentic and comforting -- like a home-cooked meal. It's a great budget-friendly option in Markham, especially if you're dining with a friend or partner. Definitely a hidden gem for cheap eats. Would recommend if you're craving noodles and claypot rice without spending too much!

Staff are super friendly, and quick with the orders and food - similar to what you'd expect at most HK cafes in the area. The service was pretty good, lots of staff, they were all fast and friendly. I got the hot and sour (one spice level) and the soup had the perfect fish and sourness. The spiciness was very mild. It had a good amount of fish, silky tofu and vegetables. I also love their rice noodle! My partner got the hot and sour (two spice level) and I don't know what happened.... It tasted so bad. Would thought it would be a spicier version of mine but his soup lacked fish flavour, sourness, spiciness - it was so bland. I would definitely be back and re-order what I got today. I also tried the original fish soup noodle and that one was good too. I would avoid the hot and sour (two spice level) at all cost...

Peking duck -- spend $69.99 and get it for $29.99 2. Sweet & sour pork -- spend $30 and get it for 9.99 until April 30 Because I wanted that Peking duck, I convinced my mom we could "totally finish all this food between the two of us." Let's just say... we did not finish it, but I definitely did my part . The duck wrappers were separated with dim sum liners so they didn't stick -- and they were so soft. Everything was delicious, and now I'm wondering why we haven't come here sooner . The staff was amazing and very attentive and the restaurant was clean. I will be back again with more people next time.

It had an ancient Chinese theme and the seating was very comfortable with these really long tables. The service was quite standard and typical. Nothing amazing. We ordered a few dishes including the Shrimp Rice Roll, Beef ho fun, Grouper tofu pot, Braised Pork Hock and their Minced Beef Egg Clay pot rice. The Shrimp rice roll was quite soft but the pieces of shrimp were quite small and it was just a bit too bland for me. The Beef Ho fun was so good. I can tell the rice noodles they used were high quality. It had a bit of a chew to it rather than it being soggy and soft. The Wok Hei was great as well and they gave us plenty of beef slices. The Tofu Grouper pot was so delicious. They used high quality fish and the portion sizes were quite good for 18$. The pork hock was also really good. It was only 8.99$. The flavor was so delicious and the pork hock itself had a "bouncy"/QQ texture. It was great. The only dish we absolutely HATED and DO NOT recommend was the Clay Pot Rice. I had a really good clay pot rice at a different restaurant 2 weeks ago so I decided to order one here as well. It was so bad. The rice was not cooked properly. The meat to rice ratio was like 1 to 10 There wasn't even any crispy rice at the bottom. and the meat itself was not tender. It was dry and rough. No wonder why I can't find any reviews of their clay pot rice online. Probably because nobody orders it. Other than the Clay Pot rice and shrimp rice roll everything else was really good so I definitely would come back again.
