I went to this restaurant twice. I had the Pho Bo soup, and it was good but not great. The first time, they told me that the Pho Bo is missing some ingredients but I had them anyway. Me and my friend went there last week, and I asked the gentleman in the front if there's a smaller Pho Bo because my friend is a lady, and she doesn't eat a lot, and she wants that soup. He said they don't have a small soup and he offered me the salad. I said she wants soup but it's too much for her but I will just order it the way it is. He still keeps suggesting me to get the salad. I told him, she wants the soup, not salad. I've already told him that we will order the soup, so I don't know why he kept offering me the salad. The soup came, I don't know what's missing, but the bowl is still big, the soup have a lot of broth, but way less noodles, vegetables and meat. The Pho Bo in the photos is way better than the actual one. The reason I asked for a small bowl because the Pho Bo is supposed to be with the right amount of noodles, meat and veggies. I payed the full price for the soup, I should get what I paid for. I didn't ask for less ingredients, so I don't think it is right for them to just decide on what to put there. I should have gone with my gut instinct having been somewhat disappointed at their main location, Phuc Yeah. I thought Phuc Yeah was kinda good but not compared to most other Pho I'd eaten before. This place, Pho Mo, was just insanely bland food. I got the vegan pho so maybe that's my mistake but it's 2019 and I expect there to at least be some flavor in vegan food. This was really virtually flavorless and the selection of vegetables was medicore. The bok Choi was also too soft. Also not crazy about how they serve the sauces, it's somewhat inconvenient to have to scrape out the 1.5 tablespoons of Sirracha from the tiny little thing that also contains hoisin sauce. Coming from California I should know pho prepared by non-vietnamese is up to no good. Girl at the cash register isn't at all interested in her work, or customers. Beef pho soup was bland like colored salt water. At $15 a bowl there is no tripe, beef tendon, raw beef. All it has were cilantro, green onion, shredded beef meat and beef meatballs. I went to TIME OUT basically to eat the Pho! We went a group of friends and half of them went to Pho Mo. I was so disappointed (and is difficult for me to be) about the extreme lack of flavor of the soup. It was unbelievably bland. It was also very cold, it didn't feel cozy at all. The noodles were terrible, thin, overdone, almost like if having an angel hair noodle soup. I really didn't like it al all :( and all the rest of the 4 friends also thought exactly the same and didn't eat their soups. I also asked for chopsticks (instead of a regular forks they were giving us to eat the pho - weird), and they just said "we don't have any at the moment, go next to us". We went to the restaurant next to them, and the guy said NO, he wasn't facilitating us any chopsticks. Unbelievable. In conclusion, extremely bad pho, flavorless, cold, bad noodles and... eating them with a fork! What a bad experience, very unfair. At the end I said "I am not going to leave this market eating this level of bad", and the 4 friends we just went and bought something else, loosing those $15 each. It's fast food, not the restaurant quality. The taste is OK and authentic. We ordered Beef Pho and Cajun Shrimp Noodles, both tasted OK. But both came with broken noodles that we couldn't use the chopsticks to pick them up. The Cajun Shrimp noodles were immersed in diluted fish sauce, like eating sour and salty soup. I wish the sauce was served separatedly, and with more and longer noodles, then it'd be a 4-star dish. They should soak the dry noodles in water first to relax it first before boiling it to avoid being so broken. read more

Not only did they take upwards of 30 minutes to make soup, all of my friends got their plates from other restaurants at Time Out first when I was the first to place an order. Fine, maybe the food would be worth the wait? Wrong. The soup was all broth, maybe 3 pieces of meat, I had to go back to the counter and ask them to put more, they put maybe 2 more pieces. Mind you, these cuts were the size of my thumb tip, and the thickness of an eyelash. You would think they would put enough noodles then? Nope. I paid $15 for broth that took 30 minutes to be ready. Had my first visit at Time Out Market today. I saw Pho Mo was the busiest so i wanted to give it a try. I was attended by these two beautiful and welcoming young ladies which recommended that i try their boa buns which I cannot deny i can not wait to have again. One of the worst pho I have ever had. Very salty (doesn't taste like a bone broth), hardly any noodles (the cashier said there is a lot of noodles, which is totally untrue). All the garnishes is in the soup. Typically the garnish is serve on the side. I usually don't eat cilantro and jalapeños. Mostly meatballs and not the other meats as listed. Don't recommend this place. Lots of other better places at Tine Out! read more
