Tran An was such a cute spot for a quick lunch. My boyfriend and I went and played Monopoly Deal while waiting for our food which made it even more fun. We tried two different beers and both were pretty good. The spicy chicken tendies and the beef pho were our favorites, both full of flavor & so comforting. The banh mi was not as flavorful as we hoped but overall we really enjoyed our meal and the relaxed vibe of the place

Went here while the weather was nice and chilly. We sat outside. The waitress was kind and attentive. We never had to ask for anything which is nice. I ordered the Chicken curry and my friend got one of the phos. We also ordered a bahn as an appetizer to split and my goodness did that hit the spot. It made me full before I even started on the curry. Overall, I liked the curry even though it didn't have much of a kick to it. I would get the bahn again. The area is cool because there's a strip of restaurants so there are options for everyone in a large group.

The food was really good. I had the garlic chicken noodles but added the PHO NOODLES to it instead. I also had the cucumber with mango boba, which was delicious! It was nice a nice ambiance but could definitely use a deep cleaning and some upgrades. The seats were really dirty looking and need replacing. You could actually tell it was a really nice spot.

I stumbled on this place completely by accident and it has become one of my top two Vietnamese Restaurants in Dade County. Tran An is small but mighty. I stop in from time to time when I'm working in the area. The menu is very nice and seems to change every now and then. This helps if you always want to try something different but not so much if you have diehard favorites like me. Tran An has meal components for you to take home and prepare a meal yourself. Make sure you check out the restroom, it's something to see. It looks like something you'll find in a deleted scene from Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls. Checkout their little shop next door. You may find something you didn't even know you wanted or needed.

Tran an has been in my bookmarks for several years and I finally got the opportunity to check it out. I stopped in for lunch and chose the lunch special, a can of coke and 1 tiny spring-roll. The food was pretty decent and fresh, but when the bill came it was $28! Whaaat! I was not about to argue with the sever so I just let it go. In all honesty; there is no way that the measly quantity or quality of items I ordered amounted to $28. Pure Insanity. Way overpriced!

Small "hole in the wall" type place. Which I prefer anyway but the pictures online made me think it was fancy. The food was good but a bit pricey for the sizes. The employees were kind to us but stressed out and not getting along with each other. A. It disappointed that they only had 2 beers (great tripping animas local beer). But I had hopes of trying Vietnamese beer or at least Asian beer. The best dish was the chicken tendies. Full of flavor even when plain. I wasn't a fan of the eggy rice I don't like raw eggs in my food. The brisket bahn mi was 7 out of 10. Good bread and flavor but a bit dry and small for the price. The rice crispy dessert was hard as a rock. Took it home but threw it out. If I ate there again I will order to go and try other dishes. And definitely get the chicken tendies!

Combination beef pho for 25.00. Broth tasted sour and old. Couldn't tell if it's how their pho flavor is or if it's spoiled.

I love to give good reviews but I must say I was disappointed due to my expectations. It's a cute little place that's nicely decorated and I was impressed with the little photo menu book that tells the story of the owners and has pictures of all the food menu items. The server was very friendly and attentive. However, the food was terrible. My friend and I were craving pho so we decided to order each a bowl which I have never paid $25.00 for a small bowl of pho that tasted like sour soup. Not sure if that was the flavor of the beef broth or if it was going bad. There was not much flavor and the broth did not look freshly made given we were there around 10 or 11:00am for lunch. I'm from California so pho is a must and I make my own pho broth as well so I know a good bowl of pho broth when I see one. I hope this review helps the owners to check on their food and make sure it's up to par bc it appears they have neglected the traditional Vietnamese flavors that is portrayed in their story and pictures. Perhaps their other food items May be good but I would not order the pho again.

If you're looking for a stomachache this is the place to eat! You might need some pepto after. I rarely ever give 1 stars.. but major yikes.. super expensive for food that is not edible... the supreme pho aka pho dac biet, the broth was sooooo sour and not authentic. We left the restaurant so hungry! The bowl was so tiny I can't believe it was $25.. I would pay that much if it was good but this was barely it. I read a lot of YELP reviews saying how the broth was bland.. but ours was very sour.. not even siracha could help this poor pho broth. There was no condiments provided such as the bean sprouts.. etc. if you're looking for authentic.. this ain't it.. don't waste your time or money. So sorry to say this. We ordered the chicken vermicelli and I have no words, I'm not sure what was the worse entree between all 3 options.. the broken rice was straight up congee. Lol like we didn't ask for soup! They also charged a "Love Fund Fee" and you have to order your food at the kiosk & they bring it ours. Our total for 4 small bowls was $105... such a waste! I do want to note that this place and ambiance was very retro and gave some aesthetic vibes.... Sorry not sorry.. but this place is a no go. This was our first time and the last time....

Tran An What is going on man? We came to Miami to look for some bomb pho But at first sip, it was like nuh uh Every bite felt very hard to eat So sour , it'll make you eek We chose this place over many because the interior decor But that's all it's really good for The coffee tasted so watered down and there were no veggies for pho Nothing really authentic and that's for sure Very pricey, over 100 dollar for 4 meals That's a buffet price, but we left hungry for real My stomach ached and my body was nauseous To barely touch any of my food and feel like that is rough

We love this place! Delicious Vietnamese food with a cute and cozy ambiance and great service. Everything is delicious, the pho, the broken rice, all the noodle options, but my highlight is the Green Papaya Salad. One of my favorite hidden gems of Miami. I can't wait to come back again and again and again.

I've been searching for good pho in Miami for what seems like forever and I think I finally found it! Not only was the chicken pho I had delish and well priced! The restaurant itself is so cute and such good vibes! Quick and easy self checkout style service. Will definitely be going back!

Tran An is such a gem! The vibe is adorable and full of personality--bonus points for the menu served in an old-school photo album (love!). I had the Supreme Beef Pho and it was incredibly flavorful and comforting. Portions are generous, so come hungry and save room for dessert--the Rice Krispie treat was next-level. Cozy, creative, and full of flavor--this spot is a must.

What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

As a Vietnamese person, the menu screamed contemporary, flavorful, and new, and I wanted to try all of it. The host was friendly and prepped us for a 30 minute wait that ended up lasting maybe 10. It may have helped that we weren't too picky about spots and ended up getting seats at the bar, which gave us easy access to the already attentive bartenders. We had a great view into the kitchen and saw all the lively happenings. Before I even talk about food: the 80s-90s Vietnamese New Wave music was incredible. I was hearing songs that I hadn't heard in years (decades!) and couldn't believe I was recognizing these hits from my childhood. That alone set the atmosphere for what Tam Tam was trying to create: a modern vibe with layers of true Vietnamese-American culture while still using traditional Vietnamese flavors. It was truly a great way to enjoy and connect with the ambiance in a way that I hadn't anywhere else ever before. -Grilled oysters: delicious. Came out covered in a delicious hollandaise and some scallion oil. Savory and unique. -Grilled escarole: this is an outdated review, so I don't think this is on the menu anymore which is a damn shame because this was my favorite dish. It had all the quintessential Vietnamese flavors: toasty dried shrimp, scallion oil, dipping fish sauce - it was irresistible and just a great reflection of how Vietnamese people can make the simplest vegetables so damn tasty. -Chicken wings: still very popular. Do not skip this. We were on a Miami restaurant crawl, so after those few dishes, we headed off to our next stop and let me tell ya, we were full of regret that we left. Should've just stayed, said to hell with everything else, and ordered the rest of the menu.

I'm not even sure what it is that we ordered, kind of like a ceviche meets guacamole. I think it was good, I'm honestly not sure. It was fatty, almost buttery, my date didn't like that. It came with some kind of chip that broke really easily. The marinated cucumber dish was pretty solid though. I'd get that again.
