Was craving Vietnamese food. Not much in the area i was... so decided to finally try this place but was on the fence. I was craving a vermicelli bowl but wanted extra protein. Guys... this is not Vietnamese food. Firstly the taste was all off, almost zero flavor , just slightly sour and watery. Then there were giant stems of cilantro on top, so i was choking on those, gross. And finally... $28 for a portion the size of an appetizer. I was about to ask where my extra chicken was, until i came to yelp and saw the reviews. This place sucks. Can't believe i just spent that much money on a bowl only to leave unsatisfied and still wanting to eat more food. AVOID.

Flavorful bahn mit, and lunch specials cant be beat, its a great little spot near me and the staff are super nice [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute little restaurant and super kitchy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tran An was such a cute spot for a quick lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My boyfriend and I went and played Monopoly Deal while waiting for our food which made it even more fun. We tried two different beers and both were pretty good. The spicy chicken tendies and the beef pho were our favorites, both full of flavor & so comforting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The banh mi was not as flavorful as we hoped but overall we really enjoyed our meal and the relaxed vibe of the place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was really good. I had the garlic chicken noodles but added the PHO NOODLES to it instead. I also had the cucumber with mango boba, which was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was nice a nice ambiance but could definitely use a deep cleaning and some upgrades.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seats were really dirty looking and need replacing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You could actually tell it was a really nice spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I stumbled on this place completely by accident and it has become one of my top two Vietnamese Restaurants in Dade County. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tran An is small but mighty.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stop in from time to time when I'm working in the area. The menu is very nice and seems to change every now and then. This helps if you always want to try something different but not so much if you have diehard favorites like me. Tran An has meal components for you to take home and prepare a meal yourself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Make sure you check out the restroom, it's something to see. It looks like something you'll find in a deleted scene from Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Checkout their little shop next door. You may find something you didn't even know you wanted or needed.

    Chicken curry. Large portions.

Went here while the weather was nice and chilly. We sat outside. The waitress was kind and attentive. We never had to ask for anything which is nice. I ordered the Chicken curry and my friend got one of the phos. We also ordered a bahn as an appetizer to split and my goodness did that hit the spot. It made me full before I even started on the curry. Overall, I liked the curry even though it didn't have much of a kick to it. I would get the bahn again. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The area is cool because there's a strip of restaurants so there are options for everyone in a large group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Tran an has been in my bookmarks for several years and I finally got the opportunity to check it out. I stopped in for lunch and chose the lunch special, a can of coke and 1 tiny spring-roll. The food was pretty decent and fresh, but when the bill came it was $28! Whaaat! I was not about to argue with the sever so I just let it go. In all honesty; there is no way that the measly quantity or quality of items I ordered amounted to $28. Pure Insanity. Way overpriced!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small "hole in the wall" type place. Which I prefer anyway but the pictures online made me think it was fancy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was good but a bit pricey for the sizes. The employees were kind to us but stressed out and not getting along with each other. A. It disappointed that they only had 2 beers (great tripping animas local beer). But I had hopes of trying Vietnamese beer or at least Asian beer. The best dish was the chicken tendies. Full of flavor even when plain. I wasn't a fan of the eggy rice I don't like raw eggs in my food. The brisket bahn mi was 7 out of 10. Good bread and flavor but a bit dry and small for the price. The rice crispy dessert was hard as a rock. Took it home but threw it out. If I ate there again I will order to go and try other dishes. And definitely get the chicken tendies!

Combination beef pho for 25.00. Broth tasted sour and old. Couldn't tell if it's how their pho flavor is or if it's spoiled.

I love to give good reviews but I must say I was disappointed due to my expectations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cute little place that's nicely decorated and I was impressed with the little photo menu book that tells the story of the owners and has pictures of all the food menu items.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The server was very friendly and attentive. However, the food was terrible. My friend and I were craving pho so we decided to order each a bowl which I have never paid $25.00 for a small bowl of pho that tasted like sour soup. Not sure if that was the flavor of the beef broth or if it was going bad. There was not much flavor and the broth did not look freshly made given we were there around 10 or 11:00am for lunch. I'm from California so pho is a must and I make my own pho broth as well so I know a good bowl of pho broth when I see one. I hope this review helps the owners to check on their food and make sure it's up to par bc it appears they have neglected the traditional Vietnamese flavors that is portrayed in their story and pictures. Perhaps their other food items May be good but I would not order the pho again.

If you're looking for a stomachache this is the place to eat! You might need some pepto after. I rarely ever give 1 stars.. but major yikes.. super expensive for food that is not edible... the supreme pho aka pho dac biet, the broth was sooooo sour and not authentic. We left the restaurant so hungry! The bowl was so tiny I can't believe it was $25.. I would pay that much if it was good but this was barely it. I read a lot of YELP reviews saying how the broth was bland.. but ours was very sour.. not even siracha could help this poor pho broth. There was no condiments provided such as the bean sprouts.. etc. if you're looking for authentic.. this ain't it.. don't waste your time or money. So sorry to say this. We ordered the chicken vermicelli and I have no words, I'm not sure what was the worse entree between all 3 options.. the broken rice was straight up congee. Lol like we didn't ask for soup! They also charged a "Love Fund Fee" and you have to order your food at the kiosk & they bring it ours. Our total for 4 small bowls was $105... such a waste! I do want to note that this place and ambiance was very retro and gave some aesthetic vibes.... Sorry not sorry.. but this place is a no go. This was our first time and the last time....

Tran An What is going on man? We came to Miami to look for some bomb pho But at first sip, it was like nuh uh Every bite felt very hard to eat So sour , it'll make you eek We chose this place over many because the interior decor But that's all it's really good for The coffee tasted so watered down and there were no veggies for pho Nothing really authentic and that's for sure Very pricey, over 100 dollar for 4 meals That's a buffet price, but we left hungry for real My stomach ached and my body was nauseous To barely touch any of my food and feel like that is rough

I've been searching for good pho in Miami for what seems like forever and I think I finally found it! Not only was the chicken pho I had delish and well priced! The restaurant itself is so cute and such good vibes! Quick and easy self checkout style service. Will definitely be going back!

We love this place! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Delicious Vietnamese food with a cute and cozy ambiance and great service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything is delicious, the pho, the broken rice, all the noodle options, but my highlight is the Green Papaya Salad. One of my favorite hidden gems of Miami. I can't wait to come back again and again and again.

She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food came out quickly, and as always, it was absolutely delicious. This time, I ordered the Bún Đậu Mắm Tôm, and it was amazing. The tofu was perfectly crispy and crunchy on the outside while staying silky smooth on the inside. The portion is meant for two people, but it was so good I could have finished the entire platter by myself. Every bite was delicious. What impressed me the most was the level of customer service. I noticed a gentleman, who I believe was the manager, personally greeting guests at the door and shaking hands with customers he knew. He paid attention to every detail. Before my son had even put his empty water cup back on the table, he was already there refilling it. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about how much they truly care about their guests. You can tell this restaurant focuses not only on serving great food but also on creating an outstanding dining experience. The place is really clean. That combination is what keeps us coming back. Whenever we're in Florida, Pho Bar Vietnamese Kitchen will always be worth the drive. Highly recommend!

They've added some more popular drinks like the Basic B**ch which is like a lychee martini, and the Upper East Side which were both very delicious. I had two of each! For the HH snacks, we got the shrimp and the pork dumplings and we all agreed the Shrimp Dumpling was the favorite. It's sauce was soy-based, while the pork had kind of a curry base. We really went for a Birthday reservation. So after happy hour at the bar we moved over to our table. And order more drinks and more good eats! I suggested the Edemame Hummus (again) [still amazing!]. But we also got the Octopus and Imperial Eggrolls. Side note - our server Natalia was really kind to our very active table of two checks and 8 people. She went over the menu, and she was so convincing we ordered everything that she talked about. She even asked if I wanted a drink and I didn't at first, but then she went on to talk about the Upper East Side, and I was sold. For the main entrees, we shared the Branzino which is market price, the Millionaire Rice, and the Bo Luc Lac (filet mignon). All were amazing. I'd ordered it all again. Will definitely be back.

So I jumped on Yelp to look for the nearest highly rated pho restaurant in came across Photastic. The yelp directions brought me to a parking space right in front of the restaurant. We arrived around 8 PM, an hour before closing. We were greeted immediately and sat in a nice table, which was clean and well equipped for a pho meal. Menus and water were brought immediately along with a warm greeting from the waitress. Immediately, I noticed that I had interacted with two members of the staff at each admin, gracious and welcoming. I found the discontinued through the entire meal with other people, stopping by to make sure that everything was perfect and being enjoyed by us. I went to the restroom to wash and noted it to be immaculate. This is usually one of the best signs that a restaurant pays attention to detail and I am always happy to see that they are meticulous. Our order was taken and we were served very quickly. First out was the condiments/toppings. The peanut based sauce for the spring rolls and the vegetables for the pho. We began with Gỏi Cuốn, Vietnamese spring rolls. Traditionally these are fresh shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and lettuce wrapped in thin, translucent rice paper served cold with a savory dipping sauce, often a peanut-based sauce and here they are customized with delicious fresh herbs and vegetables, as well as pork. Personally, I do not like it as much with pork, but had not noticed that it was made this way on the menu when I ordered and next time, I'll ask if it is available without the pork. I will say, however, that is hands-down, the very best Gỏi Cuốn I have ever eaten. My wife and I both ordered pho. She chose the chicken while I opted for the steak and meatball. We found all of the meats very chewy in texture, but they were extremely tasty. The portions were huge and the broth was delicious. The flavorful soups with fresh noodles and ingredients were both spectacular. Portions are excellent. I like mine spicy and the perfect condiments were available right on the table. The Matcha latte Boba tea was quite good as well. Prices were in line with other local restaurants which will somewhat high are right, where I expect them to be locally. The overall experience was great. I did notice that somebody walked in about a minute before the post to closing time and was turned away. While, I find this to be unusual in local family owned restaurants, it is certainly not unreasonable. So if you're a late eater, check the hours before arriving. This was my first visit in this restaurant has moved right onto my list of favorite comfort foods nearby my home. If you like pho, I highly recommend you try it.

And I feel like I have to say this: some of these reviews are clearly linked to exposure. The pho here was FINE. Solid 3. The service? Not good at all. The woman who cooks/runs this place was all over the place. There was nothing kind, grateful, or warm about her as she took orders and prepared food. Her husband was nice but the lack of attentive service from her was not cool. She was very tuned in to the other couple dining but I called her several times (in that tiny space) and she seemed to not hear me. I also have to say that the size of their homemade teas is super generous. However, while I was there, two tables, including mine, were served Thai Iced Teas with sour milk. When I finally got the owner's attention, she frowned when I told her and said, "I just served that." And then went to the other table to double-check as if my words wouldn't quite do it. lol The other table confirmed it was sour. The owner took the cups, no apology or nothing, and asked us if we wanted it remade. I asked for a coke instead. A bottle was $5... five whole dollars. Egg rolls: okay. Def a bit bland.. Served with some weird ketchupy sweet/sour sauce. I asked for fish sauce, which was good. Paid about $36 for pho, egg rolls, and a drink. If this is your only pho option in the area, go for it, but i was not impressed especially once my stomach processed the sour milk.

The place basically looks the same with just a few updates. But it's peaceful, quiet and pleasant. We decided to have our favorite dish, Beef Pho, and ordered that. Our server was Francisco, who was friendly and helpful. It didn't take long for our soup to arrive. I guess 5 years can make a difference in how pho is made or maybe there is a different chef. The pho now is not cooked the same as back then and didn't taste as good, to our surprise and disappointment. The brisket was not very tender but was tough and hard to chew. The steak slices were cut so thin as to not have much flavor or substance. The amount of meat was a little less and there were way more noodles than before. Something was missing but I can't remember what it was...a green vegetable, I think. Overall, it was ok but not excellent like before. We have had beef pho on the west coast many times and it was always perfect. It could've been just that day that it was off. Maybe it was something else like the economy because the place was empty at 6:30 pm when we arrived for dinner. There was one couple sitting in a booth and only a few trickled in afterwards, unlike in the past when it was packed. There is plenty of parking in front of Basilic with wheelchair accessiblability.
