I really don't like writing bad reviews but this is the absolute worst pho I've ever had. The dish looked so good but the favors are lacking. I ordered the regular chicken pho which is chicken with the chicken broth and noodles. It tasted like dirty water with old chicken. The cilantro was just garnishing on the side. It's not actually cooked inside. The chicken chunks tasted likes it been reheated several times. Very rubbery and tasteless. Please visit real pho places like pho 79 (miamj) and 95pho (Pembroke) Those are places where real pho is served.

Disappointed. As in all other locations at Time Out, you order at the counter. You get a buzzer that lights up when your dish is ready, and you carry it to the communal tables. I ordered the beef pho. The portion and temperature were adequate. The meats were tasty, but it was downhill from then on. The broth was mostly tasteless - deadly sin for any pho conoisseur. The vegetables were also tasteless and lacked texture. The herbs were not served on the side and were wilted and sad. An overall disaster, were it not for the meat toppings. My companion ordered the veggie pho. No positives on that one. You get the tasteless broth, the texture less vegetables, and surprisingly bland mushrooms that tasted of nothing. In summary, the worst pho in South Florida.

No Sriracha sauce, no chili oil, beef was soft and tender, other than that, that was it.

3.5 It's a good concept inside the TimeOut Market. Bao Bun, Pho Gà Chicken, Pho Bò Beef, $15 or special Pho for MP. They give you a big bowl, lot of noodles, meat & small portion of bean sprout & basil. I did ask for more. But they don't use PHO noodle! What? They use vermicelli rice thin noodle, which Vietnamese calls BÚN. They offer shiitake nood for healthier version for extra $3 or extra meat for $5. Light broth, which is healthier taste, but no flavor at all. On the other hand, the cooked beef was nice and tender. The only Pho that I have to put Hoisin sauce in. It's not authentic Pho, but they are trying! A for effort! Still better than Miss Saigon nearby in my book. They DON'T TAKE CASH! Only card!

The pho was decent for being the only pho place on south beach. I highly recommend the garnishes be served separately so it doesn't get soggy. The brisket pieces were super thick. We also tried the caramel wings. The wings were a little too saucy. A little less sauce would of made the wings more crispy. Overall it wasn't too bad. Keep in mind, we are from the Bay Area, our standards of pho is pretty high.

My husband and I came for brunch on a weekend. We got the pho bo ($15 each), one bao of five spiced roasted pork bao ($6), and caramel chicken wings ($8). The pho bo broth was bland and was warm when served. The noodles were under cooked . Compared to the pho we have in San Fracisco bay area, this was pretty mediocre and over priced. The chicken wings looked yummy from the outside but was undercooked and slightly raw in the inside. It ruined my appetite. The only saving grace was the pork bao. It was delicious, but over priced.

Guys! You need to improve your signature dish: the pho! Not hot enough, the broth was watery and the noodle undercooked. We were expecting much more! The shrimp bao is good. Hope you try to improve the pho!

I came around 1 PM and the restaurant was really busy with locals and some tourists. The restaurant only has counter seating in the windows with barstool seating (no inside seating) so you have to wait until someone gets up and then you seat yourself. I waited about 2-3 minutes and found a seat (it's all pretty quick because people eat their sandwiches and come and go). When I was seated I was warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and he promptly took my order. I ordered the Bora Bora smoothie to start (around $7) and ordered the turkey and brie cheese sandwich (around $10). The smoothie was made quickly with fresh fruit and the sandwich is a huge portion and came up quick with fresh bread and all fresh produce, the sandwich was truly amazing! Make sure to use the vinagarette dressing on the counter, this is homemade and is so good! If you're near a La Sandwicherie location, definitely stop in!

What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

As a Vietnamese person, the menu screamed contemporary, flavorful, and new, and I wanted to try all of it. The host was friendly and prepped us for a 30 minute wait that ended up lasting maybe 10. It may have helped that we weren't too picky about spots and ended up getting seats at the bar, which gave us easy access to the already attentive bartenders. We had a great view into the kitchen and saw all the lively happenings. Before I even talk about food: the 80s-90s Vietnamese New Wave music was incredible. I was hearing songs that I hadn't heard in years (decades!) and couldn't believe I was recognizing these hits from my childhood. That alone set the atmosphere for what Tam Tam was trying to create: a modern vibe with layers of true Vietnamese-American culture while still using traditional Vietnamese flavors. It was truly a great way to enjoy and connect with the ambiance in a way that I hadn't anywhere else ever before. -Grilled oysters: delicious. Came out covered in a delicious hollandaise and some scallion oil. Savory and unique. -Grilled escarole: this is an outdated review, so I don't think this is on the menu anymore which is a damn shame because this was my favorite dish. It had all the quintessential Vietnamese flavors: toasty dried shrimp, scallion oil, dipping fish sauce - it was irresistible and just a great reflection of how Vietnamese people can make the simplest vegetables so damn tasty. -Chicken wings: still very popular. Do not skip this. We were on a Miami restaurant crawl, so after those few dishes, we headed off to our next stop and let me tell ya, we were full of regret that we left. Should've just stayed, said to hell with everything else, and ordered the rest of the menu.
