04. Gỏi Cuốn - Spring Rolls

Ordered on DoorDash. The fried egg rolls were nice and crispy. The spring rolls were a bit lacking in flavor, and there were only three short segments, not two long ones like in the picture. Next time, I would get the garlic noodles instead. Side of steamed veggies was nice.

50 Vegan rice plate with lemongrass tofu

I ordered #50, the vegan rice plate- lemongrass tofu, stir fried vegetables and veggie fried tofu over steam rice. The tofu is fried and crispy. The veggie fried rolls were fine. The sauce is nice, pretty strong. There was a little salad with pickled carrot slices. I liked that part of the rice had a crispy shell. There was a decent amount of lemongrass flavor and I didn't find it too spicy, so I liked it overall and thought it was a solid vegetarian option. The other person in my party got the #44, bun cha gio thit nuong or ga nuong (grilled pork or grilled chicken), egg rolls, and salad with vermicelli; they opted for the grilled pork option and also felt it was pretty good.

Good standard pho with healthy portions. We ordered the typical Pho, and it was good. The portions were good overall, and they gave us a good amount of meat. No complaints!

Came here during a work day for lunch. We were a bit early for lunch time so were able to find a table easily. Finding parking on the other hand can be difficult in the plaza. The restaurant has a welcoming decor. Service is fast and the servers are friendly. I went with the Noodle plate (#42 on the menu). The chicken and shrimp were both very tasty and perfectly seasoned. The portions are generous for the price. I can see myself coming back here for lunch.

My veggie rice plate was good, but I wish it had more veggies. Also, on the menu, the vegetarian option is limited. The best part of the meal was the pickled veggies, so yummy. The server was friendly and attentive.

Garlic Egg Noodles

Came in on a weekday for dinner and they were not busy. The menu has lots of options; I went for the garlic egg noodles with grilled chicken and the dish was quite tasty! It had a really good flavor and a generous portion of chicken. I did wish the ratio of noodles to chicken was a little higher since I ended up taking home a few pieces of leftover chicken, but overall I was satisfied with the meal! We also ordered the pork egg rolls as an appetizer which were pretty standard and yummy as well. Service was friendly, though not super attentive during the meal, but that isn't really a big deal to me. You pay afterwards at the front, and I think they have a credit/debit card charge (vs. no extra charge with cash).

I went at around 11am on a Sunday, and the place was almost empty. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and a casual vibe with some Asian decor. The menu has vegetarian options and quite a large selection to choose from in general. The tables were clean, and our server was quick to take our order, but she mostly left us along for far too long after delivering our food and my party decided to head to the register ask for more utensils, and to pay, since she never came back. I got a passion fruit drink, which was very fresh and I loved the seeds included in it. The beef combo was not as hot as I would have liked when it arrived, and a tad bland. But that's what all the condiments and toppings are for, right? My friend got a chicken dish and egg noodles, which they enjoyed. I also got a tip from one of the staff that you could up-size your order of pho and split, since the portions are pretty generous.

Just a truly satisfying bowl of pho. Then, throw in tasty appetizers, good company, and it's a great time! That was our experience this past Sunday. Meet up with family to enjoy some good Vietnamese food. We decided on Pho Lovers for their variety in pho and the pho hit the spot. The broth was well made, the meats and noodle ratios were on point, the garnishes fed well into the soup. It was just an overall, excellent bowl of pho. We also added an appetizer, good, and spring rolls, also good. Service was very nice and attentive. You pay up front. Using a credit card will incur a 3.5% charge. Parking can be challenging and limited in the private lot, but I think if all else fails, you should be able to find street parking. I'd come back!

Ask the Community - Pho Lovers

Do they deliver at the moment? And if so, do we have to call to put in the order? What's the delivery fee?

You can use Doordash to order delivery. They're available on Doordash now. You also can call to order and pick up.

Tried calling in this Shelter in Place order but no one picked up. Are they open for take out?

They are opening. I think from 11 AM to 8 PM for take out only. If you want to be delivered, you can do it by Doordash.

Where can you park? I see the restaurant can seat a few dozen people but there's only 5 parking spots designated for the restaurant. All the other parking is reserved for the grocery store next door under threat of towing.

I parked at the grocery store - shopped for five minutes supporting that shop and then moved my car to a spot that opened up for the Pho restaurant nextdoor.

Does the vegetarian Pho have msg?

No none of the Phos have MSG if you ask for it!!

You can just tell from the color that they were perfectly crispy and I had to get a lot. Pork was definitely my favorite. They were perfectly fried that I wish I would've got you even more. No one really talks about the amount of desserts, ingredients , and snacks that they have available. I had to take home some coconut milk( pandan ) They had many flavors including taro ! They immediately took my order and started prepping my coffee as I browsed their snacks. They were very welcoming and I can't wait to come back and try more items !

Because animal products are baked directly into the baguette, they can no longer accommodate vegans (even if you ask to omit the mayo spread and pâté). Apparently, the only item they can offer to vegans now is their tofu spring rolls. In Vietnam, they do not add milk, butter, or lard to the dough. In fact, authentic Vietnamese baguettes are typically made using only flour, water, yeast, and salt. Western businesses often add eggs and butter to extend the bread's shelf life and make it easier to brown and stabilize during mass commercial production. So sad to lose this local gem for vegan bánh mì options, but wanted to warn the community!

I got V8 banh cuon tay ho chay which came with flour sheet, stuffed flour sheet, yam tempura, mung bean tempura, fried tofu, veggies, and then they even brought out a vegetarian dipping sauce for me. Everything was absolutely delicious, I especially enjoyed the flour sheet when dipped in the sauce, and the yam tempura. The mung bean tempura was also really interesting, it sort of looked and tasted like a muffin. I also got a pennywort juice since my Vietnamese friend said she drank it growing up in Vietnam and had never seen it on a menu in the US before. It was very interesting, not really sweet at all, I mostly liked it but it had a slightly weird aftertaste. The service was good enough, the waiters weren't super attentive or particularly friendly but our food came out quickly and we had no issues. The interior is spacious and clean. When I asked for a takeout container it even came with a little cup for dipping sauce which was really nice. Highly highly recommend!

I am one of those people who thinks that just about every meal needs animal protein or it won't be satisfying. Well, Happy Flower proved me wrong because I came away with a very happy and full stomach and I did not even miss the meat! We ordered 8 different dishes to share family style, and I was especially pleased with the all seasons sampler and vegan fried rolls appetizers, as well as the pad Thai, salted fish fried rice, hainan chicken rice, tomato fish, and happy clay pot entrees. Each dish was quite large such that all 9 of us were able to try generous portions of each dish. And then we got two servings of the mango sticky rice to share and the mango was amazingly sweet! I did not try their boba drinks, but a few of my friends ordered drinks and enjoyed them. Their boba drinks are sized quite large as well. I will say, the meat doesn't necessarily taste like the meat it purports to imitate, but the textures for the fake chicken and fish are pretty spot on! Service was friendly and helpful and they delivered the dishes at a good pace. The inside isn't fancy, but it's clean and well lit and spacious. I wish I had known about this hidden gem sooner, but they had a good clip of takeout orders and families coming in for dinner. Parking is also plentiful and easy in their large attached lot. I will be back!

The pork was very dry, and the egg was cooked all the way through. But the most upsetting part was my grilled beef vermicelli bowl. After just a few bites, I felt a gritty texture between my teeth, like sand. At first, I couldn't imagine that there would actually be dirt in my food. When I moved the noodles aside, however, I discovered a lot of dirt or sand at the bottom of the bowl. I even checked it with my fingers because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My husband initially thought it might be charcoal from the grilled beef. However, the manager came over and said he had checked with the kitchen staff and that it appeared the vegetables hadn't been washed thoroughly enough. He offered to replace the bowl, but after that experience, I had completely lost my appetite and any confidence in the food. We were still charged the full amount and received only a "sorry." Finding dirt in my meal was disturbing enough. The way the situation was handled made it even worse. Based on the food, cleanliness, and service we experienced, I would not return or recommend this restaurant.
