Fried Wontons ($9.25), Rare Steak, Flank, Tendon ($16.95), House Special Combo Pho ($17.95)

Meh. It'll get the job if you're craving pho but there's so many better spots around. The broth comes piping hot and is really tasty, but there's noodles are soggy and break apart. The meat quality is also really mediocre, slightly overcooked, and chewy. We also got the fried wontons which I thought were just okay. Not much flavor and a bit skimpy on the filling. Service is really quick, but otherwise they don't really check up on you or anything throughout. The spot is cozy and smaller in size. Overall, probably wouldn't be back knowing how many amazing pho spots are around here.

Looks like everyone loves this place Service is 5-5 Food 4-5 The restaurant is nice. It's like a home good fill. This is definitely a place that a locals probably come to more likely than not. I'm a huge lover of pho I was happy to try it and it filled my craving If you live local, you should come visit and if you are visiting, you should stop by and try The tempura was so good! Jalapeños are so hot and so good

For a quick eatery place, Pho King is a solid place for a hot bowl of pho! You want pho-king (teehee) fast service with hearty portions and Year 2000's prices? Oh yea! The place is quaint and the tables are semi-stocked with self-service utensils. The server was friendly and spoke English. Tables were clean. Bathrooms are down the hall and keep one eye closed type of thing, but it does the job, if you need it. With 2 bowls of pho for me and my girl, we came out with full happy bellies while spending only about $40 including tax and tip, and we even had leftovers! Next time we will come thirsty too because their large beverage menu looked delicious, and we wanted to try one of their smoothies.

Comforting and flavorful dishes Our order: 42. Grilled Pork Chop Rice Plate Juicy and tender pork. Seasoned very well and flavorful. A1. Vietnamese Fried Egg Rolls Can't go wrong with egg rolls. 28. Egg Noodle Soup Broth was delicious. It's not my favorite egg noodle soup I've had, but it still hit the spot. Service was quick and straightforward. I also like the decor and style inside.

Surprisingly, this place is right next to Burger King. In addition to sharing part of its name with Burger King, the restaurant also shares a restroom. Place is relatively small but seems to be recently refurbished. Menu is typical Vietnamese dishes with pho, vermicelli and rice plates. Most dishes are close to the $20 range as with most places these days. We got - **fried tofu- 3/5- run of the mill and just the regular sweet sauce on the side. The tofu was a bit chewy as well. **basil chicken-3.5/5- good flavor of basil but no other prominent flavors like lemon grass nor was there much heat. Salad served with the plate was fresh though. **side of noodles-3/5- these were just boiled vermicelli noodles without any flavors.

I had a very disappointing experience at King Pho on Stevens Creek Boulevard While eating my meal I discovered what appeared to be a cockroach in my food I immediately brought it to the attention of the staff and requested a refund Instead of issuing a refund I was offered a replacement meal which I declined due to the nature of the issue I was concerned about food safety and felt that my complaint was not handled appropriately I also experienced symptoms of illness afterward and sought medical attention Based on my experience I cannot recommend this restaurant I hope management takes customer concerns seriously and addresses any food safety issues to prevent similar incidents from happening to others

Shaking Beef/Bò Lúc Lắc + Thai iced tea

I tried their Shaking Beef/Bò Lúc Lắc. The marinade was more soy sauce than something sweet (like oyster sauce) that might characterize the beef for other places. The beef was okay; a few pieces were tender but most not so much and that was the biggest drawback for me. Thai iced tea was rather generic insofar as it tasted like something you would get at any boba tea place and seemed like it was made by the same sort of drink mixing machine; less if a creamy taste than the average. There was only one person in the front of the house when I went (around 2 P.M. on a Sunday), and service was adequate. I don't know if anything was changed in the space when it was a Korean fried chicken place last but the interior looked fine. Maybe the same owners from before, too? This place is ok but if you're willing to drive 10 minutes ftom here...

Inside is clean. Pho bowls are pretty big! Meatballs are chewy, not the greatest I've had and I order the meatball pho every where I dine. Spring rolls are superb! The peanut dipping sauce is the winner here. Highly recommend getting these appetizers. Restaurant is attached on side of Burger King inside Lion Market plaza.

OMG, I am deep in my spicy bún bò huế era, and this spot did not disappoint. I ordered a bowl and, omg, I was seriously impressed. I usually rave about the one at Pho Lyfe, but dare I say... this one might just take the crown. The broth had the perfect spicy kick, super rich and flavorful, and for the first time ever, I actually finished the entire bowl (and that never happens). I also grabbed one of their pandan drinks, and it was really refreshing. The place is small but has plenty of seating, and the staff were super quick and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Safe to say, I'm 1000% coming back.

    Therese A.

Been here twice so far with both being good, consistent experiences. This location is nearby, fairly new, and not too busy which makes it a convenient spot for quick Vietnamese food fix. I also think it's funny that the name is Pho King and attached to Burger King! Tried both the pho and a rice plate with grilled pork chop and fried egg, which was so yummy! Standard menu and the food is good. Service is quick and the restaurant is very casual.

I've been to this Pho King location several times. They have never disappointed me! The pho here is excellent! They have a wonderful beef broth in their pho! I also love their Spring Rolls! Members of my family also love their rice plate offerings! Their dishes are reasonably priced and they give generous portions! I rank Pho King as the Best Pho in Silicon Valley. Pho King is my favorite and the one that I frequent! They offer consistently excellent quality food, great service and great value! Plus it's closer to where I live! Pho King is a small restaurant, that is clean and well maintained by a friendly, efficient staff!

This location of Pho King is solid. Super clean and modernized inside. Of note, it's attached to the Burger King so don't be confused by the drive-thru. Service is fast and most importantly, the food is was on point. Pho broth was definitely on par with some of the best ones I've had in SoCal. Egg rolls...top notch. - #1 Pho with meatballs. Usually I'm not a fan of meatballs but oddly these were quite good. The broth? Delicious. - Pork Vermicelli with egg rolls. I don't know what it is about their egg rolls but it's crunchy yet flavorful and the meat...juicy (not tough like some others out there). - fyi the water is flavored (nice touch) Pay up front post-meal. Decent amount of parking as Lions market is in the same plaza. Will be back.

The food was good. My bun Bo hue had the right amount of spice and saltiness. The service was nice. We had to trouble the server because the lid on our cup wasn't sealed; she helped us get a new cup. It made a big mess, but she was very nice about it.

It's always a good sign of authentic Vietnamese food when I don't quite understand the full menu. It also comes with the whole rice paper wrap setup, where you can grab rice paper and efficiently dip it in water to soften it up. I love that the dipping sauce is in a giant bowl, composed of the classic fish sauce concoction with sugar and some garlic and optional chili. I could honestly drink the bowl of fish sauce if I'm being honest but I'm fortunately more civilized than that. Service is very quick. The food comes out fast and it's pretty efficient. Broth was not so warm but has such clear clean taste. Can taste the aromatics more than the fish sauce in the broth; had a lot of celery like flavor. There were a couple of ribs in the broth with tender meat attached to it. I got the Nam Vang with egg noodles instead of rice noodles. The seasoning for the noodles had a slightly sweet sauce. Noodles itself was perfectly cooked, slight chew to it and not soggy. The dish had the sweet, salty, savory combo The egg rolls were on the smaller side but tightly packed with delicious ground pork. Crispy outside. Came with the slightly spicy sweet fish sauce with chili. The banh beo chen came in one small plate instead of little dipping sauce plates. It had minced shrimp (more like crumbles), friend pork rinds pieces, and green onions. I like that they used shrimp instead of mung bean paste. The steamed tapioca/rice cake base was also topped with fried pork rinds and fried shallots (tasted like smoky onipn rings). The combination of all the texture and taste was well balanced. Sweet, salty, umami.

Between Saigon and Hanoi, I went on a full-blown bánh cuốn quest, trying different spots almost daily. Street stalls, little hole-in-the-wall shops, famous spots--you name it. At some point I stopped being a tourist and became a rice-roll inspector. So yeah... my standards are unfortunately very high now. The best bánh cuốn I had in Vietnam was paper thin and almost translucent, with this delicate chew that somehow breaks apart and melts in your mouth. That's the texture I'm chasing. Coming back here, the rice sheets were noticeably thicker and didn't have that same delicate texture. They also weren't as fresh and warm as I remembered, which makes a huge difference with bánh cuốn. This is one of those dishes that's at its best when the sheets are freshly steamed and hit your table warm. The meat filling was also underwhelming and not nearly as flavorful or savory as another bánh cuốn spot I've had in San Jose. With a dish this simple, there's nowhere to hide--the rice sheet, filling, freshness and nước mám chấm (fish sauce) all have to work together. It's certainly not bad, and I can understand why people enjoy it. But after eating my way through Saigon and Hanoi in pursuit of the perfect bánh cuốn, this one is kinda meh for me now. My old review gave this place 4 stars. Vietnam ruined me.

We've probably eaten here 50+ times with family and friends, and one thing I can say is that they are 100% consistent. We've never had a bad meal here. There's a great variety of Vietnamese dishes, so everyone can usually find something they like. The chả cá (fish) is one of their popular dishes and a favorite. They also have good chicken phở, broken rice, vermicelli noodles, spring rolls, roll-your-own options, and plenty of soups beyond phở. You can order individual dishes or share family-style, which makes it especially easy when coming with a group. It's very casual, family-friendly, quick, and straightforward--nothing fancy and probably not where I'd choose for a date night. But for a dependable meal with family or friends, it's a great spot. Kids like it, parents like it, and my mom likes it--which says a lot coming from an older Vietnamese person who knows her Vietnamese food! The staff is always efficient and nice, and after all these years, the food remains consistently good. The biggest downside is parking. Unfortunately, the service was not very welcoming--the staff came across as blunt, impatient, and at times rude--but I could have overlooked that if the food had fully lived up to the hype. The broth made a good first impression and clearly included many of the right spices, although it was also quite salty. As I got further into the bowl, however, the flavor started to feel flat and lacked the rich, slow-simmered depth I expect from a restaurant that specializes in this dish. It tasted more heavily seasoned than deeply developed, so experienced bún bò Huế fans may find it underwhelming. The meat was also not as tender as I would have liked, and the congealed blood--usually my favorite part--was overcooked and dry rather than smooth and tender. The visible holes suggested it may have been cooked too quickly at too high a temperature. Overall, the meal was decent and had some good flavors, but the broth, meat, and service did not meet my expectations. I can understand why it is popular, but I would probably try another bún bò Huế spot next time.

The bahn cuon here is really good -- the rice noodle is so fresh and soft and chewy. This was my favorite and the variety was so appreciated as well! It's also surprisingly filling and I would definitely get this next time I'm here. The fish sauce was also delicious as well. (this is in reference to the dish Banh Cuon Tay Ho Dac Biet) Bahn Beo were good sizes and nicely steamed. I wish there was a bit more sauce because I was running out at the end. Toppings are appropriately sized as well Personal take, I didn't really enjoy the fried pork rind topping as much and would have liked more shrimp, but once again, personal preference. I didn't quite enjoy the Hu Tieu, but my friend liked the soup! It's a little too plain for me. I do love the feeling and texture of eating thick, round rice noodles. The banh xeo that came on the side was hard to crunch through, I felt like it was probably sitting on the side for a while. Vibes were nice -- there's a call button to ask for service. Menu has a lot of items as well (e.g. pho, rice plates, etc), so there's something for everyone if you come with a big group! Our server was also really attentive and sweet -- he came by and asked if we wanted additional dishes/bowls since we were sharing food!

I ordered their egg rolls and banh beo for catering which came with lots of fresh herbs/lettuce, fish sauce, and other toppings. Pricing was very affordable as well for the quality. I have also frequently gone into their store to enjoy a nice plate of com tam or bun thit nuong which has always been great. They provide their nuoc mam/fish sauce on the table and always are attentive. Restaurant is large and can accommodate a bunch of tables. Parking is also on a big plaza so didn't have trouble parking.

It's not outstanding, but it's definitely enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service ruined the experience. As soon as I sat down, I hadn't even had a chance to look through the whole menu before the server kept touching my shoulder and repeatedly pressured me to order. I found it very rude and uncomfortable because I really don't like strangers touching me. The older lady did it to everyone in our table, and she didn't seem to realize she was making our entire group uncomfortable, and it affected our whole dining experience. So, would I come back? Absolutely not. One visit was more than enough. I'm not willing to deal with that kind of pushy service again.
