As the weather is getting colder, we crave pho even more. Came back to our fav pho and got my usual pho with flank and tripes. Supper yummy and warms up our tummy.

This pho hits the spot! The place has so many seating and I love the layout of the menu. Staff were welcoming and nice. I ordered the brisket pho and it was so good. The meat was tender and they are not stingy with the noodles. I think I found my new Pho spot near me.

Pho #1 is on the rotation of handful of pho places from Mid-Peninsula to South Bay that my family enjoy, especially my elder Dad who loves his seafood pho and spring roll. Whenever errands take me to Sunnyvale, I will stop by to order to go or if dad is with me, dine in. During this visit, I ordered the vegetarian pho with vegetable broth. There was such umami flavor that I didn't miss having animal protein. They were not stingy with veggies, which were cooked tender crisp not mushy. I've enjoyed their chicken, beef & seafood phos too. Their broths are very comforting, especially on a cold, windy day. Always request an extra small bowl because portions are generous to share or enjoy an extra meal at home.

Good pho! Service is really fast, no wait time and the food came out within 10 minutes. A good classic family restaurant will definitely come again!

Food: Beef stew: 4.7/5. This was very delicious. It was served at the perfect temperature, very rich with spices like star anise, and floating pieces of tender beef. It was on the sweeter side for a beef stew but nonetheless really yummy! The accompanying piece of bread was also toasted well. Service: Polite and quick! Overall: This place is pretty clean, with quick service. I'd recommend getting #24 beef stew with bread. Would come here again!

Came here for dinner. Got the short rib pho, filet mignon and tripe pho, and korean short ribs rice plate. Food was good. Pho was pretty standard. They only have one size but overall good quantity of meat and noodles. Service was good and standard. Nothing to complain about. Ambiance is very old school pho restaurant. I'd come again.

I came here with several friends during a holiday weekend; the restaurant was around 1/3 full. I was seated in an area where the tables and chairs were a bit too close to each other, but I enjoyed the beautiful scenic paintings of Vietnam around the restaurant. I ordered #10 - Rare Stake, Well Done Flank, and Tripe pho. The order came out in a timely manner along with its normal garnishes. There was a good proportion of noodles to meat, and the broth was delicious! The pho here was yummy for a cold winter day, and this manages to stay as one of my favorite spots of pho in Sunnyvale.

Cute spot, yummy food, and quick service! We got the com thit nuong (grilled pork slices plate) and the wonton soup with rice noodles. I asked for the wontons on the side so they could stay extra crispy!

Amazing Service and Delicious Food! I had such a great experience at Pho #1 today! The food was fresh, flavorful, and comforting the pho broth was rich and aromatic, and the grilled beef with rice and salad was perfectly seasoned. The Thai tea was also super refreshing! Our server, Nhung, was absolutely wonderful friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She checked in often, gave great menu recommendations, and made our meal feel really welcoming and enjoyable. Overall, this is easily one of the best Vietnamese spots in the area. Great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by and asking for Nhung!

#2 Pho short rib - Added beef ball
    Chio S.

Food was absolutely amazing! We came here after watching a YouTube review and honestly, it's become our new favorite spot. Totally worth the hype! We ordered the #2 pho -- the short rib pho -- and added beef balls. We also tried the chicken wings and a grilled pork banh mi. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. At first, we were a little skeptical, trusting an influencer's recommendation, but this place did not disappoint. We'd 100% make the trip again -- and we already find ourselves craving it!

Pho is so good has a great cinnamon taste I can eat it everyday if I wanted to service is super fast and friendly !

Above average pho - strong flavor in the soup and a large portion of meat which was the highlight. Food came out in around 10 minutes with Hoisin & Sriracha sauces, basil, mint, cilantro, bean sprout, and lime. Service was on the slower side, just one server for the restaurant which wasn't too busy. Had to walk up to the counter to pay when we were done which I didn't mind. Restaurant has broad Vietnamese menu options (appetizers, banh mi, pho, soup, vermicelli bowls, rice plates), was relatively clean, and had nice artwork on the wall. I think the lighting brings down the mood a bit but overall a fine and calm place to eat! Price is $15-18 for main dishes plus tax and tip. Came out to around $21 per person w/o drinks

One of the most popular K-food restaurants in the Bay Area, and their food is always a 10/10!…read more I've come back here so many times because all of their soups are so comforting, especially the galbitang - my absolute favorite. It feels just like a warm hug in a bowl! Their cold noodles, both spicy and non-spicy versions, are refreshing and perfect for cooling down summer heat. We also almost always order the mo deum soo yook for extra protein. It's a combination plate with boiled beef brisket, tail, and tendons. You will have to season them yourself with salt and pepper, but beef is always so soft and tender. I highly recommend ordering this only if you're dining with a group of 3 or more because the portion is huge! After finishing your meal, they'll serve you a yakult, super yummy and great for digestion (super thoughtful of them) They're busy and almost always have a waitlist, especially during peak dinner hours. From my experience, the longest I've waited was about 45 minutes, but normally it's only around 20-30 minutes. There's a boba shop nearby where you can grab a drink while waiting. Overall, I have nothing to complain about with this place. Try it once and you'll understand why everyone loves it!

We waited for probably 15-20 minutes which wasn't too bad. The place is pretty big and fits a good amount of people. The food was great. They have also opened a location in Cupertino that is more convenient for me. Adding Mian to this plaza definitely livened it up, it was so difficult finding parking and then there was an hour wait when we joined the waitlist. We wandered around Grocery Outlet and Savers to pass the time. I came with a group of 6 people. We ordered the sichuan spicy fries and fried chicken cutlet to share. The fries were the spiciest item I had that day, wow! I ordered the Sichuan chicken cold noodles, extra spicy. They were not spicy at all. I left everyone at the table try them and they all agreed it was not spicy. Kind of disappointing, I expected them to be spicier than the fries at least. My partner had the chengdu zajiang noodles, mild spicy. They were good, the signature dish of the restaurant. I would return, but their spice levels are very inconsistent.

I do recommend adding an egg, especially because the lamb chop was small. As a person who tries to get more protein in, the pieces of lamb are delicious but small. After getting seated, we were promptly greeted and offered either complementary hot tea or water. If you're not familiar with the menu here, each person is required to order their own entree, most of which start around $28. My wife ordered a mild tofu soup with mixed proteins while I ordered an abalone bibimbap. In addition to our entrees, we also split a seafood pancake. I'm not the biggest fan of seafood pancake, but the one here is distinctly different than any that I've ever tried before. The texture of the pancake actually tastes very similar to shrimp toast. There's no shortage of seafood in every bite and the pancake is perfectly crispy without tasting oily. The pancake here is on the smaller side, but one pancake is more than enough for a group of 2-3 to share. The abalone in my bibimbap entree is skillfully prepared. There was no rubbery texture at all and the four abalone pieces were all very plump. The stone bowl the bibimbap arrived in wasn't blistering hot, but the bowl still managed to crisp up a bunch of rice on the bottom of the bowl. I appreciate that the spicy sauce is provided on the side so you can control how spiciness and salty the dish is. I absolutely love that each entree comes with an assortment of 10 different types of banchans. My favorites were the imitation crab slaw, the quail eggs, the shrimp cake, and the pumpkin puree with apple chunks. There's a staff member carting around refills of every single banchan, so don't hold back on enjoying your favorite banchan items because they come with unlimited refills. While the food here was fantastic all around, the highlight was truly the service. The warm hospitality of each staff member we interacted with was memorable and greatly appreciated. Special shout-out to Jinny as well, who helped us quickly resolve a small issue where we received white rice instead of purple rice with our tofu soup. If you're looking for next level Korean food with spectacular service, look no further than Kunjip Tofu. I cannot recommend this spot enough.

The waiter initially tried to show me the menu and point out the dish, but it was clearly different from what I had ordered. He shortly realized there had been a mistake, and thankfully the correct dish came out about 5 minutes later. Unfortunately, the pasta itself was disappointing. The noodles were undercooked, and the sauce was quite bland. I was expecting the four-fish dashi and bacon flavor to stand out, but I didn't really get much of either. The sesame seeds were also very overpowering and seemed to take over the dish. Overall, the sauce tasted more like a basic, thin cream sauce that didn't coat the noodles very well. The bacon and mushrooms also didn't add much flavor or stand out as much as I expected. My friend ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry. The katsu itself looked crispy and appetizing, but the curry came out lukewarm. My friend was okay with the temperature, but when I tried it, I was honestly surprised by how close to room temperature it was. I would have expected the curry to at least be served hot or noticeably warm. Overall, the presentation of the food was nice, but unfortunately the flavors and temperature of the dishes didn't meet our expectations. Between the initial order mix-up, undercooked pasta, bland sauce, and lukewarm curry, it just wasn't a particularly memorable meal. There are definitely some things that could be improved.
