This review is not for food, I'm sure it would've been great if the restaurant adhered to their announced opening schedule. The hours posted on their Yelp page is wrong. Regardless I waited about 15 minutes for them to open at the later opening time and still was closed. Employee was walking back and forth inside and could've easily mentioned they need more time to open instead of ignoring us.

My pho craving was fulfilled! One of the best foods to have after a night of drinking and going to a concert. The broth was delicious and hot! It doesn't need any additional sauces, just the herbs and lemon was good enough. There weren't any sauce dishes to put hoisin sauce and sriracha on the side, so I just used the same plate with the herbs. The veggie spring rolls were nice. It came with fish sauce, but I think it would be better with the peanut sauce. $16 for pho and $11-12 for the spring rolls. A little steep, however it is a big serving and they weren't skimpy on the meat. It was nice that they have lemon water. I was here on a Sunday during lunch, and I'm glad it wasn't super busy. I was seated quickly, having the option to choose the table. Service was exceptional!

    I have small hands.

$18 for the smallest pho I've ever seen. Very little beef in my Pho Tai. Broth was OK at best. By the way I have small hands... see pic

Simple Vietnamese place -- a bit pricey for Vietnamese, and not that special. There aren't many food options in this shopping center. You order at the front and then they'll bring your food. The bathroom here is blocked off, but you can use the one next door at Green Bakery & Cafe. I had the combination spring rolls with shrimp and chicken. I didn't like how they chopped off the ends, as that made the rolls harder to eat. Rolls had nice presentation though. The house sauce is rather sweet. The staff is friendly.

I've come here a couple times and overall, my favorite item here is the vermicelli bowl with lemongrass pork. I've also tried the pho but the broth is a bit too watery for my preference and combo banh mi was also not as savoury or flavourful as I'm used to. I will probably stick to the vermicelli bowl if I return. Competition for this place is a bit tough though given the recent pho place that opened down the street.

Some delicious Vietnamese food! The restaurant is very spacious inside and there are quite a few different types of seating. Their menu is also quite large and has a wide variety of different dishes from the classic pho to rice plates to banh mi and noodle salads. They also have quite an extensive drink menu with different milk teas, smoothies, etc. We got the special combination banh mi with tofu and the grilled pork vermicelli bowl. The banh mi came with seasoned tofu, egg, pickled veggies, and the most delicious pate. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside and enveloped the fillings so deliciously. I was also so immensely impressed with the vermicelli bowl! There was an extremely generous portion of grilled pork that was seasoned so well and was probably some of the most delicious pork that I've had. I also loved how there were bountiful amounts of crispy shallots and scallions on top for extra flavor. The noodles tasted fresh and the fish sauce was great as well. We also got to try the oolong peach milk tea and peach tea, both of which were delicious! I'm quite picky about boba and theses were definitely good quality. Overall, I would highly recommend checking this spot out for some great Vietnamese food!

I got the pork banh mi and it was pretty good (yummy but not the best banh mi I've ever had). I ordered pickup and it was ready right on time and the service was good!

Good service, good ambiance, food, is so goodddd this is our second time but gonna coma back for that bowl of soup and boba tea cravings satisfied

Pho Banh Mi has all the goods: good drinks, delicious pho, banh mis, and delicious pho. The menu has all the Vietnamese food options you would look for, yet it's simple. Their menu makes me want to come back and try everything on their menu. I tried the Special Pho #1 and traditional springs rolls recently. This day was a record high in the Bay Area, but I thoroughly enjoyed the hot bowl of pho. The meat was tender, and the broth was clean and perfect. They were generous with the meat portion. The spring rolls and fresh ingredients and their peanut sauce eas just right. Since it was a hot day, I had the honey lavender boba drink. There was delicious honey at the bottom of it. My friend had the peach infused drink, which was also refreshing for a hot day. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is good at the edge of downtown Los Altos. There is plenty of parking in the lot.

We had an unplanned pitstop at this place for our pho cravings. The location is so cute! Service was good too. About the food -- we ordered vegetarian pho and vegan Banh Mi. Both were better than average. I'd point out how the baguette did not have the authentic texture, but tofu in Banh Mi is not authentic either. So who am I to complain!? The bread was nice and soft and it made a big hearty sandwich. We weren't disappointed about stopping here. It's out of the way for us so we may not come back, but definitely recommend this place if you are around.

All Phở me, none for you. I've been to the Palo Alto location. First time at this location. Nice neighborhood. Really nice and attentive staff. Food came out so promptly! What we ordered: Phở special -- love how much meat you get for your order! Broth was hot and flavorful! I just wished the noodles were a bit longer and didn't break easily. Perhaps it got a little too soft because we spent some time taking pics of our food... oops Chicken Phở -- my friend said that there was a lot of chicken. That's a good thing..? Lol I helped myself to some chicken and added it to my bánh mì. Special combination bánh mì -- love how it had egg, Pâté, tender juicy pork, and picked daikon / carrots. It was loaded! I would have liked more Pâté or mayo tbh. The baguette was crispy, yet soft. Mango pineapple passionfruit smoothie -- my friend loved this drink. She had ordered that last time too! Avocado smoothie -- perfectly sweet and well blend. Not icy but actually like a creamy smoothie. Just how I like it! Good portions for Phở! All in all, I would come back.

I promised my son that after his evening workout I would bring him over to Lee's Sandwiches on Stevens Creek for his dinner meal. I knew that they would close at 8pm (supposedly) so we drove down there without any worries. We arrive with hungry stomaches- we are met by utter disappointment. The place was already closed before 7:30pm. WTF? Where there's disappointment there's also opportunity- a silver lining and of course Yelp to help you find your backup place to eat and we found only one place nearby that had a later closing time of 8:30pm. No place other than Pho Banh Mi. From our current location it was an easy drive less than 10 min up 280 North. I was already familiar with this location once I saw it on the map. Exit Magdalena off 280 and drive down the road to Foothill Expressway. Upon entering the shopping center we immediately saw the place. Small, just at the entrance of the shopping center to the right. What first caught my eye was a car parked next to the building at what appeared to be a drive-up pickup window. Ingenious!! My son and I already made up our minds that we were going to stay and eat because it was a nice evening tonight and we were already super hungry. We decided on of course what we came here for (Banh Mi sandwiches) including a side order of crispy wontons and some teas. The lady was quite friendly and when we told her how we ended up here, she shook her head when I mentioned the name "Lee's". We noticed some small tables along the common walkway outside so we decided to sit out there and she said she would find us. We were so relieved when we finally received our orders. Best Banh Mi ever!!! Why? - Fresh Bread, collapses in your mouth as you bite down and not hard, roof of your mouth cutting crusty like some places. - Grilled pork tasty including the pickled daikon and carrots including the secret ingredient duck paté - Crispy Wonton perfect flavor and crunch - Teas so wonderfully refreshing, not overwhelming sweetened and not made from artificial powders. My Flamingo Tea came with popping boba and my son's Thai tea was the real stuff. Less ice and more drink. Both of us were so impressed that we voted this place as our numero-uno, go-to for late evening Banh Mi cravings. The location is easy to get to, people friendly and welcoming and the drive up window is a rare but helpful option for to-go orders. Can't wait for the next cravings!!

The service was also good and attentive--no complaints there. The ambiance is pleasant as well. There are live plants throughout the space, the seating areas feel well maintained, and the chairs are actually very comfortable, which made dining in enjoyable. However, the reason I can't rate this place higher is the restroom. It was extremely dirty and had a strong odor that made it seem like it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. A dirty restroom reflects poorly on the overall establishment and was a big turn-off. It appears the restroom may be shared with neighboring businesses, but regardless, it's something that needs to be addressed. Coordinating regular cleanings or sharing the cost of maintenance with the other businesses could make a big difference. Fixing this would really improve the overall experience because the food and service are otherwise very good

The pate chaud is a little smaller than other locations, but it's good quality and flaky, not too oily. The store has a very homely but familiar atmsophere, which I feel could be divisive but I personally like. Aside from the ordering counter, the entire store is stuffed with a variety of snacks, drinks, and toys. Some of the snacks are familiarly American, but many are Vietnamese snacks/drinks more uncommon here, including fermented meats, honey comb cake, and more. The menu on the wall has a lot of photos, but it also doesn't cover everything you can order here. According to their menu, they primarily serve bahn mis and other sandwiches, but you can order spring rolls. I love their spring rolls, and it's all I really order here.
