However, the reason I can't rate this place higher is the restroom. It was extremely dirty and had a strong odor that made it seem like it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite some time. A dirty restroom reflects poorly on the overall establishment and was a big turn-off. It appears the restroom may be shared with neighboring businesses, but regardless, it's something that needs to be addressed. Coordinating regular cleanings or sharing the cost of maintenance with the other businesses could make a big difference. Looks like they only have indoor seating to dine in with nice decor and with a nice big storefront window.. Pick up was easy and was ready upon my arrival. The broth for the pho was still very hot by the time we arrived to our destination to enjoy our food. I appreciated the extra cling wrap packaged for the spring rolls and peanut sauce so that it wouldn't spill or get messy in the take out container. The avocado spring rolls were fresh though I do agree that the shredded lettuce makes it tend to follow apart quite easily. The dipping peanut sauce is really good not too thick and not too runny thin just the right consistency with good flavor as a complementary spring roll sauce. I thought the lemon grass tofu was rather small and portion, but maybe that could be the container that it was in and it did come with rice. The pho was overall good with lots of great veggies. It's a little pricey, $25 for a bowl if I'm not mistaken, however, you ARE getting what you pay for! Which is quality! The Wagyu beef is such a level up from your general "rare beef pho" too which is what I always got in the past from other restaurants and was happy with. But I found this place on yelp and the previous reviews did not disappoint in recommending this meal! It looks like a lot of meat but it melts in your mouth so you're not doing an aggressive amount of chewing or anything. Also, the bowl is hot and keeps the soup warm which is a huge game changer! My review is only for the caramelized Chilean sea bass claypot! I've been eyeing that dish for a while, I feel like it's not as easy to find except maybe if you're in Viet town. Usually whenever I get this dish it's made with catfish. I actually liked the change to Chilean sea bass because you don't have to work around as many bones, it's not as "muddy" tasting as catfish can be, and the texture of Chilean sea bass is also smooth/soft tho not as soft as catfish, but soft fish is overall what I prefer. I thought this dish was a tad salty but overall very delicious. It also comes with a side of salad and white rice. I was dipping the white rice into the sauce because its so good. However rather than salad I wish they added some bell peppers to this dish (like bu luo lac style). I think it would take this dish to the next level! I came here with a co-worker after a long day and enjoyed a banh mi and wagyu pho. I have seen places offer filet mignon pho, but never wagyu. It was quite the mark up so I thought about it. But when the wagyu came out, I knew I had made the right decision as there was so much meat. It was brought out on it's own plate, before the pho. The pho came a few minutes later and we dunked a few pieces of meat at a time for a great meal. The beef was so soft and tender and the broth was so flavorful. I got the bo kho - there were few pieces of tender beef chunk and lots of noodles, but not much vegetables. The broth was decent but not super flavorful nor outstanding. First time I got the seafood pho which seemed a bit pricey but you do get really good value with the black cod, crab claw, one prawn and some calamari.
