The fried rice was the surprise star -- properly made, no artificial color, genuinely delicious. The Kobee Roll left me wanting more sushi immediately. Service was excellent throughout. $45.53 for a full lunch spread. Can't give a full verdict without trying the pho at a place literally named after it. SAS Verdict: Maybe Approved. The menu is very comprehensive and it has everything we expected for a Pho restaurant. We both got Chicken Pho, it was piping hot and very tasty. We also had spring rolls. Good but pricey (you only get one and they cut like sushi into 8 pieces). We wouldn't order that again. Service was good. Restaurant is very pleasant and clean. The broth lacks flavor here. I base my pho around the base which is the broth so I can't say this place is a favorite of mine. What I can say is - they aren't ever super busy so you'll be helped in a decent amount of time. I thought they were quite fabulous. I went on a Monday evening. The service was pretty quick. They seem to have a lot of takeout orders . I ordered the beef Pho, pork egg rolls, and a side salad. The fart was made to perfection. The egg rolls were actually those very thin fried rice paper, so I was very happy. Lastly, the salad is a salad. How can you go wrong? I went on a Tuesday evening and it was pretty slow. Had the option to sit wherever I'd like and was attended to immediately. I'm not a huge Asian food eater but I was tired of the same ol same ol fast food and it trying to eat SOMEWHAT more healthier. My experience with Pho/Ramen doesn't extend past oodles n noodles in a cup lol. With that being said, this was fairly decent. The texture of the noodles have more texture than the soggy noodles I'm used to. The broth reminded me of the broth you get at hibachi restaurants, full of flavor. The chicken was nothing special. It had a sweet sauce (possibly hoisin) on it but not much flavor or juiciness in the chicken itself. It was fairly priced as the meal came out to $25. The egg and the salad (comes with a sweet vinaigrette type dressing) was pretty good. They have a lot of items on the menu. I am not into sushi but that is available if it's your thing. At first entering the restaurant, this place looks more like a bar than a restaurant. Well didn't stop me from going in and trying their Pho. I ordered shrimp summer roll and rare beef Pho extra large. The summer roll was fresh and great. My Pho broth was tasty. You can taste the soup that someone in the kitchen spend some time on that pot of soup cooking for hours. But I was a little disappointed on the Pho. It was 12.50 for the standard size bowl and I added $5.55 more to get the X-Large bowl because I'm a big eater. I find that the X-Large bowl is compare to other Vietnamese restaurants regular bowl size. Don't get rip off and stick to standard size. The service was great. Well I thought I was going to order pho, I heard it's good here! But I suddenly had a change of heart when it came time to order and decided to give their pad Thai a shot. I haven't been ordering pad Thai lately, why is that? I feel like it's often too sweet for my taste and I get tired of the flavor pretty quickly, maybe. Still, I had a hankering for it so I ordered the chicken pad Thai. It comes with all the classic stuff.. that sweet and sour sauce, crunchy bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, egg, green onion, lime. I'm happy to report that Pho Kobee's pad Thai was not overly sweet, it was super savory and salty and sour too. It's really well balanced and easy to eat a lot of, haha! Normally Bun (Vermicelli) is my favorite Vietnamese dish. Eager to try this restaurant I walked in for lunch today. I watched through the window as someone was greeted and seated by the wait staff. My turn next and I was ignored for a minute until I seated myself. It took a few minutes for anyone to approach me. I received my order after several other people who walked in behind me. The Vermicelli Chicken dish had the usual fresh vegetables, Vermicelli, and chicken. The chicken was dry and processed. The bowl seemed smaller than other restaurants offerings also. I ordered a couple things and tried to have an ingredient added to one and subtracted from the other... This place is fine if you don't come during the Noon to 1pm lunch rush hour. But if you do and choose to dine in, expect service to be a bit erratic. The tables don't seem to have dedicated servers to particular sections of the dining area, but rather all servers just inconsistently check up on diners. Thus, you might have one person take your order, another server deliver your food, another server bring your check, and if you're lucky, another server refill your drink. And there may be a long gap of time between any check ups by the servers. Having said all that though, the food here is good so I do end up eating lunch here if I'm in the area and in the mood for Thai food or pho. Nothing is knock my socks off amazing, but everything on the menu satisfies the craving. But if you're in a time crunch, I would probably visit elsewhere unless it's after 1:15pm or so read more

I found my visit to Pho Kobee to be quite good. I stopped in here wanting some Pad Thai after looking at the menu pictures on Yelp. I noticed they have a vegetarian section of the menu and everything looked pretty tasty so I gave it a try. I was quickly seated and ordered promptly. I must have timed it right as the last of the lunch rush seemed to be finishing. I sat at the bar, and the decor is nice, calming asian touches along with some odes to Dallas sports teams (Dez Bryant jersey) and such. While my food was being prepared I enjoyed a nice tall glass of Goose IPA on tap which was tasty. My veggie Pad Thai with tofu (minus egg) came out pretty quickly and I must say it sure looked amazing. The sauce had a nice deep rich color served with a lime on the side (as it should be) and some ground peanuts. The first bite was flavorful and the tofu was expertly cooked. Not too crispy, but not soggy either. The dish as a whole was flavorful but not as hot spice wise as I wanted (to be fair they didn't ask, nor did I mention I like it spicy. That simply slipped my mind). Fortunately a Pho provided Sriracha bottle was nearby. They also have hoisin sauce, chopsticks, and additional napkins within easy reach at the bar.
