I ordered the combination chicken pho (dark and white meat), and the broth was light, flavorful, and satisfying. Overprice and terrible quality. I had the combination rice plate for $16.50 and it didn't come with a lot of stuff that you would get at other places. Instead it was a markup for an egg and 3 tiny shrimp. The tau hu ky was bad. Like it's been in the fridge for a few days bad. For $16.50 I expect a small bowl of soup filled with msg on the side. I got delivery from pho hu by today after really craving some good pho. Over all the soup was really good, I enjoyed it! The service was fast. I wish the provided a few more like slices, but other than that I was very happy. Not sure on the ambiance as this was delivery instead of eating in. Customer service was just okay - they took the order and didn't check back in after the food came. There is a huge variety of pho bowls and the two we had didn't disappoint. nice clean place.. super efficient staff, food turn over from the time you order to the time it makes it to your table is impressive. gets really crowded during the lunch hour, but even though the place is basically covered in tile, the noise is level is acceptable. the pho broth is well done. not overly salted and not the seasonings arent overwhelming. side plate veggies are fresh and is the standard pho fare. over all not quite amazing, but rather acceptable to where i wouldnt mind coming back again for a quick bite. would recommend, will visit again read more

They have 2 spots that l I know of, this one and one in Mansfield. I've eaten at this one and the other one. The pho flavor is always good, you can taste the star anise, ginger, etc. and it's consistently the same. IMO it's not a out the best pho, it's about being consistent. My husband and i ordered takeout 2 vegetable pho, one large and one small. We love pho but this place missed the mark for us. While there was plenty of veggies, tofu, and broth, we just felt it all lacked flavor. They had the bag of AD's-ins like basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, and a lime wedge, we also got 2 cups is hoisin sauce, they do not have the option to make it spicy which is fine, Sriracha would have worked but there was none in the bag, even though she said she would put some in there per my request for spicy broth, We only got 1 small lime wedge for 2 bowls and barley any jalapeño, it didn't realize i needed to say how many of each. My favorite pho place, there's something about these noodles, they are easier to grab with the pho spoon, they break easy. love that about them. I always get the size small with well done brisket and they give you a lot of meat unlike other places. Service-The food comes out super quick but that's expected with pho right? They bring the check with the food and don't come back to ask if you need anything else, but they are attentive to your drinks they come around with water if that's what you got, not sure about other drinks. Yes, it's crappy, so pls don't waste your time and money to even go here. We ordered several broken rice combos and it was a joke!! What we got was rice, small (should've taken pics to prove my point) piece of meat, no egg, and that's it!! Great prices (under $10 a dish) and tasty pho! The broth is clear and flavorful, veggies are fresh. I wasn't a huge fan of the rice vermicelli, though. I ordered grilled pork and it had an extra smoky flavor that I'm not used to seeing in similar dishes I've had elsewhere (tasted like it was cooked in a burnt pot). Spacious booths to enjoy. Service: Immediate seating - always. Water glasses get to the table in less than 5 minutes of sitting down. Pho bowls got to the table in less than 10 minutes. Quality: The pho broth is good.. The base broth is a little darker than I prefer, but the flavor is still very full. The fatty tendon is very rubbery here and that's my favorite meat add-on. The meats at this location could be more marinated and the servings could be a little larger but I guess you get what you pay for. This place always has an odd odor...some days it smell like puke, and other days it smells like trash bags full of spoiled pho. I don't know,it's just unpleasant . Anyways, this review isn't about the odor or the customer service, it's purely on the food because if I actually rated fhoa place INCLUDING cs and smell, it'd be 1 star. The food is mediocre. The pho broth isn't super aromatic , but at least the portions are decent. The spring rolls are a hit or miss as sometimes the noodles inside are extremely dry as if it has just been sitting there for awhile. The rice dishes (com tam) are alright. The charbroiled beef (thit nuong) here doesn't have much of a smokey flavor, or any flavor really. It's pretty much dry and lackluster. Overall, it's simply a mediocre restaurant. If you want something more flavorful but don't mind the occasional flies or old booths, go inside Hong Kong Plaza, and buy a togo order from the food court. It's much better. I don't even know why I keep coming back to this place honestly, I've given them plenty of doubts. read more
