Definitely the best Hu Tieu west of Garland. We will be back. If you've never had this dish before. Try it.

One of the most stable Vietnamese restaurants in DFW. Their are famous for Hu Tieu My Tho including rice, clear and egg noddles.

Absolutely love this place! The food is so delicious and flavorful here. Warms your soul with every bowl. Service was fast and friendly. We were seated quickly when we walked in, our order was taken as soon as we were ready, and we waited barely any time for our food to come out. We ordered the bun rieu, hu tieu, and bun bo hue. I have to say their hu tieu that they're known for was the best. But everything else still tasted amazing. Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be returning!

Service was fast since they only had a few customers dining in. Staff were always attentive and attention to detail was spectacular. Saw a couple walk in with a small child and without being told, they grabbed a child booster seat. Disinfected the seat and got them settled in. Unsweet Jasmine iced tea was fabulous. The spring rolls with grilled shrimp were on point. Short ribs with rice was a good portion size. After I was done I got a jasmine tea to go on the house. Place is clean and well maintained, this is the only place I trust to eat in this shopping area. I have no complaints here. Great experience all around.

Honestly one of the better Vietnamese restaurants in Arlington. Each dish is pretty solid and the place is pretty clean. I recommend trying their hu tieu dry or soup version. The broth has a clean taste and you get to choose what noodle you would like! My parents like their thit nuong (grilled beef) it's pretty tender and has that smokey char taste. Service is decent, it's family owned so have a lot of patience! But the food comes out fast. Recommend if you are craving a Vietnamese dish

My friend recommended me to come here for their famous dish- Hu Tieu My Tho. When I walked inside the restaurant, a wave of nostalgia swept over me when I saw the owner was wearing Ao Ba Ba, a traditional Southern Vietnamese garment welcomed customers. Hu Tieu is a Vietnamese popular breakfast noodle dish in Southern Vietnam and can be served as a soup or dry. But, if you don't like Hu Tieu, they also have Pho, Rice porridge , Rice plate, vermicelli; you name it, they got it. Also a long list of appetizers and beverages. We ordered a bowl of Hu tieu Ca (Rice noodles Fish soup), Hu Tieu My Tho (clear noodles, dry version, served along side with hot bowl of savory pork broth),egg rolls and grilled pork. Imo, they serve authentic and comforting Hu Tieu bowls. I really loved the toppings - pork, pork liver and seafood was cooked perfectly, and broth was very tasty. I liked to add pickle garlic and jalapeños to give it a kick. Our orders came out within 5-10 minutes. Keep in mind they will charge a fee if you pay by card. Service was friendly. I"ll definitely come back next time visiting Dallas.

Hu Tieu My Tho is located in Cho Ben Thanh markert in Arlington, Tx, right outside the food court entrance serving up delicious bowls of noodle soup! We came in on a weekend, and it was fairly packed but managed to find a seat. We were presented our menus to order, and they took our drink orders as well when we sat down. The food served here is based off of there hu tieu broth, so we couldn't resist not ordering anything other than hu tieu! We went ahead and ordered the mi hoanh Thanh, which is a wonton noodle soup with egg noodles and wonton dumplings. We also ordered the udon noodles with pork and shrimp, and hu tieu my tho, which was a dry noodle dish with a broth. Everything was excellent and tasted phenomenal, and I couldn't get enough of slurping the tasty soup! They were garnished nice with green onions and chives, and the shrimp was as sweet as ever as if it was caught directly from the ocean. Customer service needed some help as we got a young lady as a waitress who had an attitude with us when asking about a food item from the menu. I'm guessing apparently she wasn't too fond and knowledgeable on the items listed on the menu, but other than that, everything was great. They will charge a 4% fee on any credit / debit card fees on all orders, so in other words, cash is king! Overall, it was a great noodle soup spot, and I'm looking forward to going back to try other dishes such as their pho, bun rieu, and appetizers.

We needed to grab something really quickly for lunch in the area as we were famished having had no breakfast whatsoever. My friend had been to HTMT before and wanted to take me there..i was so hungry I don't remember what I ordered ... possibly fatty brisket hu tieu? LoL ... anyway, I did remember to some pictures at least. The restaurant had a handful of tables when we walked in (we were there after the normal lunch hour). It's located inside a fairly quiet plaza that looks like it has been there forever (I was there on Monday at aroun 2pm, though) I'm not familiar with the area or the plaza but it looked like a popular place. Our foods were served promptly but it didn't come out steaming hot the way I like my noodle soup to come, I'm certain it would have elevated my appreciation for it. Even with the condiments I added the soup was still mediocre in my book. I mean, it wasn't crummy but it could have been better. I've had some hu tieu and pho that are flavourful even before adding any sauce or chilli oil to it. My eating buddy ordered a bowl of hu tieu and some fresh rolls. I noticed she piled in a lot more chilli oil and sauces than I did. I want to give this review an extra star for the service, though, because the ladies in there were lovely and that made the experience there all the better. Unfortunately 4 stars for a restaurant that serves just okay food would give others the wrong impression of the flavour of their foods.

Ca kho. Carmalize fish. (Really good)
Lynn P.

My initial thought about my fish dish was why it wasn't sizzling in the pot. When I ate the first bite it was really good. The fish was so soft and fatty at the same time. It was topped off with pork rinds. Yummy! It wasn't too salty or sweet. It was just perfect with the rice. The rice dish did not come close to the fish meal. The pork chop was a bit dry. Every thing about it was mediocre. Definitely come here for the Ca kho.

If you want a good hangover soup, this is the go to spot for hu tieu. The picture is after I've added the chili oil, sriracha, pickled garlic, and pickled jalapeños. You can get steamed bean sprouts upon request which I recommend. The flavor of the broth is rich. They give you a good amount of meat and noodles. The crispy pork crumbs is chef's kiss.

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food served in a spacious food court restaurant at Arlington's Ben Thanh Plaza always hits the spot! We have been to several Hu Tieu My Tho restaurants around the metroplex (the one in Garland at the Hiep Thai Marketplace is our usual) and we always come away having had a delicious meal. Today I had the grilled rice paper summer rolls, (rice paper wrappers filled with fresh grilled pork, cool rice noodles, and lettuce), served with a fresh homemade garlicy, sweet, and savory Nuoc Mam fish sauce for dipping. Such a refreshing and delicious start to my meal. Then my Vermicelli bowl arrived: a generous portion of freshly cooked round rice noodles, dressed with a salad of fresh sliced cucumber, lettuce, and shaved carrots, sprinkled with cilantro. I ordered grilled pork and two Vietnamese Cha Gio summer rolls on top, both of which gave a pleasant warm contrast to the cool noodles and vegetables. Pork was grilled perfectly, sliced thin, and with Tb the just enough flavorful fat to crisp a little on the edges while adding loads of flavor. The summer rolls were perfectly fried, crunchy and hot, with a flaky skin and not greasy at all. Service is professional, and the restaurant is clean. This place is always busy, and on weekends you will see large family gatherings here, trying all manner of authentic dishes served family style. We have pointed at those tables and ordered the same to try something new, and have always been happy we did! There is a 4% charge for using a debit or credit card, which is what the credit card companies charge the restaurant for their services. The restaurant is simply passing this charge through to customers who wish to use fried or debit cards, it is not a moneymaker for the restaurant. Pay with cash to avoid the fee. 5 delicious lunch stars

If you want to dive face first into a tasty, comforting bowl of phở, look no further. I admit I haven't managed to eat all the way through this menu, but their beef phở (whether it's the rare steak, flank, tendon, fatty brisket, meatballs, or all the above) is so incredibly delicious, I just can't seem to move on--especially when it's cooler weather or my allergies are acting up or... Just whenever, okay? Seriously, the broth is fragrant and delicious and the side of jalapeños, Thai basil, bean sprouts, and onions are always fresh. I particularly enjoy it with a pot of jasmine tea. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive no matter how busy it gets. I think it's much easier to walk around in the current location versus their previous one (that had lots of family style seating). It's hard for me to drive past Phở Pasteur without stopping for a bite. I definitely recommend it.

I also love their fried egg roll, flavor is extremely authentic and they fry them fresh to order. Patience is sometimes needed when it comes to service, as they are a small ESL business, but they do their best to seat & serve you as quick as possible. There's plenty of seating but since they close at 7 PM everyday, they do get a rush of customers right around 6 PM. Years later, I am back to working in Arlington and recently finally made it to Ba Le. I know they are known for their sandwichies, and I dint know you could order them off the deli counter instead of ordering them from the sit-down restaurant. The first time i went, I ordered a sandwich and a noodle dish. The sandwich was the first thing that came out; it was hot, like right off the oven, hot! The sandwich had lots of pate, and the meat was well-seasoned but not as good at the one from Saigon Deli (that's my ride or die for Vietnamese sandwiches). Next time I go, I will try a different sandwich. During this visit, I had a noodle dish,h and it was good, nothing amazing (i think it was the lemon grass beef). Really good. I went and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated. They have an iPad to check in, and that's how they know the order to seat people. The service was fast since they are really busy every day. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms when I went. On my second visit, is when I tried the Pho, and I am hooked. I tried the combination pho and it was everything like the pictures show! When I tried the brooth I could tell they really go big on the spices that make up the broth, star anise, cloves, cardamom and everything else. I really enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can see what all the hype is about, but for my pho i usually go to Pho 95. I did try the Vietnamese coffee, and even tho i asked for it to be extra sweet, it was not sweet enough. Since then, I been on a Vietnamese coffee kick and I can't stop haha. I need to start making my way to this restaurant more often.
