Com Ga xoi mo - marinated deep fried Cornish hen with rice
Martha N.

Every time I'm in the DFW area for more than a few days, I like to stop here to get my PTT fix. Their com ga xoi mo (marinated deep fried Cornish hen), ca ri ga (Vietnamese chicken curry), and ca ri de (Vietnamese goat curry) are all so consistently good. The staff are always friendly and attentive. You can tell it's a neighbor spot that love their customers.

I woke up this morning and was craving com ga xoi mo (marinated dep fried Cornish hen) so badly. So guess what I had for lunch? PTT is known for this dish! I haven't been back for a few years and it did not disappoint. My cravings were satisfied. The servers were welcoming and nice. My only complaint is that I felt like the rice was lacking something but I can't pinpoint it. The salad pair nicely with this dish. If you haven't had their chicken dish, you should try it! It's perfectly seasoned and deep fried. Yummms! Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5

Lettuce and Mint Wraps

We have come to this Vietnamese restaurant in the past. Every time we come, we are never disappointed. On this visit, we started out with The Fried Egg Rolls. They come with Lettuce Wraps, Mint and Dipping Sauce. They crunchiness of the egg rolls along with the mint was a perfect combination. We then had The Spring Rolls with Grilled Pork. These were some of the best Spring Rolls that I have had in some time. They are know for their Fried Cornish Game Hen with Rice. I got this dish and it was worth it. The spices that were on the chicken were a perfect combination and did not need any other sauce to make it good. As if the chicken was not good in itself, the bed of rice that the chicken came on was just as good as the chicken. We finished off with The Coconut and Jackfruit Dessert. It was a perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The atmosphere was a like a very neat and clean hole in the wall. The service was great. The food was delicious. We will come back again.

This is yet another place my friend frequents and brought me to during my trip to Texas. He suggested ordering the Cơm Gà Xối Mỡ (marinated deep fried cornish hen served with rice and salad) since this place is praised for their chicken plates. At Vietnamese restaurants, I don't typically order rice plates/dishes, but this is definitely THE rice place to order! The chicken is very flavorful and the salad it is served with complements it.

This place was packed on Sunday, small but easily can get seating, we got the simple wonton and broken rice, the food tasted so good! Better than most of the pho places around, everything on the plate was hot and service was nice and easy they even refilled water!

This place is the OG of chicken plates! So yummmy! A staple to go to when you're in arlington! Make sure you get the tomato rice! It pairs so perfectly with the chicken! They' brown that chicken so well ! Perfect crisp! I also love their noodle Soups! Broth is so flavorful, and ingredients are comforting !

Hu Tieu Dry (clear noodles)

It might be hard to find the store front because it just says PTT instead of the whole name. One of my friends ordered the Pate Chaud (2/5) as an appetizer. They only serve it on the weekends I think. I tried a piece and it was okay, I've had better. For my entree, I ordered the Dry Hu Tieu (2.5/5). FYI, the main reason I like Dry Hu Tieu is because of the sauce. Restaurants typically make their own sauce and it's pretty good. When the server gave me the bowl, I didn't see any sauce. They gave me this red sauce on the side, which had a salsa consistency to it. I expected it to be spicy but it wasn't. I've never seen this sauce before and I've had Hu Tieu several times. I wasn't a fan of their sauce and ended up adding hoison and sriracha instead. They were pretty generous with their portions but it wasn't anything special. My bestie enjoyed her traditional Hu Tieu which came with 2 different types of noodles. Her boyfriend also liked the chicken and rice. I wasn't a fan of what I ordered though.

This is our 3rd time coming back here from Boston every time we visit Dallas! The service is quick and the food is very good with good prices. This is a family restaurant and is pretty well known in the area

Rotisserie chicken off the menu

I ordered Rotisserie chicken with broken rice (1st photo) and its usually a whole breast, but it's appeared they must have run out where in my order I get the pieces (2nd picture). However, I'm being charge full price and yep they didn't even tell me about it. Does the 2nd picture look like a meal for a full price of nearly $18? Man this is the last time I'm going order there. I've known them for decades but this is really unacceptable.

Visited TX, my sister took me to this restaurant for lunch, due to many Viets friends recommended. Their service is great, but not the food.

The goat curry is amazing! And the pork buns are a nice appetizer. Service was prompt despite it being quite busy.

If you want to dive face first into a tasty, comforting bowl of phở, look no further. I admit I haven't managed to eat all the way through this menu, but their beef phở (whether it's the rare steak, flank, tendon, fatty brisket, meatballs, or all the above) is so incredibly delicious, I just can't seem to move on--especially when it's cooler weather or my allergies are acting up or... Just whenever, okay? Seriously, the broth is fragrant and delicious and the side of jalapeños, Thai basil, bean sprouts, and onions are always fresh. I particularly enjoy it with a pot of jasmine tea. The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive no matter how busy it gets. I think it's much easier to walk around in the current location versus their previous one (that had lots of family style seating). It's hard for me to drive past Phở Pasteur without stopping for a bite. I definitely recommend it.

Eating from LA, Vegas, MN, WI, MI, IL, NC, OH, Manhattan, NY, FL, KS, MS, D.C. Canada, etc. I've had the best pho (rated by the expert locals) in LA, Hollywood, Chicago, GA, and FL. I make reviews after tasting their pho. I know what pho is good and what is fake!*** Do not miss this GEM! My Star System: 1=Dumpster fire. Don't waste your money 2=Disappointed. Lot of issues 3=Average, 1-2 issues. 4=Above average, I might come again 1-3 times per year 5=Highest. I will come back a few times a month or more. If I live far, it's at the top of my list to visit when I'm in town. Highly Recommended

One of the best known viet pho & banh mi place in Arlington…read more Their beef rib pho is the most well known, as it comes with sliced meat & a super soft and tender beef rib. I also love their fried egg roll, flavor is extremely authentic and they fry them fresh to order. Patience is sometimes needed when it comes to service, as they are a small ESL business, but they do their best to seat & serve you as quick as possible. There's plenty of seating but since they close at 7 PM everyday, they do get a rush of customers right around 6 PM. I really liked how clean their tables are and how they provide sanitizer wipes at each table, very comfy vibes.

Years later, I am back to working in Arlington and recently finally made it to Ba Le. I know they are known for their sandwichies, and I dint know you could order them off the deli counter instead of ordering them from the sit-down restaurant. The first time i went, I ordered a sandwich and a noodle dish. The sandwich was the first thing that came out; it was hot, like right off the oven, hot! The sandwich had lots of pate, and the meat was well-seasoned but not as good at the one from Saigon Deli (that's my ride or die for Vietnamese sandwiches). Next time I go, I will try a different sandwich. During this visit, I had a noodle dish,h and it was good, nothing amazing (i think it was the lemon grass beef). Really good. I went and only had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be seated. They have an iPad to check in, and that's how they know the order to seat people. The service was fast since they are really busy every day. The restaurant was clean, and so were the bathrooms when I went. On my second visit, is when I tried the Pho, and I am hooked. I tried the combination pho and it was everything like the pictures show! When I tried the brooth I could tell they really go big on the spices that make up the broth, star anise, cloves, cardamom and everything else. I really enjoyed the broth, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I can see what all the hype is about, but for my pho i usually go to Pho 95. I did try the Vietnamese coffee, and even tho i asked for it to be extra sweet, it was not sweet enough. Since then, I been on a Vietnamese coffee kick and I can't stop haha. I need to start making my way to this restaurant more often.
