Solid Vietnamese food with a huge menu. Apparently this is pretty famous place. Service was okay. I got the butter fried chicken (10/10 we ordered some togo), pork rice plate (eh okay 6/10), cơm gà xối mở (pretty solid but a little dry) and curry with bread and rice (good and pretty spicy but tasted more like indian curry than what I was expecting). The 2 grilled pork chops on my dish were massive! It was marinated so well and cooked to perfection- a little charred for that extra smokey flavor. It was juicy, tender and had just a tad of fat in it. The lemongrass came off a little strong but that's the way I like it. The portion size is just crazy, I couldn't even finish it! We also had the sliced pork over broken rice was just as flavorful, but the meat was a bit dry. The nuoc mam (dipping sauce) helped with the dryness, but it was a little too sweet for my taste so I didn't use much. The ambiance was pretty chill on a Friday afternoon. There were 5 other tables and non-stop Door-dash orders/pick-ups. The servers were super friendly, especially the little older Asian lady. She was so polite and inviting, such a sweetheart. My family always comes here whenever we stop by Arlington. This restaurant has been here for years and this is one of their famous dishes. The Cornish hen is perfectly fried and the rice is packed with chicken flavor. I don't typically eat a lot but I can scarf this down easily. Service is quick and food gets to you fast as well. We have come to this Vietnamese restaurant in the past. Every time we come, we are never disappointed. On this visit, we started out with The Fried Egg Rolls. They come with Lettuce Wraps, Mint and Dipping Sauce. They crunchiness of the egg rolls along with the mint was a perfect combination. We then had The Spring Rolls with Grilled Pork. These were some of the best Spring Rolls that I have had in some time. They are know for their Fried Cornish Game Hen with Rice. I got this dish and it was worth it. The spices that were on the chicken were a perfect combination and did not need any other sauce to make it good. As if the chicken was not good in itself, the bed of rice that the chicken came on was just as good as the chicken. We finished off with The Coconut and Jackfruit Dessert. He suggested ordering the Cơm Gà Xối Mỡ (marinated deep fried cornish hen served with rice and salad) since this place is praised for their chicken plates. Best com tam in arlington. I love the Com Ga Roti but others I go with love the Com ga xoi mo. The price for each plate is on the more expensive side these days but the it still just as delicious! Definitely can't get com ga roti like this at any other place. read more

This place was packed on Sunday, small but easily can get seating, we got the simple wonton and broken rice, the food tasted so good! Better than most of the pho places around, everything on the plate was hot and service was nice and easy they even refilled water! read more

We got the Bún Thịt Nướng (Vietnamese Grilled Pork Noodles) with egg rolls, and the wonton noodle soup...both were very good, but they used the small egg rolls, and it was a bit different tasting than the larger egg rolls most other places serve with the vermicelli noodle. Prices were slightly higher than other similar places but I think the quality was there. Service was good when we went. read more

This place is the OG of chicken plates! So yummmy! A staple to go to when you're in arlington! Make sure you get the tomato rice! It pairs so perfectly with the chicken! It might be hard to find the store front because it just says PTT instead of the whole name. One of my friends ordered the Pate Chaud (2/5) as an appetizer. They only serve it on the weekends I think. I tried a piece and it was okay, I've had better. For my entree, I ordered the Dry Hu Tieu (2.5/5). FYI, the main reason I like Dry Hu Tieu is because of the sauce. Restaurants typically make their own sauce and it's pretty good. When the server gave me the bowl, I didn't see any sauce. They gave me this red sauce on the side, which had a salsa consistency to it. I expected it to be spicy but it wasn't. I've never seen this sauce before and I've had Hu Tieu several times. I wasn't a fan of their sauce and ended up adding hoison and sriracha instead. They were pretty generous with their portions but it wasn't anything special. My bestie enjoyed her traditional Hu Tieu which came with 2 different types of noodles. Her boyfriend also liked the chicken and rice. I wasn't a fan of what I ordered though. read more

I think this has great soup flavors than Pho 95. If this place would only open til late then this would be my family's go to resto. I noticed others posted pics saying there's sauce on the side and that it tasted like salsa, but mine was already mixed in the bowl. And...it did not taste like salsa. My bowl was perfect! It only has pork and shrimp with bok choy, etc. I also ordered the com ga roti. This was really good!! My husband ordered the com bo luc lac, and I tried it. I do not recommend this dish. Meat was chewy and dry, and I think it's overly caramelized. Now the price is a lot higher than most places, even though food is good, com ga roti is like 18 something bucks if you use a credit card. If you pay with cash, it's 17 bucks. Hu tieu my kho was 18 bucks with cc, but 17 with cash. I'm so used to my 11.95 bowl with more other toppings in Garland lol. First time here to see what's all the hype is about . I guess my friends comes here on a regular basis . They recommended the curry chicken with the bread , it came out kind of bland and a little salty . I got the chicken roti with rice , the chicken was way too salty for me. All in all the food was way too salty and I had to drink extra water to balance out the saltiness. I hope the chef would marinate the meats with less salt in most of their meats. I left here with unsatisfied and unfulfilled. There's better places to try in Arlington. read more

This place feels like a boutique cafe, simply because there are TWO primary things people come here for: Com Ga Ro Ti and Com Ga Xoi Mo (rice dish w/ marinated chicken and rice dish w/ deep fried half-hen). Tucked in a small shopping strip at the NE corner of New York and Arkansas streets, PTT has been around for 20+ years. If that wasn't enough of a testament to their quality of food, the way my reluctant eater devoured her portion of hub's pork rice plate, eggrolls, and the drumstick from my chicken reinforced my faith in their cooking. The store wasn't that crowded just around 4 more people. We ordered the com ga ro ti and mi xa xiu hoang thanh because it was a chilly day. I ask for the soup version but I wanted it on the side, that doesn't mean a small bowl of soup. I was hoping to add the soup in myself so I can adjust to my liking but they gave me a very small amount, so I had to eat it the dried way. The com ga was alright, the chicken tasted good but the rice needed some more seasoning. Orange rice is really hit or miss. The little bowl soup was very salty from both my boyfriend and my dish. Best place hands down in arlington for "Com ga Roti" and "Com ga xoi mo" you will never find another place that compares. The flavor is always on point. And it is always consistent here. I've never experience an "ew...it don't taste right today" here. These are the two plates they are really known for, so give it a try. I also really love the "bun thit nuong cha gio" lots of flavor and can't complain about the portions of food here. Def worth the money. Egg rolls are smaller here, but packed with meat. It's so good and doesn't taste greasy when you bite into it. Come early on the weekends because they also offer "pate chaud," if u don't know what it is, I suggest don't hesitate to try it. I tried "com bo luc lac" today to try something different off the menu, and let's just say... I'll never order it again. The meat was inconsistent in every bite. It was chewy and had no flavor while other pieces are tender and soft. This is my go to clean and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It is simple yet well executed. I just do not frequenr often since their well known dish.. The cornish hen is not my thing. But I do like their wet noodle dishes and curry chicken wih french bread. Their rice dishes with pork is flavorful and comes with a fresh salad with homemade dressing. They have great service for being an Asian restaurant and the owner is really nice. She has always been patience with me in the past and made suggestions for kids friendly dishes. I usually get the curry chicken and rice dish to go. It is a place where I would take visitors but it is a small place so can get crowded on weekends. read more

A small gem of a Vietnamese restaurant. I came with my friends and we tried very dishes. The curry chicken, grilled pork with rice, chicken wings, and the rice with chicken (com ga xao mo). The com ga xao mo lives to the hype - the skin was very crispy and the rice was very flavorful. The chicken wings on the other hand were general chicken wings that didn't reach stand out much but their rice dishes were a solid hit and can't go wrong especially with the big portions. For a Vietnamese restuarant to not serve pho they must do other dishes right and I have to say the goat curry was excellent.. the meat was so tender and soft. Must of been cooking for hours.
