Vietalia is one of our favorite places to order delivery from. They have so many delicious options on their menu, it's seriously always easy to find something that sounds appealing. When you're having those "I can't decide what I want" moments, skip the endless scrolling and make your life easier and go with Vietalia. Pho, fettuccine Alfredo, a burger, Caesar salad, spicy dumplings, tiramisu, fried rice... the menu is Vietnamese and Italian, with hamburgers and chicken fingers thrown in too. Plus fresh fruit smoothies (they are SO good) and boba tea. See? I bet I named at least 3 things you totally want to order. You know, I don't usually like a menu that has too many things on it, but Vietalia seems to know what they're doing and their food is preeeeetty tasty. I was skeptical at first thinking this was an Italian Vietnamese fusion place but as I looked at the menu online, I saw that it serves both cuisines. My husband loves Vietnamese food and I love Italian. On paper, this checked all the boxes. We arrived, ordered and food came pretty quick. When you walk in, you are greeted by tables, a menu with missing prices, and a splash of vietnamese culture. In honesty, this is definitely a whole in the wall type of place. For its price, I'd say it was pretty good. Since this is a more of a to-go place, it's mostly they serve you and that's it. Piles of paperwork behind the counter. One lonely kitchen worker. A disinterested clerk at the counter. Prices are no longer posted on the menu. Should have left. Got some lemongrass beef and grilled shrimp and some lemongrass pork fried rice. Then told I'd have to wait 25 minutes as there were two orders ahead of me. Really? Glad you're not busy. An egg roll was a putrid mush with an over fried wrapper from old cold oil. Spit it out and threw away. The noodles were bland, the beef tough, the shrimp old and tough. The fried rice was just gross with nothing but the taste of old oil. We are blessed with lots of great Vietnamese places around here. Botha's where I'll go next time. Won't be back. Meh. I had high hopes for this place. I think it all fell flat. My first impression was: no high chairs. So our two year old could barely reach the table. Second impression: the Thai tea was so yummy (it was frosted- like a Frappuccino consistency!) I wish all bubble teas came like that, so the ice doesn't water it down. However, the boba pearls were bitter. Not sweet at all like most boba places. That made it very disappointing. My curry chicken clay pot came out sizzling, and I was excited. (A little too excited- burned my mouth! Oops!) Unfortunately, the rice was completely burned and crunchy from the heat of the pot, leaving it super unpleasant and stuck all in my teeth. The curry itself had very little chicken, mostly potatoes. It didn't have much of a sweet and savory flavor that yellow curries usually have. It fell flat in the flavor department for me. My husband had the fettuccine Alfredo- it was very flavorful, but he had a lot of chicken left after finishing the noodles. It needed more pasta, for sure. So I have to admit when I first heard of Vietalia I thought it was gonna be a fusion of my two favorite cuisines - Italian and Vietnamese. In actuality, Vietalia simply serves both Italian food and Vietnamese food. But I guess it's not a bad thing because Vietnamese and Italian fusion probably wouldn't work out all that well. Vietalia is located pretty much right next to UTA and is a prime location for targeting college students. The food is pretty affordable and no-fuss. You'd be surprised to see that this Vietnamese-owned restaurant whips up some solid Italian for so cheap. I love the fried calamari here. The breading is perfect, great spices. And the texture of the calamari is on-point as well. Love the dipping sauce! I'm always disappointed when I get marinara dipping sauce with fried calamari so it's always a plus when it's not marinara. I tried the garlic & chargrilled pork fried rice and thought it was pretty solid. Would definitely order it again. And the tiramisu, y'all. I had the beef Pho with flank and meatball (you get to choose 2 meats). It was out of this world good! I've tried Pho in numerous spots around DFW and only one of which beats this places broth! My friend had the chicken Pho (you can have white meat, dark mear or both). He agreed that the other spot was the only other that had broth this delish! His wife had the Carbonara and it smelled like heaven! She said it was outstanding. Her nephew went with the lasagne and it too looked amazing! He confirmed that it was as delicious as it looked! There were so many options on their menu, we will all for sure be back try something new! The service was great. I read about this place on Yelp and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Chargrilled Sliced Pork Banh Mi with fries and a Thai Tea. This was my first time trying a bahn mi and it did not disappoint. The pork tasted absolutely wonderful! It was flavorfull and fresh. The sour radish, carrot, onion, cucumer, jalapeno & cilantro were fresh as well. The fries were served hot. Overall the whole meal was a great experience. I also orderd a Thai Tea and it was good. A place very close to the University of Texas at Arlington, that serves a mix of both Italian and Vietnamese food. I have tired the Banh Mi here and I liked it a lot. Their lemon grass beef and chargrilled pork are very tasty. Their curry chicken is closer to the Thai chicken curry than Indian. This place also serves bubble tea with about 10 odd flavors. The milk tea is slightly thicker here than the ones at Bethany's and I-Cafe. I also like their clay pot rice. The portions are not really big but quite filling and fresh food. There isn't a lot of room here to sit other than about one table and about five high tables. Not good for big groups. They also have a delivery service that's free for distances within 3miles with a $12 minimum order. But eventually I would say, if you haven't gone here, it worth giving it a shot. read more

The price is reasonable, and you get 10% discount when showing current UTA ID. The wait was long though since only one lady was serving and other staff are on delivery duty.
