We waited for our entrees for 35 mins.. and were not served a rack of bread until we asked for it. This waitress was super rude and very defensive. When I walked in I was greeted & seated right away, the kid that seated us was polite & our waiter JP also had a great personality. A+ on their friendly yet professional customer service. The menu is just front & back, which is great, it's not a thousand things they are trying to serve & perfect. What they do offer, it's done right! I had the tortellini michaelangelo & my friend had fettuccine alfredo, both were delicious. The artichokes are what really made my dish, it balanced out the bacon really well, which they truly did not skimp on. :) The pink sauce was excellent, it wasn't greasy or too rich or even thin like some places can be. My friend also enjoyed her pasta, we both finished our entire dishes. Lol, no regrets. Cafe Sicilia is a lovely little north Texas chain that has the best classic Italian restaurant vibes and really delicious food. They have 4 or 5 locations across DFW (I'm most familiar with the one in Bedford) and this one is as cozy and charming as any. It's great for family dinner or date night or girls night -- BYOB whatever the situation to enjoy with this food! Luckily for me they have gluten free penne and spaghetti noodles on hand, so I'm able to sub that for most pasta dishes. My favorites are the capellini broccoli (pasta sauteed with broccoli in a garlic lemon wine sauce YUM) and the capellini Giuseppe (pasta sauteed with bacon, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes in pink or Alfredo sauce DOUBLE YUM). Both dishes are traditionally made with angel hair pasta, but I promise they're just as good with my gf noodles! Gluten free food has come a long way! read more

It's BYOB so you can bring your bottles or drink of choice and they provide wine or whiskey glasses! The food is incredible, I love the pizza, the pasta and the calamari is so good! This is our local go to for Italian over the other options in our immediate vicinity. We've eaten here enough to give a well rounded rating. It's a solid choice if you don't want to travel far from here. Skip the garlic bread, it's nothing special and after trying a few times, it's consistently not great (tough and dry, we usually just pick the cheese off it). Their rolls are ok, but only if they are fresh. They can make a dish spicy which scores points with me since most places don't do this at all. So if spicy is your thing, this is your spot! Some of their options can have an overabundance of oil, just be aware. I usually order pink sauce, Alfredo, vodka, or a cheese tortellini. I rotate around these options, all are good. Their meatballs have never been dry, also a plus. Their pizza is good, I haven't been disappointed but only tried a feItalian. Their tiramisu is some of the best I've had, it's served almost pudding style but it is fantastic. Ultimately, a solid local choice for italian.
