The food is always good here! Tonight we had lasagna, build your own pasta with angel hair, basil pesto sauce and grilled chicken and mozzarella sticks. The derive was friendly and prompt. The decor is Italian cafe and feels like old school charm. Check this place out if you are in the area.

Overall visit was fantastic! My friend & I had dinner here on Tuesday night, we were not disappointed! When I walked in I was greeted & seated right away, the kid that seated us was polite & our waiter JP also had a great personality. A+ on their friendly yet professional customer service. The menu is just front & back, which is great, it's not a thousand things they are trying to serve & perfect. What they do offer, it's done right! I had the tortellini michaelangelo & my friend had fettuccine alfredo, both were delicious. The artichokes are what really made my dish, it balanced out the bacon really well, which they truly did not skimp on. :) The pink sauce was excellent, it wasn't greasy or too rich or even thin like some places can be. My friend also enjoyed her pasta, we both finished our entire dishes. Lol, no regrets. Great prices, our food came out quickly (which did not compromise the taste), clean restaurant, with beautiful decor. It's a laid back vibe, classy yet a place for everyone. I'll definitely be back, add them to your list of places to eat if you haven't already done so!

The Chicken Rollatini and their rolls.

I Highly recommend this place! Service was good and the Food Delicious. Loved the decor and ambience. The only reason I'm giving a four was because I had to ask for a refill on my drink. Definitely Will return when I'm in town!

    Chicken Piccata

Food, when served, did not look appealing. The piccata was way too salty. The garlic rolls were the only highlight of the evening. Our server was so-so. She didn't go out of her way to check on us. The restaurant itself is dark and drab with outdated decor. Cafe Sicilia could certainly use a refresh!

Always a pleasure! I love the food here. The home cooking style Italian is rare these days.

Hi everyone. Not much to say. Nice overcast evening. Atmosphere is Deep Ellumish, but nicer, more family friendly. Ordered the garlic flatbread, a Margherita pizza with sausage, cup pepperoni, and caramelized onions. Everything was as expected. That I travel to Socal a lot, this pizza reminds me of being in Oceanside, San Diego, looking out at the waves crashing in, sauntering back out, soft salty breezes, and taking it sooooo easy. It's a relaxing bite. Brick oven sophistication, but simple fresh ingredients that make each slice super light. It's a vacation for the palate away from the usual. Try the patio. Service was awesome. Peace.

When I mentioned it to the server, she responded with an attitude, saying, "we cook it al dente." I understand that al dente is the intended style, but this was much firmer than expected. I asked if it could be cooked a little longer. The server said it would take about five minutes, but when the dish came back, the texture was exactly the same. It didn't seem like anything had been changed. What made the experience even more disappointing was the service. The server never came back to check if the recooked dish was satisfactory. Instead, she only stopped by to ask if I wanted a to-go box. I've dined at this restaurant several times before and have always had a good experience, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had here and the lack of professionalism and customer service.
