As the saying goes... If I could leave NO STARS I would. First of all, I don't know what people are drooling over, this is NOT great Pizza!!! Where do I start...oh and don't worry I don't need anyone to tell me to kick rocks or find another pizza joint and leave us alone. HAVE IT!
The ownership will likely write back and either tell me I am really off base or they are sorry and to call them...no real care from this "Family Owned" establishment. They just keep shining that turd don't they!
So, we sit, its busy, we are chilling and not really concerned with the slow service as we get it, it's busy. Server was new, again we get it...its busy and she was busy. We order, Garlic Knots and Mozzarella sticks come out...not too bad right. The marinara sauce was watered down and had little to no taste. Eh, no biggie. We then notice an unusual amount of flies and gnats. Weird at this time of year, but ok...whatever.
Next, food takes FOREVER to come out...I mean like over an hour later.
This is where things turned...Everything is cold.
Still we say nothing and chalk it up to a busy night.
So we start eating the cold food.
The food itself was pretty frozen pizza ok, not anything to jump for and the prices for this amateur taste and quality were not appropriate. You can taste when CHEAP product is being used. Nothing authentic or with any sense of quality what so ever.
So, again still we have said and shown zero emotion to any of the above...not one word.
Next is what takes the cake and had me walking out and my wife then dealt with what I can only describe as the most rude, obnoxious and miserable human being we have come across in a very long time.
One of those flies I told you about earlier in the story, yup you guessed it lands AND CRAWLS down into my sons pasta....YUCK right. Ewww.
We tell the server, and she takes it to the back. Comes back with SAME PASTA in a "To-Go" container and says the manager poked around in it and didn't see a fly or anything. We said well we would like it remade and she refused saying the manager would not do that because (GET THIS) they couldn't find the fly. WOW.
So my wife asks to speak to this manager who above I noted as the most miserable human being to come across in a long time...yea her. Glasses, Attitude, Snarky, Rude and Obnoxious. Nothing against the glasses, just a way for you all to identify her the next time you walk into this "wholesome authentic family owned establishment."
So this manager, begins to attempt to "School" my wife on what they WON'T do. My wife explains its not our fault the fly landed in the food and the Manager proceeds to tell her basically she can't do anything about the door opening and closing and fly's coming in...which ONE OK, sure got ya, but Two cmon...really you are having a LOT of fly's for early March around here...something else is drawing them in or maybe they were already inside...it was pretty much filthy inside.
So after just about making a scene, the manager OH SO gracefully offers to take the pasta off our bill. OH My WHAT! Wow, Thank you. I should leave a positive review because for 10-15 mins you embarrassed yourself and made me have to stand there and argue with you about $8... She also kept on complaining and barking at me about it after it was done and of course, its no one's fault and the server is new blah blah blah.
Ok, in all seriousness. I am not a jerk and not typically this snarky in my feedback even when it's negative. I will leave a review on facts and get to the point, but this one, this person rubbed this Disabled Vet the wrong way and this review on Nizza Pizza is fully warranted.
