I recently moved to Slidell a few months ago, and I've been missing my pho spot in my old town. So I ordered this as take out. Thinking I'll just give it a shot. I was so happy. For one it came with the bowl. I know that's something so small but I LOVE that it came with a bowl. The veggie bag was packed with everything I could possibly need. So much meat in the soup. All I had to do was pour the broth into the bowl provided. Everything else was already in it. And it was absolutely delicious. I will be ordering again really soon.

After stopping for gas in the area, we headed over to Pho House for lunch. We ordered the spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue) and grilled pork & egg roll vermicelli (thit nuong & cha gio.) The pork was sliced a bit too thick for my liking. However, the food was surprisingly very tasty, considering we're in Louisiana. Without a doubt, the food served at Pho House surpasses Pho Ever in Leesville. The 3.95% credit card charge sucks, but you have no choice but to pay up unless you have cash ready and available in your wallet. There's a large aquarium situated near the bar area. The booth seats are pretty worn and should be replaced or possibly reupholstered. Service was very friendly and upbeat. This establishment is also kid friendly and offered lollipops to young children. I'd definitely return.

Cold and rainy days call for a steamy bowl of pho to warm you up and satisfy your hunger. Pho House serves up the ***BEST PHO*** in Slidell and that's PHO sure! PHO-get trying out other places because their pho is PHO-real! Instead of making a pit stop, take the time for a PHO-stop!!! Pho House is located in a less traversed shopping center (just off I-12 and Brownswitch Road) but don't let that keep you away from trying some Vietnamese cuisine. I can always count on a good home-cooked meal at this family owned and operated restaurant with friendly service. Our go-to is the Pho House, which is basically pho dac biet (combination pho), available in a small or large bowl. After sipping the pho broth, you can tell that it's flavorful and on point, just like mama used to make! You can tell that they use quality ingredients and lots of love. Pho: amazingly PHO-tastic! (5/5) Spring rolls: fresh and delicious but I prefer the pork-shrimp but the other kinds are tasty (4/5) Thai delight salad: seafood (squid and shrimp) salad made with a strong fish sauce dressing; proceed with caution if you're not accustomed to the sometimes overwhelming taste of fish sauce (4/5) Banh mi (Vietnamese poboy): perfect for lunch (5/5) Ca kho to (catfish in clay pot): yummy caramelized catfish cooked in a clay pot; almost as good as mama makes (5/5) Cafe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee): get this if you want a major jolt of caffeine to get wired; it's sweet and strong (5/5) You honestly cannot go wrong with any of the dishes here because I've enjoyed everything that I've ordered. For some of the best Vietnamese food in Slidell, please consider giving Pho House a try and you'll see why the locals keep coming back PHO more. Pho House is PHO-nomenal!

I usually like this place, but... Unfortunately last night, 05 March 2020, I ordered the pork and egg roll vermicelli noodle bowl and the pork was way over cooked and was old and cold (like the meat was cooked earlier and then put on side for a while until someone ordered). It was not good meat. Very bad, actually. Worst part: I told kid who was my waiter about this and he told me I need to describe it better. I thought it was a good enough description, and he didn't offer any compensation. So I won't be going back.

Amazing Pho! I've lived close to this restaurant for almost 2 years. I am disappointed that I didn't try it sooner! The pho was delicious. I had the spicy beef and an order of eggrolls. My mom had the wonton soup and she also enjoyed it. I actually tried hers and the broth was so flavorful and full of depth unlike most wonton soups that I've had in the past. My sons had the chicken pho and the bubble tea. They thought it was excellent too! Let's just say they have some new regular customers. On another note, the establishment is clean and the staff is friendly. That is always a plus for me. I think my family and I will make up for all the times we never ordered from here!

We brought 2 order of bun bo hue and an order of pho. The bun bo hue is nothing like bun bo hue they give you no meat with the soup. Just noodle and 2 piece of cha . Same go for the pho. I hasnt never see any order like this before. This was our third time ordering from them the last time was the same way. They're so cheap on the meat. Would be my last business with them. read more

The atmosphere and customer service were wonderful. The pork dishes were tasty- we had steamed buns and pork banh mi and it was delicious. However, I was disappointed in the broth for the pho. The beef broth lacked body and flavor. I would give the broth a 2/5. If you are looking for a solid place for pho, I do not recommend this place. However, if you are just looking for a rice dish, this is a great place. The main reason I gave this a 3/5 is because of the broth. As a pho place, I was expecting the broth to be on point. If the broth were better, I would give this a 5/5. read more

After randomly trying this place with a friend on afternoon, i've never stopped going back. First off, the chicken bahn mi is so fantastic, especially with a plate of the combination fried rice. Finally!!...a place in Slidell with decent Vietnamese! We have been here a couple times already and both times satisfied my Vietnamese craving! The broth for the Pho is actually pretty good..and not too salty/msg'y.. The rice plates..with porkchop/egg/rice is pretty good too....They also have Banh Mi, Bun, and other Rice dishes. $8.95 for a large Pho Dac Biet....Like any Vietnamese place..you go in hungry..and leave smelling like fish sauce! ;) not always a bad thing..I guess. My boyfriend and I found this place one day and it has been our favorite restaurant ever since! The staff is lovely and the food is presented to you like art. Tastes and looks amazing! Prices are very reasonable for what you receive. Almost everytime I go I try something new, and let me say that I am NEVER disappointed. Some of my favorites are the spicy beef noodle soup, egg noodles combination, combination fried rice, steamed shrimp bun, pork and shrimp spring rolls, and jack fruit boba tea. Everytime I introduce a friend or family member to the restaurant, they are delighted. Especially those who are new to Vietnamese food. Great food, great atmosphere, great people. Go there!!! read more

Great place! We stopped in on our way home from Gulf Shores & we were not disappointed! Pho was made fresh & tasted great! We also had an order of spring rolls & egg rolls. The egg rolls were excellent & the spring rolls were okay. Next time we will just order the egg rolls. Pho portion is very large & came with plenty of meat. We will be back! read more

Loved the grilled shrimp spring rolls and shrimp pho I selected. Found this spot on Yelp and was extremely impressed. Before locating this spot I would travel to New Orleans to Viet Orleans (which is amazing but quite the drive) now I have a local pho place that I absolutely love. I'm glad we passed by here. Great service and relaxed atmosphere. I had the bun bo hue instead of my usual combination pho and the broth was wonderful as was the amount of spiciness and combination of meats. My husband had the pho house pho (combination pho) which was decent not the best ever but still good. The spring roll appetizers were good as expected and the cafe sua da (ice milk coffee) was a large portion and good (not the best ever but still good). Definitely hits the spot if you're looking for a tasty bite of Vietnamese food :) read more

Excellent Spring Rolls! Standard dipping sauce is peanut sauce, but you can substitute sweet & sour or other sauces. I had the chicken & rice entree which came with a fried egg and a small salad. Lemonade is perfect. Highly recommend. read more

Went their for a light lunch and was not disappointed. I had their Spring Rolls with grilled shrimp and they were plump. The grilled shrimp was tasty and the vegetables were crisp. The biggest surprise was their award winning Steamed Buns. Typically, they are a steamed bun with pork filling. Here, they serve the bun like a pancake/taco that's filled with the best pork ever along with lettuce, carrots, jalepeno, and cilantro. I made a sauce of hoisin and soy to dip it in..... these steamed buns were a culinary masterpiece. Everything was fresh. This will be my first stop on my next visit to Slidell. read more

Came by with my father in law since we where trying to look for a good noodle place in town. We hesitated to come by just because we are use to another noodle place over in new Orleans, but I can tell you after today this with be our number 1 choice for getting some good noodles. I had very humble beginnings, had to make do with very little. Spam was a frequent protein for our meals, and I ate everything on my plate, because it wasn't much and we couldn't afford to waste. My young childhood growing up in a one parent household in Tallahassee, FL is probably at the root of me not wanting to share this, because I don't want to share long waits and a packed restaurant with everyone, I want to keep it all to myself. But, I am taking a leap of faith that my group centered behavior will reward my brains pleasure centers and fill me with self rewarding feelings as a result of sharing my thoughts about this gem in THE Dell. Koi's simply has the best sushi my son and I have ever had. We love our sushi, and we've eaten it everywhere within 50 miles of Slidell, and obviously all over the country, FL,WA,NC, SC, CA, etc.... The specialty rolls at Koi's are simply a work of art, and in a class all to their own. Nowhere comes close in my opinion. The flavor profiles can be so diverse and deliciously contrasting, every bite we take, we look at each other and simply cannot resist saying "O.M.G, so freaking good"! Our go to favorites are the Assassin, Independence, and the Rip Curl. My son swears that Nobu downtown New Orleans has the best quality ingredients for nigiri or sashimi lovers, but if you like great quality ingredients with a flavor adventure in every bite with your specialty roll selections, Koi's for the win. Do not sleep on this place, Slidell. Service is consistently great here as well. Friendly, timely, efficient, and we've seen similar faces for years now, which only helps validate this place is truly special. My perspective, they all feel invested in the guest experience, and I'm just grateful we have the opportunity to enjoy their service and food creations. Oh, did I mention EXCELLENT VALUE as well? I had a roll and a spicy tuna hand roll that was stuffed with yummy tuna. Husband had some kind of Chinese dish that was full of meat and shrimp. It was a huge portion and enough to take home for tomorrow. I can't wait to go back. My new favorite sushi spot in Slidell.
