Always awesome Vietnamese food!!! I am so very happy that Pho House in Slidell survived the COVID-19 closings. The Pho is always delicious and the meat is always tender. The small bowl is always loaded that I'm never able to finish it. The grilled pork roll was exceptional and yummy!!! Highly recommend this establishment!!! read more

It's not difficult to find good Vietnamese food in the greater New Orleans area, but, even so, this mom and pop restaurant stands out from the crowd. We swung by for an early dinner on our way home from points east and enjoyed the food immensely. My go to for Vietnamese food is vermicelli rice noodles with fresh veggies and your choice of meat, what they call bun on the menu, but I deviated from my usual here and tried the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and the Vietnamese crepe, Banh Xeo. Everything was delicious, fresh and skillfully prepared. The crepe is rich enough that I would order it as an app to share on future visits. I will return here often and try other menu items. Service was friendly and attentive. read more

Delicious food. We had Veg Pho and Bahnhofstrasse mi tofu. Fast courteous service. Brought takeout to car.

Our new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! Everything was amazing and the pho was delicious! If you like spicy, you will enjoy the spicy beef noodle pho! The Vietnamese egg rolls are so fresh and addictive!! The spare rib dish was equally awesome, it taste similar to adobo (Filipino dish). We highly recommend this gem! The owners are friendly and the restaurant is clean. read more

Fun New Owners!! Same great Pho and amazing Banh Mi and my favorite- Shaken Beef Salad. Twee is more than willing to "Keto" anything on the menu. There are some Vegetarian items, but even the Pho can be prepared without noodles. The family owned & operated venue has added more beef items as well. Our office has always loved this restaurant and now there's even more to love! read more

food was excellent and portion sizes are generous! want to bring special attention to the limeade, it was the best. it has a salty nuance that gives it a Virgin Margarita vibe. I'll go back if not just for the limeade!! it's a special recipe that that make each drink individually. read more

5 stars for take out! My family just moved from Seattle where Pho joints are numerous and authentic. I was feeling a cold coming on which calls for pho. Tried this place that was recommended and I tell you what- it is my new favorite place. My 6 year old's fave meal is plain noodle pho and they were happy to customize for her with no "greenies". We have had so much pho take out over the years and Pho House has the best packaging hands down, see my pics. Everything you need for the perfect home pho experience included. I had the eye round and my husband had the spicy beef. Anyone who says this was bland is not doing it right- add the fixins! Even without, this is a comforting, authentic broth that I greatly enjoyed. Food was ready for pickup in time quoted and order was correct. We will certainly be back again and again. read more

Spring rolls and round steak pho was delicious. Service was fantastic!

Ate here once a few months ago. I wasn't impressed with one of the pho bowls I got because it was very bland. No complaints about staff. Went again just the other day and I got the pork and egg roll bowl and it was actually pretty good, gave me faith in some of the other dishes that I now want to try. read more

Love this neighborhood Pho cafe. Always consistently good. Especially love the cellophane spring rolls.

Really excellent Pho! We tried the Spicy Beef, Shrimp, and the Eye of Round Steak Pho, and all were delicious. Got starters we had the Grilled Shrimp Spring Rolls. The peanut sauce was very good, and truly complimented the freshness of the spring rolls. Service was very helpful and friendly. The food came out quickly and piping hot. Don't hesitate to give the Pho House a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

The food here is great! We had the bun, pho and spring rolls. All well seasoned, fresh, and delicious. The people who work here also keep the place clean. The servers provide excellent service. They do things you don't always find at other restaurants like not leaving the table empty handed and removing any finished dishes as you go. Since the table was mostly cleaned up we had space to sign the check without doing it around a mess of dishes. They were also very attentive and checked on us throughout our meal. Overall great food and a wonderful experience. Pork Buns Spicy Pho read more

I don't like to give negative reviews. As a former chef, it pains me to call small restaurants to task, but in this case, I must. Three of us came for lunch. Our drink orders were taken promptly (two Vietnamese coffees and a lychee smoothie). Lunch consisted of two vermicelli bowls and a pork banh mi. After 20 minutes the food came but still no drinks. When we asked about them we were told they hadn't be made yet. It took another 11 minutes (now 31 in all from the time or order) for the coffee to arrive. In another 10 minutes the smoothie arrived. We were told the helper was late but that doesn't excuse such tardiness when only one table was occupied at the time of our arrival. As for the food, both the coffees and smoothie had an off flavor. My companions told me their vermicelli bowls were good but my banh mi was a different story. The pork was tasteless and the sandwich dry. I asked for more mayo but neither that nor soy sauce or sriracha improved it. With the other favorable reviews, I think they warrant a try as perhaps they were having an off day--we all have those. But I must report on my experience today. Would I try them again; yes, I would---everyone deserves a second chance. Visited October 2016 read more

Stopped on a road trip and tired of fast food. We had grilled vermicelli and it was really good. Would recommend it!

Delicious. Finally we find the place we love. I love Vietnamese crepes over here. Will come back again!!

As far as Vietnamese food goes, this place is definitely good. They had my favorite, the beef stew, I substituted noodle for the bread, and when it came out, I was happy. $10 including tax and tip. Clean, spacious, friendly folks, on the way home. What more could you ask for? read more

Finally, a healthy place to eat that is satisfying and easy on the wallet. If you want to get away from fast good and greasy American fare, this is the place for you. All of their produce tastes as fresh and fragrant as if it was plucked from a garden right after we ordered. Depending on what you select, the meat can be light (like in the chicken noodle soup), or richer and tastier (like in the lemon-pepper chicken). Either way, the meat is tender and perfectly cooked. This place is cheaper than Pho Bistro on Gause and is of a much higher quality ($24 per visit including tip for two people vs. $30 for similar entrees). You won't leave hungry; it's indeed possible to doggy-bag some of that magic so you can re-live the experience at home. Furthermore, the place is clean, neat, and elegant. No odd smells around here, unlike Pho Bistro. This is also one of the few restaurants in Slidell that isn't blasting Faux News but instead the more tolerable CNN. Our waiter, who seemed to be either the son or nephew of the owner, was very polite and nice. I found his somewhat shy yet happy and youthful demeanor endearing. This is definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant in Slidell, and you must go to experience the deliciousness that awaits your mouth. read more

Moving to Slidell, I was afraid to never find a pho place as good as I had. But lo and behold, Pho House delivered. The broth of the brisket pho is flavorful and there's meat aplenty. The spring rolls are adequate and they allow you to order in pairs, so your pants won't snap off after the meal (it's usually four whether you like it or not). The place itself is nice and lively with New Orleans themed aesthetics scattered about. The real star here though is the waiter we've always had - Burns. Attentive, social and quite the character. Most enjoyable service I've had in a long time. If you're familiar with Vietnamese food, go. If not, go try it. You might walk out a fan. Tip - load your broth with the two sauces at the table (careful with the red one, it's a bit spicy) for a great added flavor. read more

This was the first pho I had when I moved to the area. If your looking for to go pho this is the place to hit up. I've never had a bad bowl. Unfortunately I've never actually eaten in the restaurant but it's clean and quaint. I love the flavor in the broth! YUM read more

We were just passing by and ever since I know la has a lot of Vietnamese people I know I have to try pho restaurant when I am here... And here I am!!! I did a search on Yelp there are so many pho restaurants around but only this one is on the way. The restaurant is very open and with lovely decors. Their many is simple - which is a plus for me. I ordered their pho house large. And spring rolls. I am not disappointed! The soup is very flavorful and with a lot of meat. The waitress is very very nice and very considerate of all customers. She is experienced because she knows not to fill up the water all the way for kids so they won't spill. And refilled out water without us asking. We also order bubble tea and it is way too sugary for me but because I haven't had it for a long time so maybe just me been picky. If we ever have a chance to come back we will!!!! read more

Pho House - Cute little place! - Vietnamese Near Me - Slidell, Louisiana

Started with the Bahn Mi. Very good. Not Hong Kong market good but still satisfying. Moved on to the Grilled Pork and Spring Roll Bun. Fantastic! Really, really delicious. Their Fish Sauce is one of the best I've had. Not too fishy, not too sweet. Just right. Decided things were going so well I needed to finish off with the Vietnamese Crepe. It to, really good. But, wait a minute, is that a hair I just uncovered? Hiding underneath? Why does this seem to only happen to me? Showed it to the waiter, asked for the bill, got charged for the dish I couldn't eat. Yuck! read more
