Love this place! Everything is always hot and fresh. I've only ordered to go, but by the time I order and drive there, it's done! The egg drop soup is really rich and isn't thick and gloopy like some places. It's hands down my favorite egg drop soup from any place. If I could give a negative ten, I would. One of the most disgusting meals that I have ever attempted to eat! Burnt and oil drenched Shrimp Egg Foo Young and the sauce with which it came, Absolutely gross! The Shrimp and Lobster Sauce had shrimp in it but what was served was no Shrimp and Lobster sauce that we've ever had! The sauce made you gag! The spring roll was a mush and the rice was blah and overcooked! I am not one to return bad food but had I not bought this while passing through, I would have! Slidell has SO MANY options for Asian dining. In this parking lot you have Japanese, Vietnamese and Lucky Panda with their Chinese. I really enjoyed this place. It was all booths (I have mentioned in the past my love of booths). We ended up getting the food to go. It wasn't overly greasy or soggy. It was the perfect amount of authentic and Americanized Chinese. I would suggest you give it a go! I would say best in Slidell! I ordered the wonton soup, wasn't my favorite but the kung pao shrimp was great. EVEN with the amount of celery.. and I hate celery. PLUS - Amazing prices for large servings! read more

I went here because the health score was a 95 out of 100 which is hard to find for a Chinese food Restaurant. Unfortunately like other reviews have noted the food (Had the steak and broccoli with lo mein ) has no taste. Ended up just having to put on so much soy sauce to make it edible. However the place was very clean and the service was friendly and quick. read more

Ordered via DoorDash. It came complete and hot. It was packaged well. The complaint I have is just with the overall taste and flavor of the food. Extremely disappointing. Several of the dishes were listed a spicy but had little or no splice. Again just bland. Spring rolls were crisp on the outside but mushy on the inside. The biggest issue was the taste of the rice. It was terrible. The only way I can explain is that it tasted like the way plastic/cardboard smell. It was packaged in a plastic container so I don't know if it pulls the scent from that but nonetheless it was awful. This was my first time at the restaurant and I may possibly give them another opportunity but will probably not be soon. read more

Every time you move, the dreaded task of finding a Chinese take out joint ensues. I found this place on yelp and I am glad I did. Food was well packaged and order was correct, food still hot when we got home. Good cuts of meat and fresh vegetables used. Can't wait to try more on the menu. Pretty good! I wasn't sure of a Chinese place in Slidell. After reading the reviews I chose Lucky Panda. It definitely did not disappoint. I ordered ahead and picked up my order. I didn't get a chance to eat it for another 30 minutes and it was still warm. There was no need to reheat it. The fried rice was good. I prefer more seasoning but it's nothing soy sauce couldn't help. I definitely recommend the lo mein. It was flavorful. I would continue to come back for that. The pricing is great with nice size portions. A small order can feed 2, large can serve 3-4. Give this place a try. read more

I moved to Slidell 2 years ago and have been looking for a really good Chinese restaurant. I tried a few and while they weren't bad, I didn't feel the need to go back and order again. When I tried the food at Lucky Panda, I knew immediately I'd be back. Quick service. Large portions. Very, very reasonable price. I recommend the Mongolian Beef, General Tso's Chicken, and the Lo Mein. If you're looking for a good appetizer, the Fried Meat Wonton and the sauce that comes with it are great, as well. read more

Im always nervous about trying new Chinese spots buut decided to give it a try due to it being the closest to my apt. Im temporarily down here for work and being from the dmv area(DC, MD, VA) Im accustomed to some amazing carryout spots... I decided to order the General Tsos Shrimp to compare it to what i usually get at home which is Amazing everytime soo my expectations were low. I called ahead and my food was ready when I arrived and appeared to be hot and fresh so i was happy about that. HOWEVER this sadly was the first time i ever had Chinese food that was flavorless !!!and extremely disappointing buut cant say im completely surprised. The shrimp were light and barely fried enough u can tell it was rushed when made.. not sure if it's because i arrived quickly but i would have gladly waited for better tasting food. At home my shrimp are packed with flavor and here its like they literally poured general tsos sauce overtop the food and just called it a day..The sauce at home tastes way better than here and is actually cooked with the shrimp. The eggrolls were also nasty i never thought there was a such thing as flavorless eggrolls buut apparently so.. the price here and at home are the same yet the portions and taste do not compare on any levels and if i ever crave Chinese again i definitely wont be coming here again read more

I ordered quite a few things when I went. The shrimp lo mein, sweet n sour chicken combo, egg roll, and Chinese donuts. The shrimp lo mein didnt come with as much shrimp as I would have wanted but tastes pretty good. I dont like the style of their sweet n sour chicken because im not a big fan of pouring that red sauce on it. The egg roll was okay but not a fan of it. Not a fan of the donuts either, they were pretty good but didnt hit the spot. I will try this place again though and see if my rating goes up. read more
