Tonight was my first time trying it because the Yee Chinese restaurant was close. I was pleasantly surprised, my orange chicken was on point, hot, savory, and full of flavor. The fried Rice that came with it was okay I've had better. I had also ordered fried dumplings and that was the biggest delight of the night. It was hot, a little crispy and perfect, large full of flavor and the sauce was delicious. I'm only giving it 4 stars simply because the fried rice could have been better. Well when I got hung up on when I only ordered two soups should have been a sign to just cancel and order somewhere else but I thought maybe that's their culture . I stopped in on this place after finding my regular Chinese place closed. I was disappointed that I couldn't get my favorite dish from my favorite place. I ordered pork fried rice, an egg roll, and a large order of black pepper chicken. It wasn't on the menu but they made it for me anyway. It was sautéed chicken breast with onions, peppers, and a light and sweet brown sauce. The fried rice and egg roll were excellent!!! The chicken was very nice. Terrible, Horrible, The very worst customer service! I went in to order a lunch special and forgot my soda. I called back to let employee know and was told i could come to pick it up at a later date! Fast forward to a day later. I wanted to order 3 lunch specials and a side of shrimp rice. I also asked them to give me the drink I had left the other. I was told the lady who told me I can pick it up isn't there and I couldn't have my drink that I paid for! I asked for a manager. Andy stated their was no manager. I asked for whoever was in charge . He said he was. Sigh! Well Andy can you please do whatever is necessary to verify that you all owe me a drink so that I can place my order. He didn't want to try to help me in any way. He started ranting "that y'all always start saying how y'all always buy food from us when y'all want something for free. " I'm sorry but how is wanting something you paid for wanting something for free. Homeboy hung up in my face and blocked my phone number. My family and I love the food there. We've been ordering take-out there for several years, and often. BUT every now and then they get the order wrong or leave out some item. Very frustrating, but the food is so good we overlook it. The problem seems to be a communication problem (1) Trouble with understanding the Viet-Nameese speach. (2) They speak quickly and in broken english not unlike the way the indians of the cowboy movies speak. And they don't seem to care if they're wrong (3) Contact and communications are rushed. Pick-up is the same. "Wam-bam thank you mam!" "Cash or charge?" (4) The counter is too often handled by a young man that started when he could hardly reach the counter. That means that all the afore mentioned is multiplied by a young person too sure of himself to listen, check the order and be sure the order is complete.
