Excellent Shrimp Pad Thai! The taste & quality reminds me of flavors similar to restaurants in Los Angeles. I was very surprised to find such Thai cuisine in Slidell, very glad I did! The Thai Eggrolls are also delicious & obviously homemade...yum! Other menu selections are just as good. The restaurant staff is friendly, provides efficient attentive customer service. Much better than expected. We ate here when it was Thai-licious and it is nicer now. The servers were friendly, answered our questions, and recommended dishes for us. The menu is large. We have tried a lot of dishes and there is always something else to try the next time. Try the roti! It is basically just puffy bread (like a sopapilla) but depending on how it is seasoned it can be very different. Definitely something that I hadn't seen before and it was tasty and fun. Note: the parking lot is small and tight and they share with the other businesses in the strip. If you have a big truck or SUV you might consider parking out on the edges and save yourself from door dings. I watched an RV drive in and he almost couldn't get out. read more

Love, love, love this place! Over-ordered as always; Dumplings, Rangoon, Rad Na chicken, all good. Ploy Thai (Mandeville) has my favorite Rangoon, but Singh's is good too. My pretty server, Tina, knew the menu and was very attentive. The three ladies in the kitchen (which you can see!) never send me an average dish. Food is seasoned well and hot Wok'd. Wish they were closer. For Boba lovers, they got that too. Not my cup of 'tea' though. read more

I think I found my new Thai go to The restaurant is really nice, love the traditional culture decor, it was really lit up inside (we went at night). Lo e the spaciousness of the tables. Our server was great...little speedy because she was moving those feet and she carried a great big Smile The food was delicious We started with the crab rangoon which was super delicious and that sauce just added another level of taste. It was definitely fresh, not sitting. We tried the noodle , which was plentiful, neither one of us could finish it and deliciable!!!! Really great taste, full of flavor. Cute little hidden gem in Slidell. After several attempts, we finally were able to catch them open. I recommend calling first. Off street parking, but lot is small as it's shared with neighboring businesses. We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Everyone seemed to know the regulars, so that was heartwarming. Our server was very sweet and cheerful, checking on us constantly but not overbearing. We started with the special that day, crab fried rice and the red snapper. You will not be disappointed. The rice was seasoned well with lump crabmeat...and they weren't skimpy on the crabmeat. The red snapper was fried perfectly, came out nice and hot, full of authentic Thai flavors. It was topped with shrimp, vegetables and this delicious sauce. Not a spicy dish, so dig in! We also tried some pad Thai and a combination noodle dish, all delicious. I asked for spicy and it was the perfect temp. We washed it down with some lemon drops. They were made with the right amount of everything. Left us wanting more. Can't wait to go back!! read more

Got my absolute favorite Tom Kha soup ... very good, and a little different from what I usually find at other places. I also got Ginger shrimp which was too salty for my taste. The server was just ok, asked a few times if I needed anything else, and when I finally asked for extra napkins, he pranced away and forgot all about them. lol read more

Came to try Singha Thai after seeing many posts on FB. It wasn't busy when I arrived in Saturday evening, with only two other occupied tables during my visit. The waitress was prompt and the service with friendly. The man who came by to deliver my salad and entree was very nice and checked to be sure I enjoyed everything. Good portion size on the green curry with chicken. My only preference would have been more thinly sliced vegetables but I am aware that is personal preference and others may prefer chunky vegetables. Flavor was good and, it while wasn't spicy, there was just enough heat on the end. read more

On our way to Los Angeles, one of our resting spots is Slidell Louisiana. For dinner, we decided to try Singha Thai. It had a 4.5 star rating. The restaurant is casual, friendly, and welcoming. The food was good. We ordered the crispy spring rolls. They were crispy and tasty. The dipping sauce was good. For entrees, we ordered chicken Pad See Ew and chicken Pad Kee Mow (medium spice). The flavors were delicious. The noodles were not the broad wide rice noodles. They were slim. The service was attentive and friendly. read more

This is the same Singha restaurant that was a staple in the CBD since 1999. When they closed up, I was saddened. Then IMMEDIATELY OVERJOYED when I saw they opened up not 10 minutes from my house. The food is extremely good, but I am biased because I used to eat at their old location regularly. The interior is okay, not as good as their old location. However, I'm not there for the environment. This is one of the newest locations in Slidell. I recently ordered pick up from here and the food tasted hot & fresh. Though the portions are small for the pricing. I also noticed they don't offer lunch specials. So if you're eating on a budget, this isn't the best pick. The ambiance is pretty clean and has some comfortable seating. It is inviting and the employees seem to notice you right away. Offering help to you right at the door. We had friend pork belly, highly recommend it! The taste is sweet and the greens so well w/it. The panang fish is also recommended. It is crispy and gets drenched in the sauce (the only recommendation I would give is S.O.S for to-go), as sometimes that doesn't travel well. The egg rolls are pretty good but not my favorite. All in all, I recommend this place for taste buds and ambiance but not so much on portion for your buck. read more

Y'all. Please try their combo fried rice!!! It's a 10/10, out of all the restaurants in Slidell they have the BEST COMBO FRIED RICE!! If you get to try at least one thing there, do the combo fried rice, you will be coming back for more of its deliciousness!! It would be a full five stars but I tried the cheesecakes they make and they were okay so I have to be honest. Oh and the Tom Yum soup!! Definitely a great choice it's soooo perfect, especially with some tofu added! read more

It been a minute since I wrote a review. Hard times nowadays. Anywho, I wasn't a fan of Thailicuous before because I ordered a padthai and wanted thai EXTRA spicy, they gave me a side of red pepper flakes. I decided to try them again and ordered Pan woonsen chicken and again, said thai EXTRA spicy. No side of red pepper flakes, which was a good sign and the flavor was good. The spice was there, not as spicy as I would like but I have a high tolerance; higher, I enjoyed the dish. I really like the stir fry glass noodles, good amount of chicken and vegetables. I would definitely go back and order this dish again. Debating though if I want to give the padthai another try but this dish will do. read more

I really wanted to love this new place. I ordered: crispy spring rolls, crab rangoon, pad thai (med), spicy thai fried rice, pad woon sen (med), and pad kee mao (mild). The crab rangoon was very good. The spring rolls were extremely chewy like they were cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough. The entrees were okay, but everything, including the fried rice, was way too sweet. The medium heat was barely present, but overall the sweetness was just way too overpowering. read more

If you want authentic Thai - LOOK NO FURTHER If you want to be treated like family - LOOK NO FURTHER The hostess was the most gracious and motherly person that I've ever seen. In a restaurant with 5 busy tables as well as three grub hub orders, she was charming, gracious, kind, available and so swift that no one was displeased. Not to forget, she was the ONLY one upfront - she was taking care of orders and bringing them too!!!!! The chef in the kitchen was the owner. To make sure the food was fresh, she cooks early in the morning and when the restaurant is closed from 2-5 for the evening!!!! The freshness showed!!!! The hostess was so kind that she made some meat dishes into veggie dishes - not on our prompting but on her own!!! It's been quite a while to see such service!!!! Especially so thankful to receive it in this post-pandemic radically behaving entitled customer service that we have recently experienced. While the food was spicy to begin with, she brought me the spice tray when she sensed that I may need more spice. The paste was perfect - not the kind thay scorches your tongue but allows your tongue to get enhanced to taste each flavor in the food provided. After that the egg noodles tasted even great with the pork so finely done!!! Thai tea was a blessing that I had never experienced before. Jasmine tea warmed the heart!!!! The fried rice was choice fully flavored - nothing and I mean nothing was overwhelming, which is very easy with such spicy cuisines. The mango sticky rice was made perfect!!!! Sorry to not have a photo for that - it was demolished before I could take a photo!!!!! Take the detour if you are coming close to New Orleans to step into this place. Amazing food. Excellent all around. Haven't had an item that wasn't delicious so try it all! Please remember it's only 1-2 people working and they only have 1 wok, so if you're getting a large order with stir fry orders, please be PATIENT. Don't get upset if it takes 45min during busy hours and you're making a large order. Tip them well! This place is a treasure. read more

The New Singha Thai that replaced the shut-down THAiLiCiOUS is NOT GOOD those who were wondering. They spent more money and time on renovations, menu aesthetic, marketing, food presentation and putting a flower on everyone's plate than the actual food quality, food menu accuracy (just threw random veggies in curry instead of specific ones listed. Was told they don't even have some ingredients listed in stock in kitchen. Which is fine but that has to be communicated ahead of time on 86 list for servers to know the customers dishes won't be accurate), flavor, balance, or portion sizes. Very small portions put on shallow plates because that amount of curry would look obviously sparse in a bowl. The Thai Tea $5 came in water goblet so portion smaller than any other Thai Restaurant around here for more money. Then the tea was already mixed with cream on cart in back unrefrigerated & they pour even more cream on top. For $7.50 you can get the same tea but in bubble tea cup with chewy tapioca pearls. They are still getting use to the amount of people in there to try it out, service is very slow. All of the workers were nice. read more

My friend recommended this place to me. I had ordered take-out and it seemed like a lot of people were ordering food from here. The drunken noodle was so good and I accidentally added too much extra chili on it, but it still tasted amazing. The thai iced tea was extremely sweet to me so it was kind of nasty (order at your own risk because it's possible yours can be better). I would definitely try this place again. read more
