    Pad Thai tofu.

If you like Thai food, you must stop here and eat. It is currently take out only which I needed so it was not a problem for me. It's a very nice establishment so when they do open for seating again I anticipate it being packed. I was a life long Californian & moved to a very tiny town in Mississippi and have not had Thai food in 2.5 years; I was passing through Mandeville yesterday and decided to try and find a Thai restaurant. I am thrilled Ploy's Kitchen Thai Cafe popped up on my search. The woman at the counter - also the cook - was so sweet. I don't eat meat and she said everything could be made meat free and with tofu if I wanted. She even asked if egg was ok before she made anything. They make everything fresh and to order. I knew I wanted Pad Thai since it's a favorite but I wanted something that was a speciality of this restaurant. She recommended the Khao Soi. The Khao Soi is DELICIOUS. I think I found my new favorite Thai dish. Both the Pad Thai (also very delicious, I will get this again too) and Khao Soi were generous portions. Everything was very reasonably priced. I also got the spring rolls. They were so good. The sauce was unique from what I'm used to having in California and I actually liked it so much better. I think it would make a great salad dressing. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Ploy's Kitchen. It is positively worth going and I told my husband I WILL go out of my way and drive the hour and a half from home to get Thai food from here at least a few times a year.

This cafe is take out style, although they do have a few tables for guests to sit and eat at. However, the food is presented in take out containers which my friend and I did not mind. The Karee curry was yum and the sweet roti was perfect. I've missed sweet roti from my past trip to Thailand and was delighted to see it served here! The condensed milk and thin roti taste is a great time. The staff was super sweet and friendly. She gave us complimentary Thai tea which was really lovely. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend this place! They have some authentic dishes here like Khao soi which my friend got a s loved. Give them some love!

We ordered delivery. The burning noodles were absolutely amazing. We had to wait a few more minutes on our big order so they gave us a complimentary thai tea to wait.

By far the best Thai I've had on the north shore. The Thai iced tea hits on a hot summer day. We got pad see ew and pad Thai, both incredible and packed with flavor. The pad see ew noodles were perfect, a nice light texture with an incredible punch of flavor hitting your palate. The pad Thai also, slaps. Looking forward to going back and trying the curry! Also, the customer service was 10/10. They gave my little nephew an ice cream cone on the house, and overall they were extremely kind. Highly recommended!

Delicious food. Take out only. Totally worth not being able to eat in-house. I had the green curry and panang curry.

This place has the most delightful shrimp pad Thai. A little spicy with jumbo shrimp.

We started with the crab rangoons, and they were spot on: golden and crispy with that creamy, slightly sweet filling that makes you reach for "just one more." Not greasy, not heavy, exactly how they should be. The Trey Yuen Special Steak absolutely delivered. Tender slices, perfectly cooked, coated in a rich, savory sauce that had depth without overpowering the meat. It felt like one of those signature dishes that's been refined over years. The Hunan chicken brought a balanced heat flavorful and slightly smoky with plenty of vegetables, not just spice for the sake of spice. It had that classic boldness without being overwhelming. But honestly? The bartender elevated the whole experience. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being over the top, and clearly experienced. Drinks were balanced, timely, and thoughtfully made, not rushed. It made sitting at the bar feel like the best seat in the house. That level of service makes a difference. The food was consistent and well-executed, but the hospitality is what will bring us back.

My high hopes for this beautiful restaurant located in a large Chinese pagoda were quickly dashed…read morewhen I realized that most of the food was either semi-traditional or not traditional at all. I went with four other people so we ordered the family set which consisted of soup, egg rolls and four entrees to share. The egg drop soup that I selected was tasty enough but the various entrees left much to be desired. There was very little meat in the chicken lo mein and the cooked vegetables were greasy and underwhelming. Generally speaking, ALL of the dishes were greasy and synonymous in flavor. I expected the entrees to have a variety of flavor combinations authentic to the various regions of China but everything was covered in the same greasy brown sauce. We may have just ordered the wrong things but our first impression was not a good one. One highlight was that the waitstaff was very attentive and kind and the dishes did not take too long to arrive at our table. 4/10, I would try it again only if the tea duck is still on the menu!
