Pad Thai tofu.

If you like Thai food, you must stop here and eat. It is currently take out only which I needed so it was not a problem for me. It's a very nice establishment so when they do open for seating again I anticipate it being packed. I was a life long Californian & moved to a very tiny town in Mississippi and have not had Thai food in 2.5 years; I was passing through Mandeville yesterday and decided to try and find a Thai restaurant. I am thrilled Ploy's Kitchen Thai Cafe popped up on my search. The woman at the counter - also the cook - was so sweet. I don't eat meat and she said everything could be made meat free and with tofu if I wanted. She even asked if egg was ok before she made anything. They make everything fresh and to order. I knew I wanted Pad Thai since it's a favorite but I wanted something that was a speciality of this restaurant. She recommended the Khao Soi. The Khao Soi is DELICIOUS. I think I found my new favorite Thai dish. Both the Pad Thai (also very delicious, I will get this again too) and Khao Soi were generous portions. Everything was very reasonably priced. I also got the spring rolls. They were so good. The sauce was unique from what I'm used to having in California and I actually liked it so much better. I think it would make a great salad dressing. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Ploy's Kitchen. It is positively worth going and I told my husband I WILL go out of my way and drive the hour and a half from home to get Thai food from here at least a few times a year.

Sweet roti

This cafe is take out style, although they do have a few tables for guests to sit and eat at. However, the food is presented in take out containers which my friend and I did not mind. The Karee curry was yum and the sweet roti was perfect. I've missed sweet roti from my past trip to Thailand and was delighted to see it served here! The condensed milk and thin roti taste is a great time. The staff was super sweet and friendly. She gave us complimentary Thai tea which was really lovely. I'd definitely come back and highly recommend this place! They have some authentic dishes here like Khao soi which my friend got a s loved. Give them some love!

We ordered delivery. The burning noodles were absolutely amazing. We had to wait a few more minutes on our big order so they gave us a complimentary thai tea to wait.

By far the best Thai I've had on the north shore. The Thai iced tea hits on a hot summer day. We got pad see ew and pad Thai, both incredible and packed with flavor. The pad see ew noodles were perfect, a nice light texture with an incredible punch of flavor hitting your palate. The pad Thai also, slaps. Looking forward to going back and trying the curry! Also, the customer service was 10/10. They gave my little nephew an ice cream cone on the house, and overall they were extremely kind. Highly recommended!

Delicious food. Take out only. Totally worth not being able to eat in-house. I had the green curry and panang curry.

I'll start by saying the 2 Stars are completely for the food. Now, on with the review…read more Happened to be in the area and the husband saw this place. We went in for lunch. It appeared from the start that service wouldn't be great, but the hoped it was a fluke upon entering. It was not. We ordered the pulled pork, the wings, the baked beans and the Mac & cheese. The pulled pork would have been good if it had been even remotely hot. The baked beans were good. The wings were good. The Mac and cheese was a thick velveeta type, with a LOT of black pepper (which was the overall taste of the dish) , as well as something else that that gave it a spicy taste, and I was not a fan. The part of this place that was the biggest issue was the service. The Server was not remotely friendly. It was a very uncomfortable atmosphere and made lunch one of those "let's hurry up and get out of here" processes. After a quick bit we asked for the check, which was brought over by an another employee and literally dropped onto the table. Like with a thud! He said not one word. But other than asking what we'd like, answering a question, and asking if we needed anything at one point in a non smiling monotone, that's basically the attitude of the Server we'd had also. So no idea why we were shocked. Needless to say that we will not ever, ever be returning. I think it's important to note that service counts. To many of us, it counts as much as the actual food. I'm one of those people. Customers should feel welcome or wanted at the least. The very least. There are several other options near this place. We will do ourselves a favor in the future, and try one of those.

If you are ever near Mandeville and need some super tasty BBQ then look no further than Sticks!…read more I've only visited Sticks once, but I was definitely blown away by how tasty everything was. Below are a few highlights from my first visit. MEATS: I tried both the brisket and sausage. Both were super tasty. I didn't eat all the sausage, so I took the rest home to reheat for later. It was even better reheated! The barbecue sauce that they serve for their smoked meats is super tasty! So, if you take leftovers home, be sure to ask for some extra sauce to go. SIDES: I tried two sides on my visit---the potato salad and greens. Both were pretty tasty, but the potato salad was especially out-of-this-world!! APPETIZERS: Yeah, I know it's weird that I'm reporting on appetizers last, but I visited Sticks at lunch the day of an LSU game. So, I ordered a "to go" order of 6 grilled wings for later! Don't you just love grilled or smoked wings? They are so much better than the fried ones that so many restaurants serve. I wish many more restaurants understood that grilled (or smoked) wings are superior! No batter, no frying.... just a really good basting! And, yes, later that night, I ate the hell out the 6 wings I got "to go," dousing them in Sticks' homemade BBQ sauce and Blue Cheese dressing. They were finger-licking good!! Try Sticks if you live nearby or are traveling through. You will certainly be pleased.
