Definitely a Mugshots fan! I mean, that bun is to die for, but they also like to fill it with all the yummy stuff. For me, that means an under-cooked patty, just the way I like it, with mushrooms and swiss. So good...soooooo good. Juicy, hot, melty, full of love and carbs just like all the good meals. There are always fried mushrooms, too. Super hot and should come with a warning, they are a delicious opener here at Mugshots - let 'em cool a little, then dip into that homemade ranch and do the Mmmmmm thing - you know you want to. Service is always a treat - these folks make us feel wanted and loved on every trip! read more

Cool spot with some good food. Good place for lunch or a drop in. The burgers are good and they have a decent selection of them to choose from. read more

Always great quality food and service and decent prices. Would suggest adding additional dessert options to the menu.

This was our first time eating at Mugshots. We were there for a family lunch. The restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. The service was really good, and the food was good too. It was exactly what we expected. I would recommend Mugshots if you were looking for a good burger with creative choices. read more

Burger is dry and service is lacking. The Inferno Chicken wrap had no sauce no spices not even salt and pepper. The onion rings are frozen and the sweet potato fries are hard as rocks! We had to flag someone down for napkins and forks. The staff has time to stand around and talk to eachother. We won't be back! read more

The initial greeting at Mugshots in Covington, LA was very prompt -- always a good start when you're ready to eat. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries and the blackened Mahi Mahi entrée with veggies. The cheeseburger came out within a reasonable time, hot and fresh. The fries were very good -- crisp, seasoned just right, and definitely a standout. The Mahi Mahi was fresh, cooked correctly, and nicely seasoned. The side of sautéed onions and squash made for a flavorful veggie combo. If you're looking for large portions, stick to the burger side of the menu -- Mugshots really shines there. The fish and veggies were tasty but a bit on the lighter side, leaving me just a touch hungry. The ambiance has a fun, laid-back feel -- exposed brick, wood paneling, and rustic metal touches that fit the casual pub vibe perfectly. Service was great, attentive, and punctual throughout the meal. Overall, Mugshots is a fun local spot with solid food and friendly service. A dependable go-to for a casual bite and a good burger fix. read more

Actually found out about this location on Yelp, no brainer to visit. We came about 4 a'clock on a Sunday with a rowdy crowd of 8 and the service was great. They seemed to be not very busy at all, seating us all fast. Pretty sure our server was also the bartender; he was patient with us as we were loud and rowdy. Plenty plenty TV's around the restaurant, many booths and tables and a lot of spots to sit at the bar. I wanted to just try the wings therefore I just got 5 (hot) and they were pretty good, meaty for sure and great buffalo flavour. Also got the Texan burger and it was excellent. As he walked off I hollered at him not in a rude way to make sure it was cooked medium. It was pink in the middle, so I'm not sure if he took me serious or if the cooks just aren't the best but I really enjoyed this burger. Fried onion rings and jalapeños along with pepper jack cheese was heavenly with the thick burger not cooked well done. Sourdough bun is delightful and the fries are simply amazing as well. I've never had a bad bite to eat from any mugshots. My bill was $42 with the food listed and pictured as well as a tall craft beer. Overall was a great visit and would recommend to anyone. read more

We had an early happy hour dinner at Mugshots Grill & Bar and enjoyed the experience. Mugshots features lots of TVs and a sports bar, beer, and burger kind of vibe, but has a menu that goes a little further to offer an array of appetizers, salads, specialty sandwiches and a few regional favorite entrees, as well. The bar offers a range of micro brews and specialty cocktails, in addition to the standards. Service was friendly and efficient. I had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes, gravy, and broiled zucchini, with a good Texas toast. My wife had the signature burger with fries. Everything was good and well presented. I had a local brew, which was good, and my wife had an Old Fashioned, which unfortunately was a little bitter. Prices were reasonable. Mugshots is a good place to meet friends for a game, or for a good casual meal. read more

The new Chicag-ish Dog was great. Great flavor, fries were fresh & hot. My order was ready on time.

I eat mugshots twice a week. The Food is Awesome. I even send Grub hub. I just love the food. I will tell you, I am one of the pickiest eaters ever. When I order, I know what to expect. I'm never disappointed. read more

The food was great . The waitress was very friendly and professional . Service was great .food came quickly .

Food was really good. The burger was cooked to protection. Fries was still warm upon arrival. Delivery driver was great.

10 out of 10 highly recommend food was very good as well as wait staff, the place gave off good vibes

Food was good, service was fine until server tried to finesse us into tipping 50% on an already overpriced $40 order. Nice way to ruin a good experience and lose a repeat customer! If you're thinking about going here, just go to chilli's instead. You'll get double the food for half the price, and the servers aren't beggars. read more

Attempted to return to this location, but after our last experience some time back I decided to see if the hamburger patties had gone back to weed hat we used to love. Unfortunately the owner manager wasn't there so I asked the young lady in the bar area if I could see what the starting product looked like. Didn't want to touch it or anything, just see if and decide if we wanted to give it a try. The young lady became a little less than polite and absolutely refused. Can't give y'all a try with this level of mystery. If the patties are indeed freshly made like before it would be possible to see from a few feet away. Oh well there's always Chilis read more

Server was attentive and food tasted great. Tried the milkshake for the first time. There was a $3 discount on lg milkshake and was a fair price read more

The service and timing were great. My only complaint is that the fries were a bit saltier than I prefer. The burgers were great!

Mugshots has the very best burgers and fries!!! Love the Big Kahuna burger

A sports bar supposedly, but I'm sitting here on Saturday during March Madness; no one at the bar and mostly empty, the three big screens behind the bar are on bowling, women's softball and off. Took seven minutes from sitting down to get acknowledged, as there is no bartender, simply a server who's also handling the few tables here. Hard pass. Update: I asked for the basketball tournament on the TVs, was told the manager would get them (what sports bar manager doesn't know March Madness is on???); been waiting twenty minutes, no sign of the manager, only the server trying to handle to-go, tables and bar. No wonder this place is always mostly empty. read more

Good food, good service. Appetizer (wings( came out fairly fast, lunch (burger and taco) seemed to take awhile.

Clean, friendly, delicious!! Hamburgers were excellent as always. The chocolate shake was so delicious and refreshing.

I ordered the Cajun pasta and it had no flavor. I took 2 bites and completely lost my appetite, the service was ok.

Moved back to the Covington area and Went there for the first time and everything was perfect. The food, service and the atmosphere was great. Had a great vibe! They have good burgers and cold beer but the service sucks. I'm surprised this place hasn't shut down yet.

To say the restaurant was dirty would be an understatement. Less than an hour from opening and the bathroom looked and smelled as if they hadn't been cleaned in a week. The table we were sat at was filthy. Some sort of oil on the bottom of the table. We left before even ordering drinks. At lunch it's empty and I guess we now know why. read more
